My husband and I hired her to take care of all the stress as we are in California and she is in Honolulu. We booked her and her team to do full coordination for our wedding in Kaneohe, Hawaii. It was one the best decisions we have ever made. We were married at the Paliku Garden at Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe, Hawaii on June 14, 2023. Almost three years since our wedding and I still cannot believe our dream wedding came to life. I am still on cloud 9 of how beautiful everything was and how smooth everything went. From the first time we spoke with Yanicke, we could tell she was someone who would get it done. I had called Kualoa Ranch to make sure I was able to book her because per the rule of booking Kualoa Ranch, you need a minimum of "day of coordinator". It pleased me to know that she had worked events on the ranch so she did not have to go through an interview process with them. What we loved the most about her is that she actively listened to our wants and our vision for our wedding. She always reassured us that she would work with our budget and not to worry. We would often text, do zoom meetings, and was always available to us. Yanicke made sure to be the contact person for every vendor and made things so easy for us. She gave us vendor options and I appreciated that because I still felt in charge of deciding who to book. The vendors she suggested were so awesome! Every vendor went above and beyond and I am so glad Yanicke had these connections. Our wedding looked amazing and all our guests loved everything about it. There were no issues with any. On the day of the rehearsal, Yanicke went over the setup and how everything was going to play out on the day of the wedding. On the wedding day, Yanicke came to our hotel to check on us and make sure we were up and ready to get the day started. I personally loved that about her because she was very attentive to us. When we arrived at the venue, everything was set to go. It looked so beautiful and dreamy, a dream come true. It looked so elegant and classy. I felt like I was in a dream that whole day because of how surreal it felt. Our wedding should have been featured in a magazine! Our wedding was over the top, in a great way, more than what we had expected. The vendors had surpassed our expectations. From the beginning of the wedding to the end, she was running the event smoothly. I hate planning and having her make sure we were on schedule was so great. The reception included a great buffet, beautiful floral arrangements, an awesome Polynesian performance (fire dancers, hula, the haka dance), a very detailed photographer, and a great DJ and emcee who knew how to get the guests excited. If I were to have another event in Hawaii, I would not hesitate to book Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii, LLC again because they made our wedding such a great experience. Definitely recommend to anyone having a destination wedding. She will provide you a list of her preferred vendors that she trusts and they go above and beyond. She will not disappoint. I guarantee! “Aloha! Eight years ago was a very special day. Our beautiful ceremony took place on Waialae Beach in Kahala. We chose the White Roses Package, which included two leis with red and white rosebuds, we stood in a heart shaped leafy ring and our wonderful singer David Asing played his ukulele serenading us with Hawaiian Wedding Song; Kuuipo. We also released beautiful white doves out into the Hawaiian sunshine. Our hair and makeup was arranged for at our hotel on the big day and, a limousine collected us also. A truly fabulous day thanks to Leah and her husband Mike, who also took our photos and videoed the ceremony. Leah lovingly came to our rescue, when we both had a slight malfunction with our dresses! Needle and thread at the ready phew! We highly recommend Hawaiian Eye Weddings. Mahalo nui ia ‘oe!”

One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the impeccable organization and coordination. Every element of our wedding, from the food vendor to the floral arrangements, was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. During the wedding day I didn't even have to think, Sandra and her team had everything outlined and prepared. There was a moment where we sat down at our Sweetheart table to start the main reception and I had a thought, "I need to head to the bar to get myself and wife a drink." Right at the end of that thought I had one of her staff deliver us our plates of dinner along and asked what drinks we wanted. Within what felt like seconds our cocktails magically appeared. I know it's small but at that moment we felt pretty darn spoiled and taken care of. Because Sandra and her team were so attentive it really allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our Big Day. Also big shout out to Sandra for helping us resolve a small family situation. We had a service drop off our Chinese Grandma (94 years old) but they dropped her off like 45 mins early at the venue while we were taking pictures elsewhere. Grandma was with a family member who doesn't speak Cantonese so they were both confused on what to do and where to go. Sandra rushed over to them and spoke to Grandma in Cantonese and handled the situation. That's the level of care you'll get from Finishing Touch. Thank you again Sandra and Team for making our day so memorable and smooth!”

She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. “Cassie and her team were absolutely incredible throughout our entire wedding planning process and on our wedding day on July 18th! From the start of working with Cassie about 3 months before our wedding, she was such a valuable resource. She joined vendor calls, answered countless questions, provided thoughtful guidance, and helped us navigate so many decisions along the way. Cassie always made us feel supported, informed, and confident that everything was coming together exactly as it should. When our wedding day arrived, I truly don’t know how we would have gotten through it without her. From the moment the day began, she was on top of every detail—keeping us on schedule, coordinating with vendors, and making sure everyone was exactly where they needed to be, exactly when they needed to be there. Cassie and her team also did an amazing job setting up all of the décor we brought. When I walked into the reception space for the first time, everything looked perfect. It was exactly how I would have envisioned and arranged it myself. The greatest part of working with Cassie, was that she allowed us to fully relax and be present on our wedding day. I never once had to worry about the logistics happening behind the scenes because I knew she had everything under control. “We’ve been raving about how our day felt like us. Zoe was such a big part of this. Throughout the event, Zoe was a constant calm and organized force. She nailed the tablescape and venue decor, going above and beyond with her attention to detail and creativity. I felt that she took the time to know exactly what we wanted. There were multiple moments where I felt she went above and beyond. I knew I could turn to her if I needed anything knowing that the event was in good hands as the evening progressed. Since we hired multiple vendors independently, the group needed organization and direction - Zoe was the guiding leader for our night. “Kalyna Black came on as our day-of coordinator less than 3 weeks before our wedding in June 2025. She quickly became so much more. With her tenacity, intuition, and gift for event planning, she transformed into our wedding planner, florist, space designer, and all-around lifesaver. She took a huge load off our shoulders, stepping in exactly when we needed it most. As the day got closer, her quick response time and clear communication helped everything fall into place smoothly. Her creative eye brought our vision to life—especially my dream of wildflowers, which she wove beautifully into the rest of the décor. The space felt like us, through and through.
