About this venue

Our barn is over 100 years old and we added on a new barn onto it. Together they can seat up to 200 people for a wedding reception. We have added beautiful bistro lighting so not a lot of additional decorating is needed. You have your choice of 4 different outdoor ceremony sites. A grain bin gazebo on a stamped cement pad with bistro lighting is available to be used as a ceremony site or the setting for cocktail hour / outdoor bar. The bridal party has the admissions barn to use for wedding prep and the room on the back of our new restroom building is where the groomsmen can get ready in.

The historic Bigelow covered bridge is just down the road and can also be used for photo opps.

    Everything was wonderful!

    From the moment we first contacted The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek, we were impressed by their patient, flexible, and informative communication style. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a unique and spacious layout that provided ample room for our wedding celebration. One of the standout moments was when the staff personally escorted my 91-year-old grandmother to the ceremony and back to the reception, ensuring she was comfortable and taken care of. They also recommended an excellent DJ. The kids (and adults!) had a wonderful time exploring the slides and taking the wagon ride over to the ceremony site. We are so grateful to the team at The MAiZE for helping make our special day truly unforgettable.

    Wedding reception

    We had our daughter's wedding there in June. It was a wonderful facility. Several people that attended the reception commented on how nice the Maize at Little Darby Creek facility and the property it is on was. The Rausch family was a pleasure to work with and met all of our needs. We would recommend The Maize at Little Darby Creek to anyone.

    Wedding Photographer

    Loved working with this venue, they were very professional & friendly! Even though it rained on the Bride's Wedding I was covering, this venue was very quick to adjust the space according to have the wedding indoors and assisted in keeping everything running smoothly. The bridal suite is very spacious, beautiful and had wonderful natural lighting for photos, even on a rainy day! Once the strom passed we stepped outside for sunset evening photo's & they turned out stunning!

    Wedding Venue- Was the perfect spot!

    The Rausch family was great to work with throughout the entire process, from the initial booking through cleaning up our big day. Hands-on and invested in making sure everything was set how we wanted it. It was nice having options on various outdoor ceremony sites to fit the style of our wedding. Unfortunately due to rain, we had to move our ceremony inside last minute and it turned out to be perfect even with max capacity number of guests! Overall great location, absolutely beautiful facility and nice people to work with!
