While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “Mike DJ'd my wedding in May 2023, and he is THE BEST. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Mike was very responsive, easy and fun to plan with, and great with communication leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, we didn't need to touch base with him because we were confident he had everything covered. We had some interesting song requests, specific timing for certain songs, etc., and Mike handled everything perfectly. He was the perfect MC to help facilitate the grand march, speeches, dances, and dinner, and he kept the party going all night! We highly, highly recommend Mike!”

“Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

He worked with us on song selection (there were a couple of songs we drew a blank on), helped fine-tune the schedule of events and worked with our photographer and venue to iron out the details and make sure they were all on the same page. We kept the song selection up to him as much as we could, providing some "dos" and "don't" and he did the rest. We got several comments on the music after the fact from both friends and family, so he managed to please both crowds. I'd highly recommend Jack to anyone.”
