Pittsburgh's Premier Solo Wedding Violinist! I'm a professional, award-winning violinist and composer with tons of wedding experience. Whether you wish for elegant classical music, toe-tapping fiddle tunes, or a favorite popular song, I can help you find that perfect sound! I offer high-end wedding sound at an affordable price. The instrument on which I perform is a gorgeous sounding violin made by MacArthur "genius" grant winner, Joseph Curtin. For outdoor weddings I use a Fishman SA330X Performance Audio System which provides terrific amplification without sacrificing the purity of acoustic violin.

As my reviews attest, my solo violin playing can rival any string quartet at a fraction of the cost.     Devin was the perfect touch for our outdoor ceremony. There are not adequate words to describe his musicianship and talent. He went out of his way to make sure that he played exactly what we wanted. Devin also played at our reception and asked our guests if they wanted to hear something specific. My Austrian side of the family asked him to play "Edelweiss," which he promptly began to play. I can not rate this musician high enough. He also played the music for our first dance, which he learned, recorded at different speeds, added bars to the recording, and again, went out of his way to deliver the greatest day of our lives. I highly recommend Devin, and if I ever need a violinist/fiddler again, Devin is the only person I am going to call. As far as professionalism goes, Devin arrived early, and had everything that he needed. He also gave us options for what effects we wanted to come from the speaker. He was quick to respond to emails and we never had any problems getting in touch with him. This musician is a real professional.

    Devin was absolutely wonderful when he played for my wedding in October 2018. Not only is he unbelievably talented, but he made the whole process very simple and easy for me (a very stressed bride!). He gave me a few options of songs I could use, and happily accepted my song ideas, as well. He worked so well with my church’s music director and figured out times they could practice together. All in all, Devin was kind, helpful, easy-going, relaxed, SO talented and truly made the music aspect of the wedding such a treat. I highly, highly recommend him.
