We love weddings - from start to finish, we are there for you to make sure we meet all your needs and to make beautiful photographs that will last a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
Thomson & Thomson Photography is a must! Emily and Mark were such a pleasure to work with. From the very first conversation, we knew that we were in good hands for our June wedding. We started working with T&T a year out and they guided us each step of the way. We definitely recommend adding an engagement shoot as this was a great way for us to figure out what poses we did or didn't like, and get to know each other before the big day. Our wedding planner also loved working with them! Their professionalism and industry knowledge is a huge benefit. On the day-of they were clear and organized and ensured that we got all of our requested shots. Emily & Mark's attention to detail and style timeless. We are SO beyond happy with the shots we received. They capture the day so perfectly! We did a first look so that we could enjoy the cocktail hour with our guests and this meant we also got some great shots of our guests. Our guests have said that looking at the photos throws them right back into the moment which is exactly what we hoped for. I couldn't recommend Thomson & Thomson enough. From start to finish, they were incredible.

SO happy with everything about this day and the great job Hayley and Daniel did. They truly captured the spirit of the event... from the formal pics to so many candids throughout the day and evening and everything in between. We were not going to get the video but in the end that was an exceptional add and so glad we did... both the short form and the long one... we watch them all the time. They are great memories of the day and cannot thank them enough!

Lindsey was absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end of the process! We learned about Lindsey through our friends, and as soon as we saw their photos, we knew we wanted to work with her. Lindsey is incredibly thoughtful and creative - in just a couple of conversations, she perfectly captured our energy and helped immensely with talking through planning, timeline, and design details to make sure our wedding looked and felt true to us. She was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, which really helped to decrease planning stress. Working with her at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day was such a joy, she did an amazing job making us feel calm, comfortable, and present while still providing that little amount of direction to make sure the photos were gorgeous. And they were perfect! Julian also worked with us on our wedding day, and also did an amazing job providing thoughtful direction and encouragement to get us incredible photos. The photos have the warm, romantic quality that led us to Lindsey in the first place. We will treasure these photos forever, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Lindsey to take them! Hands down the best Boston wedding photographer you could imagine!

Hello there new friend! My name is Jo and it is SO great to meet you! I am a wedding, elopement... and pretty much all things love- photographer based in the incredible city of Boston, Massachusetts! I'm a hopeless romantic at heart! And if there's one thing in this life that I absolutely adore, it's a GOOD love story. If I had to pick a second thing, it would be working with couples that are authentic, joyful, and unapologetically themselves. So as you can imagine, weddings and elopements are my absolute FAVORITE! Joining along on the happiest day of your life is a dream, and I adore all the moments I get to share with my couples!

Awarded Best of Zola
We can’t say enough amazing things about Jo! From the very beginning, Jo was everything we could have hoped for in a photographer—engaging, charismatic, fun, and so easygoing. She instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, we had the best time taking photos with her leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day! Jo captured every special moment leading up to our wedding, including our engagement shoot, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and the wedding day. All of our photos came out amazing. Every shot reflects the joy, love, and emotion of the day. She truly has a gift for capturing candid moments and the little details. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Jo—she played such an important role in our wedding experience, and we are so grateful to have had her as part of our journey. If you're looking for a photographer who is not only incredibly talented but also a joy to work with, look no further than Jo. We wholeheartedly recommend her!

Summer St Films is a Boston-based wedding photography and videography studio rooted in a cinematic documentary approach. We focus on real moments as they naturally unfold — the quiet anticipation, the in-between glances, the subtle gestures that often go unnoticed. Our work is less about directing and more about observing, allowing space for the day to move honestly. The goal is simple: to create images and films that feel timeless, atmospheric, and true to how it actually felt to be there.

Awarded Best of Zola
Weifan is incredible! We asked him to take our engagement pictures and those were perfect, so we asked him to take pictures from our elopement and the reception a few months after. They do such an amazing job. I'm so happy with the results that I've already made a book with my favorites. I really can't say enough good things about Weifan and his team. They really take the time to know the couple and I felt like Weifan wasn't taking taking generic pictures, but pictures that highlighted us and our love. He really does capture the magic of our love.

We chose to work with Aaron because he brings something different to the table. He doesn’t just capture the usual wedding photos of family members uncomfortably standing arm to arm with painfully forced smiles on. Instead, he carefully finds beautiful geometries in the buildings or light poking through a forgotten window. His photos are thoughtful, well-planned, and artistic. His subject and backgrounds blend together in a perfect unity that captures special moments in ways you didn’t think were possible. Aaron is incredibly easy to work with and will keep you laughing throughout the day. You won’t regret working with him.

