Coley Hall at The Liberty began as a run-down century old Tobacco Warehouse. After being purchased by Elkin native Cicely McCulloch, the space was transformed into a beautiful wedding venue. With an industrial feel, century-old exposed beams overhead, weathered wood, and distressed brick, it’s the definition of rustic elegance and can be tailor-made to fit any style. This stunning venue was born from The Historic Woolen Mills, a 19th-century textile mill located just one mile from Downtown Charlottesville. The structure is home to an open and airy event space, a craft microbrewery, an artisan-style restaurant, and both a coffee and wine shop. This premier venue is the culmination of efforts from talented visionaries that see limitless potential in the reinventing of spaces. This beautiful venue offers in-house catering overseen by Executive Chef Tucker Yoder. Spring House is a beautifully restored 1920s mansion, and we do feel it lends itself well to romantic celebrations. Rather than having set packages, we do prefer to work closely with our clients to tailor the event to fit their vision for the day. Spring House can be utilized in a variety of different ways, and we have hosted very intimate receptions for 12 guests, to weddings for 250. We host beautiful ceremonies on our outdoor terrace in every season.
