The Queen of Hearts package was the one that best suited our needs, which included an engagement session as well. My husband and I decided that we would like to have our session at the river on his dad’s property and Christine was on board and filled with excitement from the start! Little did she know our session would involve a dog, canoe, boat, champagne, and a very awkward couple. With all of these props, obstacles, and survival taking pictures from a moving riverboat in the Ogeechee, Christine got us through our engagement session. We were instantly blown away after our pictures arrived within the timeframe given! Our wedding day quickly arrived and was exciting, fun, and busy right from the start. Christine had a photography schedule for us to follow and worked as hard as possible to keep all of us on track (which was a VERY challenging task in itself). After the ceremony, Christine recommended “golden hour” pictures while our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. We are a husband and wife, photo + video duo based in Michigan. We got married in May of 2019 and started capturing special moments in 2020. In 2023 we welcomed our miracle baby, Henry, after 18+ months of infertility. If there is one thing that becoming parents has taught us, it is how fast time truly flies and how important it is to freeze each moment, bringing even more meaning and passion to this little biz of ours. “I seriously don't even know where to begin. Picking a photographer was one of the most important aspects for my spouse and I, and we met with at least a dozen different people to find the perfect fit. Picking Courtney was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding process. Courtney brings a professional and calm atmosphere to your wedding day. Couples: please remember that you will be spending almost your entire day with the photographer! Courtney's vibe was amazing. I did not feel rushed, I didn't feel anxious. She helped me keep on the timeline we set, but also left a ton of room for us working on our own schedule as the day/timeline naturally shifted. I was running late for makeup, first looks, etc. and she just let it happen as it happened, which I really appreciated. I was able to enjoy what was happening rather than worrying about a timeline that really didn't matter much. But, I also got the impression that if the timeline did really matter, she would make sure it happened. She really did an amazing job of matching our energy and both my spouse and I said we would be friends with her outside of the wedding! She is truly so, so, so amazing professionally and personally. Now, the photos! We both were crying within minutes of looking at them, with huge smiles on our faces. She really perfectly captured the day, in the moments getting ready, the ceremony itself, and the moments immediately after. The posed formal portraits were as important to us as the actual events, and she nailed it all. We are obsessed with our gallery and have an impossible task of deciding which photos to print! She stuck to her delivery timeline and we got the sneak peaks on the first day of our honeymoon, truly perfect timing. If you have any doubts about hiring Courtney, don't. We met with a lot of people who did not have experience with couples who looked like us. With Courtney, we did not feel like guinea pigs or like she wanted to work with us just to expand her portfolio to have a queer, plus sized wedding in an art museum (we definitely got this vibe from other photographers). She is truly a gem that Ohio is lucky to have.”

Hey! Aaron and Becka here! We are wedding photographers based in the North Suburbs of Chicago. We have three kids; Judah (4), Jane (2), and Dan (6 months). Being parents is one of the sweetest gifts we have ever been given! When we aren't doing photography or ministry, we are either going for hikes as a family, playing music together, working on updating our 200 year old house, or hanging out with friends! We both love the shooting side of photography, but when it comes to the admin and post-creative, that's where Becka takes over! So, if you reach out, she will be the one chatting with ya!

“Becka and her team deserve 5/5 stars and all the love for how hard they worked with my husband and I throughout the pandemic.. Let’s go back all the way to the beginning of March 2020.. That’s where I met Becka for the first time.. (She met me in person, which I truly appreciated) right before well, COVID-19.. We were both a little hesitant of what was to come of this virus but it was SO early that neither one of us thought it would effect my wedding that was supposed to take place in the fall of that year.. Boy, were we in for a surprise.. Realizing in the summer that COVID-19 wasn’t going to go anywhere, we rescheduled our wedding for the following year. Unfortunately, Becka was already booked for the only day we could manage to reschedule our venue/church.. However, she saved the day by allowing her assistant photographers, Lauren & Michaela to take over… At first I was a bit nervous knowing Becka wasn’t going to be the one taking the wedding pictures (we loved our engagement photography session) but I trusted her, and I knew her standards were high so she wouldn’t just allow anyone to take the pictures under her name... And let’s just say, my husband and I were not disappointed! The assistant photographers did amazing, it even rained during the most crucial time of the wedding (in terms of photos) …The time after the ceremony! But despite this, the pictures came out absolutely stunning and our family/friends loved them.. All the details, all the unexpected “I didn’t know they captured that!” moments were there… Another thing I want to mention is the way Becka was able to help me schedule parts of the wedding and assist in the planning of when certain things are supposed to happen… As you can imagine, planning a wedding is stressful... Sometimes you don’t even know where to start! Becka helped me tackle this issue and streamline the day so it wouldn’t be as intimidating… With her schedule, I could now put together the pieces of the day and take a breath. Photos & logistics aside, everyone was also so sweet, patient and accommodating… So a big thank you to Becka, Lauren & Michaela for capturing our big day wonderfully. We will cherish these photos for a lifetime!”