Sasha Pedro Photography

Authentic moments and real love stories. Wedding photos that feel like you. For me, the most important part of your wedding day is that you enjoy it. I have 10+ years and 200+ weddings of experience, and I genuinely love my job. Queer/LGBTQ+ friendly - always.

Awarded Best of Zola
Sasha is AMAZING at what she does and worth every penny. You won't find a photographer more talented, organized, professional, kind, funny, and easy to work with. Throughout the entire process, Sasha was an excellent communicator. She did an incredible job setting expectations with us and ensuring we were all on the same page. Sasha provided helpful suggestions and feedback when planning the photos we wanted and ensured we were comfortable with any modifications. Your wedding day can be pretty hectic and, at times, overwhelming. Sasha was a rock star and an anchor point, keeping people calm, making folks laugh, and taking the wheel when needed to ensure everyone stayed on schedule and no important photos were missed. During the reception, she did an incredible job blending into the crowd and capturing countless candid moments between our families and guests. Given how many we knew Sasha was taking, we didn't expect to receive our photos quickly. Not only did we receive them ahead of when we expected, but we also got a preview of the final product not long after the wedding, and to say it blew our minds is an understatement. The final product was beyond anything my wife and I had hoped for. We printed piles of photos for family and friends, and everyone raved about how amazing they came out. We have nearly a dozen prints of various sizes hung around our house, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of Sasha's work. We recommended Sasha to two of my closest friends and she shot both of their weddings. Both couples were just as thrilled as my wife and me. Weddings can be incredibly stressful to plan. By hiring Sasha Pedro, you'll cross one of the most important items off your list, meet an incredible person, and relax knowing that you're in the best possible hands.

I'm not a stand-in-the-corner photographer. I love being welcomed in as part of the family. Most of all, I want to you be comfortable with me at your wedding so you can just enjoy your day. It’s just one less thing to worry about knowing that you have a friend there to capture all of the candid, emotional, hysterical and real moments that will happen throughout your day.

I first met Stephen when he was photographing my best friend’s wedding in the Fall of 2021 and immediately could tell how talented and detail oriented he was. When it came to look at vendors for my May 2023 wedding, I knew exactly who I wanted to work with. Stephen is always on the ball - from speedy communication, detailed shot lists, a great listener about what we were looking for - you name it, he’s a natural talent for his line of work. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for someone who truly knocks it out of the park every time, look no further than Whiting Photography!

Steve Nisotel Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Jamaica Plain, MA

I think there’s a real absence of authenticity in today’s world. Everywhere we look, people are polishing themselves into a perfect image for the internet. But that’s not where the beauty is. The beauty lives in the real moments — the big, loud, messy, emotional, human ones you can’t stage or script. That’s what I chase. Since 2016, I’ve been documenting weddings for couples who want to feel present, relaxed, and fully themselves. I gravitate toward the candid, the unplanned, the way a glance turns into laughter and a quiet moment becomes unforgettable.

Awarded Best of Zola
Steve was incredible to work with from start to finish! We had a very low-key and DIY elopement and he got us instantly. His manner in initial calls was warm and eager to learn about what we wanted and who we were as a couple, ongoing planning with him was always super clear, and on the day of he made us feel completely at-ease. His eye is incredible, and he not only managed to get very natural shots while working around every possible jogger on the esplanade but also was an absolute joy to work with.

She captured the real action and emotion of the day without ever feeling intrusive. We’ve gone back to the photos many times since, and each time they bring the day back in vivid detail. As someone who values authenticity and precision, I appreciate how Kayla delivered both. We’re very glad we chose her for our wedding.

We’re a full-time wedding photography and videography team passionate about capturing love stories and life’s most meaningful moments. My journey began back in high school, when I first discovered photography and fell in love with the idea of recording and sharing genuine emotions. One of the greatest joys for me is seeing people relive their happiest memories through the images we create.

My husband and I had Chance to do both our engagement and wedding photos — so professional and truly born for this. He knows every perfect angle and captures all the best moments naturally. He’s funny, easygoing, and always makes us laugh, which makes taking photos so comfortable and fun. He also made sure we took pictures with most of our guests and family, which we really appreciated. We look so natural in every photo! We’ll definitely continue to have him as our photographer for future family photos.

Nathan did our court wedding photos, and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. We had a big group with us, which can be a lot to manage, but he was incredibly patient and made sure everyone looked great in the shots. Despite the limitations of a courthouse setting, he came in with creative ideas that really made the photos stand out. He’s a perfectionist in the best way—very detail-oriented, professional, and easy to communicate with. He walked us through everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the whole shoot. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting it right, and it shows in the final pictures. Angelina Rose Photography

A Boston Wedding & Elopement Photographer The little moments can reveal so much "How do you want to spend your day?" It’s the question I ask every potential client, and almost always, the answer involves spending the day with the people who matter most. They want their photography to reflect their joy and the genuine emotions of the day. They seek artistry and authenticity, desiring a collection of images that speak to them on a fundamental level. They want to be present on their wedding day and they don’t have to perform for a photograph. I’m a documentary wedding photographer and that’s exactly what I do.

