I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. From Min and Morten, to all the advisors that helped us, to all the staff who worked the venue for set up, the cooks, the servers, the bartenders, and not to mention how insanely good the food was - every single aspect of this place and the people there were truly magnificent. I was excited to marry the love of my life, sure, but after 16 years together I really viewed this as just a big party to celebrate with all the people in our lives. I expected and welcomed that view. To say it exceeded expectations is overwhelmingly unfair - it completely blew my mind how amazing the whole day was, honestly the whole weekend since there was also the rehearsal and breakfast the morning after, and I cannot express how grateful I am for how the whole experience turned out. I know I had loved the venue itself when we first visited, and that I thought the food was absolutely amazing during the food tasting, but it ended up being even more gorgeous on the day and the food for 150 people was still all so delicious that not one guest didn't mention at least one of the apps/ entree throughout the night and following day. One of my brides people who is quite the foodie snob keeps mentioning how juicy the chicken was. Seriously though, the food was just phenomenal. I never like cakes at weddings (they're always beautiful but don't taste good) and had planned on getting cake pops for my wedding, but at the food tasting I was just shocked at how amazing it was that I had to have that cake for the day. I would recommend this venue, and this staff, so whole heartedly. If any of the staff read this review, thank you all for making our special day one that will forever be a heartwarming memory.

Choosing to get married at Full Moon Resort was the BEST decision ever, as it made everything else about the wedding planning process so much easier. Given that we decided to forgo a wedding planner, my husband and I were looking for a venue that felt "all inclusive," where we did not have to outsource and juggle several vendors on the day of. That being said, FMR offered everything we could have asked for - an on-site ceremony location, a beautiful reception venue, on-site catering (with amazing food) with a staffed bar, an after party location, lodging for our guests, and so much more. Because of this, we did not have to include any additional vendors for our dream wedding to happen (aside from a photographer). FMR was so considerate and thoughtful every step of the way. They were in constant communication with us as a couple and made sure that we were aware of all of the behind the scenes planning going on (how hard they were working) without overwhelming us. The staff working with us on the day of our wedding made sure that everything went off without a hitch - we could not believe how smoothly the evening went. Even our guests were talking about how smooth things went. All of our loved ones were shocked at how stunning of an evening we had. The vibe of the venue felt so laid back, which allowed us to focus on being in the moment and enjoying time with our guests. We are currently trying to convince everyone engaged couple we know to consider getting married there - it was just that amazing! If you are looking for an easy, "all-inclusive" feeling venue that simplifies your hunt for vendors, this may just be the place for you.

We had our wedding at Vanderbilt Lakeside at the end of August and could not have imagined a better experience. From start to finish, working with Henrietta and Matt was truly seamless. Henrietta was responsive, organized, transparent, and made the planning process genuinely enjoyable. She also had many vendor recommendations that were incredibly helpful in bringing everything together. The venue is stunning and so versatile. We had 50 guests and highly recommend renting a tent for the deck if you're doing dinner outside. It really elevates the space and the flow of the reception. Our ceremony was in the yard, dinner on the deck, and dancing in the bar room, and it all flowed perfectly. The staff was amazing and made us feel like VIPs all night. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food, the service, and the beauty of the venue. We loved staying on-site with our dog while family and friends stayed in downtown Hudson, and we arranged a shuttle for easy transportation. Setup and cleanup were a breeze, thanks not only to the Vanderbilt Lakeside staff but also to our wedding coordinator, which made the whole experience even smoother. We loved every minute and couldn't recommend Vanderbilt Lakeside enough. I almost wish I could keep it a secret because of how special it felt. It was worth every penny, and was truly the perfect place for us to celebrate.
