I’m Karly — a lover of up-north life, bonfires, camping nights, and long conversations with good friends. You’ll usually find me on coffee dates with my husband, being dragged down a hiking trail by my dogs, or chasing beautiful light wherever I can find it. I live for belly laughs, big loud families, and any excuse to gather people together and celebrate something meaningful.

As your photographer, I bring a documentary-meets-editorial approach — capturing real emotion, creative details, and candid moments while offering natural, confidence-boosting direction when you need it. I love a dramatic flash moment for portraits and the dance floor just as much as quiet, in-between memories. You’ll receive gorgeously detailed edits (yes, I remove distractions), a fast sneak preview, and thoughtful planning support every step of the way so your experience feels effortless and joyful.

Highly recommend. Was creative and imaginative with our photos and listened to our wishes on our vision for the day. She was quick to respond to my questions and concerns, as well as compassionate on my timing and schedule. Sent us sneak peeks quickly and I can’t wait to see the rest of our collection. As the bride I specifically asked for additional photos with each of my guests and she did such a great job at capturing those moments and pulling guests aside when appropriate. She knew what meant more to us than others, in terms of our vision of photos. Easy to work with. Understood the job. I could tell she is passionate about what she does and sets high expectations for herself and her work.

Yes, I edit every single image individually to ensure high quality. Edits are true to life color with minor adjustments that make your images pop. I also offer photoshop and retouching services like blemish removal or head swapping for an additional charge.

Sneak Peeks are available on the Tuesday after your wedding, usually about 50-75. My turnaround time varies by season. You’ll typically receive your full gallery online 4-8 weeks after your wedding. My contract states up to 12 weeks, I know that is a long time to wait when you are excited to relive your epic day. Wedding galleries are processed in order from when they were captured and I will always take my time to ensure that each image is the best possible quality.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my trusted colleagues or my contracted assistant. It is very important to me that your complete story is captured beautifully and that you have an amazing experience with me, that is why I always make sure that I have a great contingency plan. You deserve an above and beyond experience!

You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of photographing. Keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. For an 8 hour wedding day I typically deliver 500-700 images in color as well as black and white.

With Joy and authenticity! The key to looking natural in your pictures is to feel good in the moment. You'll be so busy enjoying each other that you may forget I'm even there! I consider the best angles to illustrate the story of your wedding day and work to capture everything in its best light. Family portraits take on a classic approach. Like the ones in your grandparents or parents wedding album, these will stand the test of time. They are traditional, gorgeous and a bit formal. The rest of the day is captured for story. Candid moments, stunning portraits and natural connections are my priority.