Awarded Best of Zola
As much as Angie's photos speak for themselves, I've got a word or two to say myself: This photographer is THE ONE to capture your big day! We were initially drawn to the natural yet electric feel of Angie's work. The joy of her subjects feels very real -- because it is. Angie is there to capture real joy and real beauty and real love, not to force it through posing or a trick of the light. Her passion is for people and for love itself, and that's what makes her work second to none! Like I wrote above: these stunning shots very much speak for themselves (and they say "joy," "love," "BLISS!" and everything else we experienced on our wedding day) But Angie's talent isn't the only reason to hire her. She is a kind professional with a calming presence and a "sixth sense" for when & where to capture the perfect shot. She's got an artist's eye, and sought out unique locations & lighting to make the most out of our photoshoot around the MASS MoCA campus. (Check out that silhouette of our profiles! A spontaneous idea of hers ;) ) While we were still in the planning stage, Angie took the time to regularly check in with us and prepare. Whenever we were on the phone with her, it felt like she was in the room with us! Her friendliness and passion came through in our conversations, and we felt relieved knowing that we wouldn't have to worry about how we might "get along" with our photographer on our wedding day. Once Angie arrived on the day-of, everything felt natural. Throughout the day & evening, we never felt "overwhelmed" by her presence, yet she was always there to snap the most animated moments. And not just our most animated moments -- the photos of our guests are so charged with emotion, we can hear & feel them! Our favorite part of going through our wedding album has been seeing the joy on our guests' faces, all captured by Angie. Whenever we want to relive that night -- or live a new part of it that we didn't get to see -- our experience and all of our guests' unique experiences are just a few clicks away. I knew her photos would be beautiful, but I didn't anticipate this....totally immersive quality. Each shot is like a portal straight back to the moment it captures. These photos are ALIVE, and we are so grateful! Thank you, Angie, for all of the perfect lil picture-portals 333

Born and raised in Maine, I dream of one day retiring there by the sea, like a real life Miss Rumphius. But until then, I live just outside of Boston with my husband and our three cats. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, but we waited more than a decade before saying our own vows. Sometimes (okay, often) I eat cake for breakfast, so you can always count on me to help taste test yours. If I'm not photographing people in love, I'm probably enjoying a glass (bottle) of champagne on the couch or planning my next adventure. I believe everything is better by the ocean and you should never wait to explore the world.

I was blown away by the images, and I'm sure you will be too!

I am a wedding & portrait photographer and event planner based out of The Berkshires, MA. As an avid traveller, and photographer for the better part of a decade, I am constantly in awe of the human existence, and how we connect. As a wedding photographer, I aim to capture your wedding moments as they unfold. For me, the beautiful part about weddings is the celebration of life, love, unscripted moments (and all that comes with it). In all of the happy tears, big laughs and tight hugs. It is my wish to not only see these beautiful memories in photographs, but truly see the people in them.

Seriously, look no further for your wedding / engagement photographer! Finding a photographer was one of our top priorities when we initially started looking for wedding vendors and we cannot sing Abigail's praises enough. After months of research, we ended up choosing Abigail for her professionalism, warmth and artistic eye and it was one of the best decisions we made. She is extremely talented and did an incredible job capturing portraits and candid moments during our Korean Paebek and our wedding ceremony. Every single person we have shown our gallery to raves about the pictures and I have already referred Abigail to a number of other engaged couples. She was sincerely a joy to work with, made me and my husband feel at ease and captured absolutely stunning photographs that we will cherish for decades to come.

New England wedding & lifestyle photographer. Boston based, available for travel. I’ve been obsessed with weddings and photography for my entire life, so naturally when I graduated from college I immediately started this business. I fell in love with it after the very first wedding I shot back in 2012 and every day I have to pinch myself because I truly LOVE my job. There is nothing I'd rather be doing than this!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Anne! From start to finish, she was absolutely incredible. Not only did we have the most perfect wedding day, but Anne captured it in a way that lets us relive every moment over and over again. Anne brought such a calming presence to the day and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. She captured every smile, every happy tear, every little moment in such a genuine way. We can’t recommend Anne highly enough, not just for weddings, but for any special event where you want genuine, beautifully captured memories to last a lifetime. Anne was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we can't wait to work with her again!

