“I originally chose Holly for my photographer because we had a very specific theme for our wedding (Destiny the video game). It must have also been Destiny that she played the game and was familiar with the theme. Also, she was amazingly flexible and willing to work with our budget. Her correspondence with me was always quick and prompt. Even when it came to getting my professional pictures and sneak peaks all back, I was told it would be up to 2 months for return, but she had them back in only a week or two's time. Unfortunately, (as these things sometimes happen) Holly was not able to actually come do our photos due to getting extremely sick (which no one can help), so we had to have a stand in photographer named Justin. I know we (including herself) were all bummed she could not be there considering we were all excited and familiar with the theme. Despite not having Holly, Justin was still very nice to work with and did an amazing job. I did notice that the best pictures (of course) were the ones he had time to actually position and pose us for. I think my biggest regret was I wish I had had more time and funds to pay for more time for him to pose us and take these more less candid photos. I was sad to find that we missed out on getting individual photos of my daughters and all four of them on their own. Also there were no photos of my husband with his second oldest daughter which really upset her... But again, I don't blame the photographer for this. It really was chalked up to a lack of time. Also, one of my daughters changed into more comfortable clothes during dinner so that took away from us being able to get the nice pictures I had wanted. So I can't emphasize enough that I don't blame the photographers for this at all... It was just one of my biggest regrets on my part of the night. I again, wish I had built more time and been able to contribute more money to more pictures that could be done in this manner. I definitely recommend this team. They are so nice and do their best to check off all of the boxes that you want. They work with you and are quick and efficient with what they do.”

“Kaitlin is amazing to work with. As a photographer who has done weddings myself, I had high standards and specific requests that weeded out a lot of people during my search. Kaitlin immediately stood out to me as someone with the ability to capture the essence of a couple. As I browsed her galleries I felt like I knew the couples and their stories by the time I was done. My wife and I are very introverted, shy, and not used to being the center of attention — let alone in front of a camera. After consulting with Kaitlin it was even more clear that she was the perfect photographer for us. Kaitlin listened to our requests, asked us questions to get a better understanding of what sort of coverage we’d like, and checked in multiple times leading up to the wedding day to go over plans. On the day of, Kaitlin was incredible. She set her flash units up perfectly to give a beautiful sense of lighting to our indoor pictures. Kaitlin was quick and professional with our family formals without feeling like she was rushing anyone. We love our newlywed portraits, largely due to how natural it felt to work with her—again this was huge for us as two people who are a bit camera shy. Our reception photos are equally beautiful, she captured meaningful candid moments without feeling like she was standing between us and the moments happening around us. If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple. “I discovered Randall Garnick Photography back in Fall 2019 when my husband and I were newly engaged and checking out Elm Bank in Wellesley. While discussing services the venue offered, we happened upon a wedding album on a table in the meeting room. As we were flipping through the photos, I was drawn to how beautifully Randy was able to capture this couple in their element. There’s something truly magical about being able to capture candid moments. With what I previewed, I didn’t need to go online to read reviews for Randy to know that I wanted to book him for our wedding. With his warm and inviting personality, working with Randy was truly a delightful experience. We had our engagement photoshoot at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, literally a week before the world shut down during the 2020 pandemic. The museum was already shut down to the public, but the sculpture park remained open. Randy really took his time in finding spots in the park to take our shots. But what I loved most about his style and technique was that he didn’t tell us how to pose, as to not create heavily curated photos. Instead, he simply gave us suggestions or a general direction on what we could do, so we had the freedom to act as we pleased and knew Randy would find that perfect candid moment to capture. Our original wedding date was supposed to be in October 2020 but got postponed to October 2021, and Randy was responsive and accommodating to those changes. When our wedding day finally arrived, Randy and his assistant, Wayne, were on their A-game the entire day. They even catered to our silly request in taking photos of us eating our appetizers. Thanks to Randy and Wayne, our wedding day at Elm Bank lives forever through all the beautiful photos that were captured. I can not recommend him enough. Thank you again, Randy and Wayne!”

I’m Sam, a wedding photographer known for thoughtful details, images that feel effortless, and a calm presence. I’ve been photographing weddings across the U.S. since 2011. Most couples tell me they’re not comfortable in front of the camera, and that’s completely normal. I’m experienced at guiding people just enough to feel at ease. “My husband and I got engaged in 2023 and had planned for our wedding to be in July of 2025. For two years one of our biggest challenges was finding a photographer that was in our budget, that would still provide us with the perfect product we had invisioned in our minds. We had searched high and low finding MANY photographers that will say they can adjust their packages to fit our budget, and still somehow come up with a total of 4000 dollars. Then we found Sam. I was hesitant at first because I wanted a specific style I hadn’t seen in her galleries, a more sultry- whimsical- cinematic/ dramatic candid feel. However when I brought that up to Sam she had reassured me that her range of editorial styles and shooting styles was very large as she’s been doing this for YEARS, and had sent me some separate more recent shots she had taken to prove that. We had talked very in detail for days about the hours ineeded from her, pricing, I also explained she would be traveling (which is never a problem for Sam. She loves traveling! ) and we had made a very well customized package trimmed to fit my hours and budget. In the end I received ALL the pictures taken edited exactly how we wanted them. On the wedding day Sam did an amazing job of helping, taking charge of things, and making sure all of our needs were met. I swear she was half wedding planner half photographer. If I needed people to do something she made it happen if I needed people to start getting ready for pictures-she was on it. Her time management is absolutely insane and such a blessing to have on your wedding day. She had some of the best ideas I’ve ever heard when it came to certain poses I wanted accomplished or specific visions I had. She was energetic, hilarious, and made sure everyone had the best time taking these pictures. I couldn’t recommend Sam enough. She truly is a photography wizard and will have all of your wedding day dreams come true.”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jenn Plante Photography!!! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Jenn Plante Photography for our wedding, and I can honestly say she was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for! All our pictures were so vibrant, the bold colors popped in every photo, and all our pictures truly reflected the love and joy of our day! She doesn't take photos as a job, it is so evident, it is her passion and this translates into her beautiful pictures. “Working with Andrew/Instill Wonder was an amazing experience! We used Instill Wonder for two engagement shoots and for our wedding photography and I cannot recommend enough! Communication was on point and the photos turned out amazing. We are not great at taking photos but Andrew put us at ease and allowed us to be ourselves. Our wedding was multicultural and Andrew did a great job at capturing all of the various moments - both staged and candid. We never thought we would be able to get such amazing pictures within our budget - but Instill Wonder definitely delivered!”
