We got married at Chesapeake a couple of weeks ago and truly had the most incredible wedding day! We had our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, followed by a reception in the ballroom with about 160 guests, and every part of the day was perfect. The venue is so versatile, offering beautiful options rain or shine (which gave us such peace of mind). The Manor House was the perfect backdrop for photos, and the bridal suite was beautiful for all our getting-ready moments. There are so many gorgeous photo spots across the property—and a huge bonus: our guests had an absolute blast golfing on the course before the wedding! The staff was incredibly helpful in bringing our vision to life and made the planning process feel smooth and easy. We’d recommend Chesapeake to anyone—it was everything we hoped for and more! We chose this wedding venue for two main reasons, 1. Having everything in one location which made the day and planning 10x easier! 2. The Terrace. Our wedding day weather could not have been more perfect and guests were able to enjoy the terrace the entire evening. Monica was amazing to work with as was the rest of the staff. Food was delicious, we saw many clean plates while making our rounds. I loved that the spaces themselves were beautiful, so we really didn't need much decor and they had a lot we could borrow (e.g. arch, centerpieces, table numbers). Highly recommend!

We are so happy we went with Springton Manor for our wedding!! To start, the planning process was made so seamless and easy to manage with Kelly Tobin as the coordinator. Kelly is responsive, organized, and knowledgeable, and made a process that can be overwhelming, much more manageable. Next, we can’t say enough good things about Queen of Hearts catering! The food was delicious, and guests were coming up to us saying it was the best weddding food they’ve had. My husband and I both got the braised short rib and it was amazing. It was also presented beautifully, and staff were professional and timely. Additionally, Master’s Baker, who does the cake for Springton weddings, was pleasant to work with and made a delicious (and beautiful!) cake for our ceremony. They worked with us to get exactly the vision we were going for. Finally, the grounds and manor house are truly stunning and timeless. We wanted to lean more into the “classy garden party” vibe rather than farm/rustic, which was totally do-able. You can really make the venue what you want. The scenery around the outdoor tent at sunset was incredible. We were worried about it being too hot with it being an August wedding, but with the breeze up on the hill and fans- it felt completely comfortable. We also loved how cocktail hour was under the trees/open space behind the manor house. This separated the cocktail hour from reception, which was under the tent, naturally and seamlessly. Overall, we are so so happy with Springton Manor and could not have asked for a better wedding day! Thank you to everyone at Springton Manor who helped make it possible!

The house is wonderfully furnished thanks to Anne and her family who have a very good eye for detail. Her dad built a lot of the furniture himself. We love to sit outside either on the porch or by the fireplace at the creek. The gardens are beautifully kept and with the house as a background, it is the perfect place for a wedding. We love this place so much and will keep coming back.

She was super easy to communicate with and took so much time making sure everything was exactly how we wanted. We loved that they have packages that incorporate all of your wedding day needs. The packages included so many perks like our beautiful cake from The Master’s Bakery, use of their centerpieces and other decor, valet parking, cost check, etc. The day of was a dream, everything went off without a hitch. All the food was delicious, from cocktail hour to our end of the night pretzel and hoagie station, 10/10. The bar staff was great as well, with 200 people present there was never a long wait for drinks. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at Penn Oaks, and it was the perfect start to our wedding celebrations. Cannot recommend them enough!!
