Owned by Farmhouse Catering, Gatherings ensures a stress-free experience with exclusive in-house culinary services, bar execution, layout coordination, and full setup and teardown support.

Gatherings offers an inviting indoor hall highlighted by historic brick, sparkling chandeliers, and soft string lighting, customizable for ceremonies, dining, and dancing. The main hall connects to The Green Room, an exclusive private lounge featuring comfortable seating, a kitchenette, and full prep amenities. For outdoor vows, couples can utilize the nearby scenic FarmPond property, surrounded by weeping willows and serene waters. Fully climate-controlled with flexible floor plans, the venue includes full linen service, tableware, dynamic bar setups, and setup/teardown support.

Yes! One of the wonders of Iowa is experiencing the extremes of all seasons...maybe even within one week. Our climate-controlled space will keep you comfortable.
No, Gatherings is owned by Farmhouse Catering. Farmhouse Catering is the exclusive caterer at Gatherings. Our wide array of delicious menu items will leave your guests satisfied and stuffed! We make an exception for dessert, so long as your event includes the purchase of a meal.
Of course! All couples booked at Gatherings are invited to attend a complimentary tasting event.
We do not allow you to bring in your own alcohol and/or bartenders so as not to put our liquor license at risk. We have in-house beverage services, complete with different open & cash bar options, champagne/sparkling toasts, signature drinks, and more.
All events held at Gatherings require a completed contract and non-refundable deposit. Weddings - $1,000 deposit, other events - 50% down. The deposit will be applied towards your final invoice.
Yes! We have two sites. Our outdoor venue (FarmPond Inn) and inside at Gatherings ​
Certainly, though our space is so beautiful you might not need much! We do have a decor closet that you are welcome to use with no additional fee. ​
We do not allow the use of glitter (it lingers for months despite professional cleaning) and no nails in our brick. Real candles are allowed, so long as they are contained within a votive.