Hey – I am so glad you are here! I am a professional wedding photographer based in Boston and I LOVE MY JOB! I have an Irish Doodle named Brooklyn that keeps me busy when I’m not photographing couples. This is my 10th year in business with over 500 weddings and elopements photographed. I discovered my love of photographing couples while I was working at Apple (super nerd over here) and it's been my passion ever since. Although I am based in Boston, I do travel for destination weddings and elopements (I also plan them) so do not hesitate to reach out!

Erin is, without a doubt, the most incredible person and photographer we could have ever hoped to work with. From start to finish, she brought an energy and enthusiasm that lit up every moment of our wedding journey. Her attention to detail and her rare ability to capture raw emotion in her work set her apart in ways we never imagined. Every interaction with Erin felt like catching up with a lifelong friend. She approached every meeting, every question, and every detail with such genuine joy that it made the entire process truly incredible. Erin has an extraordinary gift for making you feel comfortable and at ease, and the results are nothing short of breathtaking. The photographs she delivered are timeless and beautifully capture the essence of our day. She didn't just take photos—she preserved moments, emotions, and memories that we’ll cherish forever. If you're looking for a photographer in Boston or beyond, look no further than Erin. She is truly the most genuine person we’ve ever met.

When I was a kid growing up in Michigan, I was always fooling around with my mom’s old manual cameras and capturing everything my friends and I did. I took traditional art classes in high school, but even then, I was merely creating paintings of the photos I had taken. I went on to study documentary photography at the Maryland Institute of Art and abroad at the University of Wales, where I won the Nikon Discovery Award Grand Prize and was named one of the 25 Under 25 Up-and-Coming American Photographers. When a friend asked me to assist at a wedding she was photographing, and my plans changed in an instant.

Gina is incredible and we are wholeheartedly thankful for her and so grateful she accepted to work with us! She is so kind, patient, thoughtful and understanding. She worked with us when we had to reschedule our wedding twice since 2020, the third time was the charm. Gina is a true professional and by far the best in her field. She met with us several times to help us put together our timeline, she listened to our needs and requests and went above and beyond to make sure all the special moments were captured. We had some traditional Eastern European ceremonies that Gina captured beautifully. When we saw our pictures, it was magical, we were transported back to our wedding day and we got to relive it again. Gina's attention to detail and natural eye for beautiful candid pictures came shining through and were able to see parts of the wedding we weren't even able to see on day of since..you know.. it's busy time for the bride and groom :D Gina also took incredible portraits of our family, and we will cherish those forever, we can't wait to get them developed and put them on our walls so we can show them off to our guests! We absolutely loved working with Gina and we would choose her again in a heartbeat for any other event!

I’m Mina, the photographer and friend behind the photos. I specialize in emotional, storytelling-driven wedding photography that captures the heart of your day with an artistic, calm presence. I’m passionate about preserving the beauty of real moments, and I approach every wedding with care, intention, and an eye for honest, timeless imagery.

Mina is absolutely amazing, the photos came out even more amazing than I could have imagined. She was incredibly easy to work with, she even gave us a preview of the photos on the day via small polaroid printer. The full gallery came back quick and we can tell each photos is carefully curated and it captured such a wonderful day for us. We can't recommend her enough, and we hope Mina the best in her future endeavors. We love you! - Grace & Jackson

Rebecca is a wedding photographer based in Boston, blending documentary storytelling with an editorial eye. She captures weddings in a way that feels natural, honest, and quietly cinematic. Her work is grounded in clean composition, authentic connection, and a refined aesthetic that favors substance over trends. Rebecca offers digital and film photography and works throughout New England and select destinations.

Rebecca is an amazing photographer and takes beautiful pictures. Everyone who saw our pictures has commented on the quality and elegance of the photos. She is friendly and punctual and organized which helped us stay on schedule. She is very professional, and very communicative about specific photo shots/ideas during pictures and very clear about specific poses and how to execute them so it looks flattering. I would recommend her to everyone as their wedding photographer or event photographer!

I became a wedding photographer to give you a sense relief that comes when you know you have a photographer that will be your ultimate hype person, be that person where you can always just be yourself in front of, and a person that will always look out for you on your big day. I want you to feel as if I am an extended friend throughout this process and trust me to capture who you truly are.

I can not say enough good things about Warren! Planning a wedding is so stressful and doing it during covid made it outright not a good time. Luckily we found Warren early in our planning process and he made us feel so secure about our photography decision. He was an excellent hype man throughout the whole planning process and especially on the big day. My bridal party loved working with him and had a blast taking photos. He truly makes you feel like family and takes great care to make you feel at ease through all of the awkward wedding poses. He captured our relationship in the most beautiful, romantic way. I have received endless compliments on my photos and I can’t wait to relive my day for so many years to come.
