My husband and I could not have imagined a better wedding experience and we are so grateful we chose to have our special day at the beautiful Secret Garden! We got married on December 14, 2024 and it was the most beautiful day we could have imagined! We booked the venue over a year in advance and throughout the entire planning process, the entire team was so available and responsive. As the day approached, we met with our day-of coordination Laura and she was truly amazing!! She helped me create the day of my dreams and was very prompt in responding to any of our concerns. She helped bring our vision to life and I am so grateful!! The very inclusive experience at The Secret Garden was also so helpful. We ended up going through our own food vendor for BBQ for dinner, but everything else was seamless and really helped ease the wedding planning stress. The photography and videography team was so amazing and captured our day so beautifully. I still cry tears of joy looking at our pictures and videos from the special day! :') The DJ services provided were also amazing and we couldn't have been happier with DJ Jason Lyons! Overall, we could not be happier with our experience at The Secret Garden. It was worth every penny to marry my best friend at such a beautiful place surrounded by everyone we love!! :)

Bryce, My wedding day was perfect and amazing and I feel so blessed to have chosen Tijeras Creek for our October wedding this year. The day of the wedding was amazing. Everything ran smoothly and we know a large part of this was because of you and your hard work behind the scenes. You had promised our friends and family who needed help to get down to the ceremony would receive VIP treatment, and sure enough, they did! They all commented about the kindness and friendliness of the staff who escorted them in the carts. Please thank your staff for their wonderful attitudes and meeting the needs (and wants) of all the guests. I truly appreciate all you have done! It has been almost two months and we are still talking about the wonderful day. There is a sparkle in my eye when I talk about the magic of that day. It truly was a fairytale wedding and it was amazing. My husband said it was the best day ever!

The Jewel of Ortega is an absolute dream. From the minute the venue manager responded to our inquiry, we were over the moon about this place. It checked all our boxes for a retreat style wedding for our wedding party, parents and grandparents, in a nature-filled spot in Southern California but not difficult to get to, customizable to our vision and desires, and with an authentic and laid back team. Before we left our first venue visit we knew we would sign. The previous venue manager was very flexible with our requests and everyone we worked with on the approved vendor list was incredible and excited to go back to The Jewel, although we did appreciate that we had the option to choose others too. A month before the wedding, said manager left the venue and we were so nervous about how the transition to the new manager Sally and her team would go, especially as we were planning a DIY wedding from abroad and had only visited the venue twice. The handover was absolutely seamless and turned out better than we could have ever imagined - which is a testament to the ownership. Sally and her crew worked their tails off from start to finish that weekend and looped us into every decision in a productive manner. They stepped up big time when our wedding coordinator didn't deliver. They made all of our guests comfortable and we all felt like we were home for the weekend, which everyone complimented us on. It was just a pleasure to get to know them as people too, really. Before we even left the venue, we were coming up with reasons to come stay again. Thank you and we will be back!!

We looked all over OC for a place to have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception that was beautiful and aesthetically neutral. Irvine Marriott on Von Karmann exceeded our hopes and dreams. From the process they made simple and easy, to the mostly inclusive venue (you just need a few additional vendors), to our guests having affordable rooms on site to enhance the experience. We customized our day to fit our vision and the team (Niki, Michelle, Chef, Thomas, etc) was amazing at supporting us to have the perfect day! We enjoyed the beautiful venue, the delicious customized food, a large getting ready room fit for the Kardashian’s, the photo opportunities in some special spots (IYKYK), the cocktail reception, the service/coordination (finding a last minute sewing kit to fix a bridesmaid’s dress with reassuring smiles), the honeymoon suite… our wedding weekend was perfection (and our guests all agree)! I was the planner for my daughter's wedding at the Hyatt Newport. From start to finish, we were all thrilled with the coordination throughout by Hayley, the service staff the day of, and the venue. The ceremony in the Amphitheater was lovely, the cocktail hour followed there, and the dinner reception for 100 guests was in the Garden Patio. The Garden Patio was simply perfect. Trees and plants surrounded the area; lights were strung across the patio ... the space felt like a magical oasis all their own to enjoy with their friends and family. Simply beautiful. The firepit was an added bonus, enjoyed all evening with smores kits available for our guests at the end of the reception. Hyatt offered an amazing wedding package, just about everything we needed they were able to provide on-site, which made coordinating with one person for everything quite easy. Having the reception on site of where our guests could also stay was an added bonus as well. We even did the rehearsal luncheon on-site. It was truly a perfect space in Newport for guests to arrive and enjoy without having to drive. There were many great locations around the resort perfect for photos. Hayley was exceptional to work with. Communication was great. The food was amazing. The venue so beautiful. We can't say enough positive things about the Hyatt Newport and all who helped make their day so special. Our thanks to Hayley and her team.

