Castle Unicorn is located on a 400-acre private estate in the Loess Hills of Iowa and is located only 20 minutes from downtown Omaha. The Alta House Event Center is a hidden gem conveniently located off I-80 and 37 minutes East of Des Moines. Conveniently located near several hotels within minutes of your venue for your guests, overnight accommodations are also available right on site. The Old 56, is a historic landmark barn that was built in 1907. We specialize in weddings by including an all inclusive price. Included in options is both an indoor and outdoor ceremony, a large reception area featuring tons of historic charm and visible rafters in the upper level of the barn. A separate bridal suite, grooms space, and an amazing large four bedroom farmhouse round out this ultimate wedding venue. You get all of these features from Thursday - Sunday for a relaxing wedding experience.

Rustic Creek is an old School Gym from the 1920’s repurposed into a dream venue. Accommodations up to 300 and climate controlled. Rustic Creek provides round tables for seating and rectangle tables for head table/food area. The biggest plus to Rustic Creek is all weddings are a 48 hour rental, so no rush to get your big day set up or cleaned up!

In 1972, 70-year-old Ben Vanderhook tore down old barns in Mahaska County and surrounding counties to create our beautiful barn, located a stone’s throw south of Oskaloosa, Iowa. The 3½ acre property includes a 147×46×60 Quonset hut barn, open fields as well as mature shade trees. Debbie’s Celebration Barn is one of the most extraordinary and romantic settings for a Midwest wedding or special event. The event space in the barn is spacious with many options for originality to fit your occasion. Both east and west ends of The Barn feature large double French doors which add to the charm as well as aid in cross ventilation on warmer summer evenings.

1969 was the last Presbyterian service. In 2012, artist Zack Jones purchased this 1873 church as a artist live/work space. Today the studio apartment is available for the wedding party and preparations. Art Church Weddings is located in a 1873 de-sanctified Church in Malvern, IA. and is a permanent gallery to oil painter Zack Jones. Better known as Art Church Iowa, this unique building is coming back to life with exhibits, concerts, and private events.

The former home of cook-your-own-steaks, Old Oaks Steak House, south of Milan, has been transformed into Old Oaks Winery. The rear of the property contains several acres of now-mature vineyards, which are producing the grapes for Old Oaks wine. Our vision has always been to bring a Napa feel back to the Midwest. Old Oaks Winery has a tasting room and event space for more than 200.
