Spruce Mountain Ranch was perfect for our 9/21/24 wedding! The staff was incredible during the planning and execution of our day! Brus Osborne was amazing to work with from our initial tour in 2022 all the way through our wedding day. Emily Wanderscheid was awesome the day of our event, so kind and helpful! The venue is so beautiful, most of our guests were from out of state and loved the venue. My husband and I truly had the best day of our lives and we are forever thankful for choosing and trusting Spruce Mountain Ranch with the most important day of our lives! We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Wrangler Ranch! My husband, family, and I all had such a great time—from start to finish, everything was smooth, joyful, and beautifully handled. Jordan was a dream to work with—professional, friendly, and made everything feel effortless. And the photos? They turned out stunning! We couldn’t be happier with how everything was captured. P.S. If you're interested, they also offer complimentary engagement or even boudoir sessions—and they’re just as amazing! - We did the engagement photos, and then I secretly went back for boudoirs!

River Fort Ranch

4.5

Greeley, CO
  • Up to 220 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $8,700

At River Fort Ranch, we believe your wedding should be as unforgettable and unique as your love story. That's why every event is completely customizable to bring your dream wedding to life. Nestled along the beautiful South Platte River, our 240-acre ranch offers stunning rustic and outdoor ceremony/reception spaces with onsite accommodations. For couples who prefer a blend of rustic elegance and modern luxury, our barn venue is an ideal setting—spacious, stylish, and intimate. For couples who cherish the beauty of nature, our outdoor wedding ceremony and reception sites are the perfect place to say "I do." Make your special day a wedding weekend by booking our onsite lodging for up to 36 guests. This option allows you to host your rehearsal dinner onsite, take your time setting up for the wedding, enjoy bridal/groom suites, and host family/friends from out of town. Unlike other venues, River Fort Ranch offers flexible event options without stringent rules or bar minimums.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic-chic setting
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Has a dance floor for celebration

Venue considerations

  • No built-in audiovisual options
  • Not for you if you're looking for a sleek and contemporary space
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
The Platte River Fort is an absolutely beautiful venue! We had our wedding there and I wouldn’t have wanted to get married anywhere else. We coordinated with Cindy and she was beyond helpful helping us book and getting everything ready for our big day. The only reason I wouldn’t give this place 5 stars is all of the hidden fees that were not mentioned or included in the package we booked. Long story short, you will all of a sudden find yourself paying them hourly after you have paid for a whole package and then some. The owners and management need to be more clear on every detail. And of course as many places and events are, the alcohol and bartenders are triple the amount. It would’ve been cheaper to hire a third party bartending vendor to come serve.

We had our wedding at The Ramble and stayed for multiple nights leading up to and after the special day. I have zero complaints about our whole stay, everything was perfect. The venue is stunning. The food and drinks were delicious. The rooms were very cute and comfortable. The staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful to us and our guests. They went out of their way multiple times to ensure our comfort and it was so appreciated. Leading up to the day, they were very communicative and so welcoming with each visit we made. Planning the wedding from out of state, they truly took so much pressure off our plate. Tessa and her team absolutely killed it, and it shows in how smoothly they are able to run an event. We’re so thankful they helped create a special day for us.

One thing to note is that long veils can catch on the deck, so keep that in mind. Overall, the quality of Evergreen Lake House's work and the value they provide is good. From helping us select vendors and providing lodging recommendations to helping us pull off a blindfolded rehearsal the morning of the wedding, she ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The setting is breathtaking, and the entire staff was wonderful. Our wedding day was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
