About this venue

Located just north of Manchester Iowa, Windmill Hill is a rustic wedding and event venue, featuring multiple ceremony & reception areas, modern amenities, bridal suite, groom's room, an outdoor patio, multiple outdoor decks, and more! There is also a home on the property available to rent featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, and a large kitchen and dining room. This allows you to relax and celebrate for the entire weekend all in one place. It is conveniently located about 3 miles north of Manchester, just off highway 13. There are several florists, caterers, DJs, party bus services, and more in the surrounding areas. It is also located approximately 50 miles each from Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Dubuque.

There are several picturesque areas around the buildings, such as an old tractor on the West end of the building, benches, and rock gardens, for wedding photos and family pictures

Ceremonies may be held on either level of the barn, or outdoors, you get to choose what you would like. Plan an outdoor ceremony, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, just move it inside! We do provide full bar service, but do not provide catering or other vendor services. This allows you to choose your own, or choose from a list of vendors that we will provide you! What we do provide is a picturesque old barn and corncrib, as well as nice outdoor settings, that can be wonderfully decorated to your style and tastes.
