Hey! I’m Maranda – your beach bum, planet-loving, marine biologist photographer! My heart lies in the sea and in photography. Based in Port St Joe, I serve the entirety of Florida and the entire country! I travel anywhere for your big day! Your memories are meant to be made in a fun and relaxed environment. That’s what I aim to create with you as I capture your milestone! You can expect a professional but fun experience that allows you to be yourself and enjoy your session or wedding. My goal is to provide you with quality images that reflect the important stage of life you’re in for a reasonable price.

Because I only take a select number of weddings per year, I am able to treat my clients like family. At any time, my clients are welcome to text or call me with any questions or concerns. I serve my clients exactly how I would expect to be served. Also, your entire gallery will be delivered in 30 days or less! Some businesses have a wait of 6-8 weeks. But not with me! I take a documentary style approach to the majority of the day. At formal portrait time, I take a fine art approach. Being adaptable throughout the day. When you book with me, we will have questionnaires and consult calls so I can serve you to the best of my ability.

    Maranda Palmer Photography was an excellent choice photographer. From the very beginning, Maranda's communication was quick and clear, which helped put us at ease during the planning process. Her work is highly valued - the photos she captured of our special day are absolutely stunning and perfectly encapsulate all the little moments we wanted to remember.     Amazing photographer!

    Maranda did an amazing job on our wedding pictures! She is just the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She has great timing on getting the pictures back to you as well as taking her time on editing them. She takes a bunch just in case there’s a lot that didn’t turn out well. Very creative in posing us. Overall, she did fantastic!Everyone has commented on how good they are. She’s amazing as well as a great person and a best friend!

    Maranda is an amazing photographer and all around great person to work with. She is even more thorough than I was for my wedding. I knew after giving her some pointers, I didn’t have to worry about the photography aspect anymore which took a huge load off! Highly recommend for any occasion for photos!

    One of the most professional and caring vendors.

    I’m another vendor who second shot with Maranda Palmer just a few months ago. I’ve been doing creative media for 8 years and own a full scale production company. I’ve seen lots of different Wedding Photographers in many different markets, Maranda really stands out though. She cares about the core experience she gives to her couples. Maranda focuses on the client-side experience above everything. She really takes the time to be intentional, and she prioritizes what really matters the most to her clients. If you’re looking for a photographer, Maranda is one of the most high-quality and caring vendors you’ll ever book. She’s absolutely one of the best people to have in your corner!

Your entire gallery will be completed within 30 days. You’ll get sneak peeks within a couple of days of the wedding. If you select an SD card or USB delivery as well, that may arrive a little bit later than 30 days because of the post office delivery times.
Yes! I serve the entirety of Florida’s Emerald Coast and beyond. I'm a travel wedding and elopement photographer, so I am willing to go anywhere to capture your big day!
25% of your total is due at booking and it is nonrefundable. If your wedding requires accommodations or airline fees for me, they will also be due at the time of booking.
Google photos. It is a free storage service that allows you to download and share your photos.
If you need to change the date of your wedding after booking, contact me immediately so I can ensure I’m free on the new date. If I’m not available for your new date, I’m happy to help you find new vendors. Your 25% initial payment is nonrefundable, though.
Sometimes venues or other locations may require a photographer fee. You are responsible for any shoot fees, entry fees, etc. that the location requires. If you would like me to pay these fees, tell me in advance and they will be added to your total.
The 25% of the total you paid at the time of booking will not be refunded. If you paid in full, 75% of your total will be refunded. Accommodations or flight fees may not be refunded or refunded in full if the companies do not let me or charge a cancellation fee.
I do not specialize in church wedding photography, so I recommend inquiring with other vendors if your special day will occur at a church.
Due to personal circumstances, I am not able to serve LGBTQ couples on their wedding day. I do wish everyone a lifetime of happiness!
