Welcome. My name is Charles Kenneth Cruz and I’m a photographer. I grew up in the Los Angeles area. Prior military service brought me and kept me in San Diego, and I absolutely fell in love. I was gifted a camera back in high school and my thirst to understand photography has been forever growing. One day, I decided to tag along and help shoot a wedding for a friend one weekend. I'm standing near the alter, camera in hand, waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle. The guests all stand up and there she was, walking down the aisle crying the most joyful tears as she manages to continually look radiant in her beautiful wedding dress.

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.