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
Best venue in SoCal! As a catering company, we work at many different venues, and Fete the Venue is by far our favorite. It’s the best! We have catered for a variety of unique events there, and the ballroom transfers to whatever theme you can dream up. It’s a blank slate to work with, very light and airy, and the high ceilings give it a nice open look. It’s exciting to see how different the room looks each time we are there. The outside patio is a wonderful option for your guests to get a breath of fresh air, or set the theme for the event, and it is a beautiful ceremony site. Opening the roll-up doors make an awesome grand entrance for any event, especially a Wedding reception. It is on one level, so there are no stairs or elevators to deal with, and very convenient for the guests to park and enter easily. It’s very well maintained, and always clean. There is always staff on-site at every event, so there is never a problem that isn’t solved quickly, and everyone is such a pleasure to work with, especially Sarah. She is amazing! I would highly recommend Fete the Venue when planning any event to ensure that your day will be a success, leaving your guests with a smile and ready to return again soon! We had our wedding at Harborside Grand Ballroom, and I cannot recommend it enough! Indoor Venue with Stunning Views: One of the standout features of this venue is the breathtaking floor-to-ceiling windows. The view of the harbor is absolutely gorgeous, especially with the lighting around the windows. It made an unforgettable backdrop during both our ceremony and reception. Having an indoor venue put my mind at ease, no need to worry about the weather! Helpful and Professional Staff: The staff here went above and beyond to make our day as stress-free as possible. They were always available for questions and offered valuable suggestions when we needed them. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and you could tell they were genuinely invested in making our wedding perfect. Affordable Pricing: We were blown away by how reasonably priced Harborside Grand Ballroom is compared to other venues in the area, especially considering the stunning views and the level of service we received. They offer a range of packages to suit different budgets, and we felt like we got incredible value for what we paid. One Helpful Tip: Talk to the venue staff about parking solutions for the day of your wedding. Parking can be difficult depending on the season and it is good to have a plan for guests. This venue is straight out of Italy! Not only is this space incredibly unique, but the architecture is unlike anything you will see in California. From the Roman columns and fountains, to the hand-crafted gold ceilings, artwork, and millwork, the gorgeous staircases throughout, and massive space. The sheer beauty of this place is unmatched. The opportunities are also endless with how many different rooms and spaces there are within the venue itself. I had the honor of hosting my wedding here and it will forever be such a beautiful memory, due largely to the stunning and unique setting. We had our ceremony outdoors, surrounded by the columns and fountains, and the reception was indoors in the large upstairs ballroom. Both areas flowed perfectly with our theme, and all with incredible ease. I am already thinking of events to host here next! The Palazzo by Khoshbin is truly one of a kind.

The Den has such amazing communication. Tara, the owner, gets back to you right away, which is a refreshing change from the week-long response times at most venues. She is extremely friendly, kind, and goes above and beyond when it comes to accommodating, communicating, and providing clear instructions. The space is gorgeous and breathtaking - I have hosted a few events here and this is definitely my go-to venue. The detailed decor and immaculate cleanliness of the space keep me coming back every time. Tara also includes a vendor list of trustworthy professionals she works with, truly wanting your day to go smoothly. She is extremely accommodating and allows you to have a venue tour prior to booking. The rentals and decorations she already has inside make it a breeze to easily curate the perfect event without having to bring in too much yourself. I have been hosting events at this venue since the beginning of 2025, and Tara consistently exceeds my expectations. I can't imagine hosting my industry events anywhere else - we love The Den!

They offered a complimentary suite upgrade on the night of our wedding, as well as the night before. They honored all our various food preferences. Brian offered to have multiple meetings to discuss all of the details. When I was sick and had to miss the menu tasting, they put the whole selection in to-go containers and included tea and cough drops in the bag. They offered complimentary car service to the beach for our sunset photos. I could go on and on! I cannot recommend the Lido House more highly.

Just had our wedding here on 9/28/24 and wow where can I start??! From the beginning when we toured the venue, we had no idea what to expect considering this was one of the more relatively lower budget venues we were touring at. So imagine our surprise when we got there and saw this venue, which was even more gorgeous than the more expensive ones we looked at previously. Pictures don’t really do this place justice. The venue has a Spanish-colonial design which makes for a perfect backdrop for photos. The arches both outside and inside the building really makes it feel grand. The string lights in the courtyard are so pretty, both in the daylight and when they’re lit up at nighttime. The hills of rolling green grass in the background really give off that golf club aesthetic and all the palm trees around the venue really pop off and give California vibes. The view of the grassy lawn and palm trees I saw when I walked down the aisle was truly breathtaking and I’ll never forget this moment. But mostly, we were in such good hands with Michael as the director. He comes from tons of experience (over 2000 weddings) and really treats your special day with so much empathy and care. Him and Mayra helped us out in so many ways: -Set up our welcome table, seating chart display, and decorations with very little direction. I didn’t have time during rehearsal to let them know how and where to set it up, and when the wedding day came, everything was already set up so beautifully. -We didn’t know we had to ask for a mic from our DJ, so we didn’t have one, and Michael took care of that problem very quickly. -Michael walked me around the back entrance of the venue before I walked down the aisle, my pointy heels kept getting stuck in the ripped hole in my wedding dress and Michael helped me pull it out twice. -Mayra helped me change into my 2nd wedding dress when I wasn’t able to find my bridesmaids near me. -Michael swept up the fake money off the floor during reception, and also hand delivered us our signature drinks when we asked for them. -I requested a signature drink that they’ve never made before and Michael personally tried out a bunch of recipes and helped pick out the best one. Overall, Michael and Mayra put so much care and thought towards this special moment of our lives. With this venue, you get it all-the perfect coordinators and the most beautiful setting. Some other things to note-food was amazing, both cocktail hour and reception. The food was also plated and presented very well too. The only area of improvement would be that there is no bridal/groom suite. It wasn’t an issue for us since there is a fitting room on site. But in the future, it there is an opportunity, building a bridal/groom suite would improve the experience for others greatly.

Adina and the Event Set crew transformed the GMMA into a beautiful wedding site and experience. We picked them because the price was right and the views were beautiful. On the day of the event the flowers were more grand than we expected for our price point, the DJ was engaging, and the food was better than any wedding I’ve attended. They accommodated our Indo-Western wedding with great Indian and western food. We even had his and hers mocktails. The food was the most customizable experience we found on the market. And it was tasty max. Adina is respectful, caring and patient. Your photos will be amazing with the view and the flowers. Especially if you have Trisha as your photographer. She is a master of lighting and angles. She makes quick work of editing and getting the photos back to you. Overall a great experience, less stress, and an all inclusive experience with lots of personalization.
