Mason House Event Center blends timeless architecture with modern comfort, creating a setting that feels both historic and deeply romantic. With its striking brick exterior, distinctive architectural details, and warm interior character, the space offers a meaningful backdrop for couples who value charm, history, and intention. Originally built in the early 1900s after a devastating fire, the building stands as a symbol of resilience and renewal — a fitting foundation for the start of your own new chapter. Today, it is being thoughtfully transformed into a wedding and event venue designed to host ceremonies and receptions seamlessly within one spacious, character-filled hall. We can’t wait to open our doors and begin celebrating love stories within these historic walls.

Our spacious main hall surrounded by exposed brick walls highlights the building’s historic character and Romanesque Revival architecture. The open layout provides ample room to host both ceremonies and receptions within one cohesive space, comfortably accommodating up to 150 guests. A private bridal suite offers a quiet, comfortable area for getting ready. The venue also includes a dedicated bar area for beverage service and convenient access to a prep kitchen for licensed caterers.

    A Dream Space for Romantic Florals

    As the in-house florist for Mason House Event Center, I truly could not be more excited to design within this beautiful, historic space. The character of the exposed brick walls, the architectural details, and the warm atmosphere create the perfect backdrop for romantic, garden-inspired florals. Every time I step into the space, I’m inspired by how seamlessly flowers can enhance its natural charm and timeless elegance. What I love most is being able to collaborate closely with couples from the very beginning — not just as their florist, but as part of the venue team. That connection allows me to thoughtfully design florals that complement the layout, lighting, and overall aesthetic of Mason House. Whether it’s an intimate ceremony framed by lush greenery or reception tables filled with soft, seasonal blooms, I am passionate about creating designs that feel personal and meaningful to each couple. Being part of this new chapter for Mason House is incredibly special to me. Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.
Our peak season runs from May through November, when demand for weddings and events is highest and prime dates book quickly.
Our off-peak season is January through April and December. During this time, we offer greater date availability and may provide seasonal pricing incentives.
Yes, outside alcohol may be brought in; however, all alcohol must be served by a licensed and insured bartender or bar service. This ensures compliance with state regulations and provides a safe, professional experience for you and your guests.
Yes. We require couples to obtain day-of event liability insurance prior to their event. This is an affordable policy that protects both the client and the venue and is standard practice for event spaces.
Our starting rental fee includes access to the venue for your contracted time, event setup and cleanup, as well as use of our in-house tables and chairs. We also include venue staff onsite during your event to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Yes. The Mason House offers convenient street parking directly surrounding the building, as well as access to a public parking lot located immediately next to the venue. Both options are available for event guests, making arrival and departure easy and stress-free.
Our standard rental includes 10 hours of access to the venue. This typically covers setup, your ceremony and/or reception, and cleanup time. If additional time is needed, extra hours may be added at a rate of $250 per hour (subject to availability and advance approval). We recommend discussing your timeline with your planner or coordinator to determine if additional time would be beneficial for your event flow.
The nearest airport is Indianapolis International Airport (IND). The Mason House Event Center is approximately 45–60 minutes by car from the airport, depending on traffic. Guests may rent a car, use a rideshare service, or arrange private transportation. We are happy to provide hotel and transportation recommendations for out-of-town guests upon request.

We provide a wheelchair-accessible ramp at the main entrance to ensure ease of access to the venue.
