Our DJ was Ace, Sax Player Austin and singer Natalie. I booked 11 months in advance, had a phone meet and greet 6 weeks out and had several revisions to the itinerary as we got closer to the event. Any changes , questions or ideas I had were promptly acknowledged, answered and collaborated on which continually reassured me that Second Song took a personal interest in making our night one to remember. I also found out that Second Song is frequently hired by my employer, Providence Medical Center in Torrance, for their Foundation events.”

“The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exlusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. We had a fairly diverse crowd in terms of age, background, taste in music and their ability to please that wide range of people is a testament to their talent. THANK YOU TO THE HOOK CLUB !!!”

After the wedding, all of our guests were raving how awesome he was! He blended all of our requested genres. The transitions between genres and between songs were spot on! He had all of our guests up and dancing. Our wedding coordinator said he was very easy to work and communicate with. He was very organized and had all the equipment we needed. He also took care of the emcee duties and did an awesome job! He had an app we could use to upload all of our song requests. We found it very useful for organizing the songs we wanted played at each part of the night. He totally killed it and we could not imagine anyone doing better. 10/10. “Steve is an excellent DJ and MC! Right from the first call he was great with explaining the process and his services and he truly goes above and beyond. The communication and service as great throughout the process. He sent us a sample timeline for the wedding day which included all of the "special songs" required, and about how many songs we needed for each part of the day. We loved that we were able to provide specific songs for each part that really fit us and who we are. On our wedding day he showed up early and set up everything so that it blended seamlessly with the venue. Everything was played as requested and on time, and he went above and beyond introducing himself to the guests and letting them know other details - such as where to sign the guest book and the shuttle departure times.
