I love serving all of Texas as a wedding and engagement photographer! I am an avid FRIENDS and Disney fan, lover of perfecting my favorite M&M Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe and engagement/wedding photographer! I have been a wedding photographer since 2015 when I was first asked by one of my college ultimate frisbee friends to take pictures at her wedding. It was love at first snap! The face behind Padre Ryan is me, Laura Schimmel, a Corpus Christi transplant from New England. I worked at Padre Ryan for 2 years as Director of Photography before taking on the ownership role in January of 2017. I love every moment of being a photographer, videographer and business owner. I love being out on the beach when I can, whether it's taking photos or just relaxing. I also just welcomed a baby girl into my life this past November! We couldn't be prouder and happier parents.
