Located in the heart of downtown Gastonia, the Esquire Hotel, blends the historic charm of the South with today's most sought-after amenities and services. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it opened as a bank in 1918, and later became known as The Lawyers Building. A six-year renovation transformed the Classic Revival-style building into Gastonia's preferred luxury hotel, an architectural gem featuring 35 guest rooms and an all-day restaurant aptly named Barrister's. With several rentable event spaces, we have everything you need for a beautiful wedding.

Heist opened its doors in 2012, as Charlotte's only Craft Brewpub. Originally brewing on a 10HL German brewhouse, we expanded in 2017, adding 30 barrel production facility. Our original focus was on small-batch beer in the traditional Belgian and German style brews. In 2016, we found our stride, creating the original hazy IPA in North Carolina, CitraQuench'l. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to expand our portfolio, now ranging from hazy IPAs and pilsners to fruited sours and adjuncted stouts. We still make the occasional small batches, which are typically kept in house for pours at both our locations.

Situated on the edge of uptown in emerging North End Charlotte, Petty Thieves was conceived as an embrace of lost places and a rejection of modern ubiquity, on the keel of grassroots innovation and stubborn resilience, with an eclectic seasonal menu of traditional and cutting-edge ales and lagers in a taproom born from churches and libraries, and a few secrets, outfitted with overstuffed couches and rugs, and a shaded patio boasting some of the best uninterrupted skyline views. Rather than having set packages, we do prefer to work closely with our clients to tailor the event to fit their vision for the day. Spring House can be utilized in a variety of different ways, and we have hosted very intimate receptions for 12 guests, to weddings for 250. We host beautiful ceremonies on our outdoor terrace in every season.

Hunter House & Gardens is a beautifully restored Colonial Revival farmhouse. Built in 1913, the home is listed on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Register of Historic Places. The farmhouse estate sits on over 2+ acres of land, with one acre dedicated for parking, offering gracious settings for all types of events from large to small weddings, corporate gatherings, and bridal showers. With plantings of more than 200 trees since purchasing the property in 2017, the owners are committed to preserving the last remaining 2+ acres of what was once a vast 3,200-acre homesite/farmland. The gardens paint a magical setting located in and around the farmhouse estate. The garden offers the perfect place to hold a wedding or gathering in our 3,200 sq foot tent with a seating capacity of 300; tent sides and dance floor are also available.

This is what David Kelly and Ciaran Sheehan set out to accomplish when they built their first Rí Rá pub in Charlotte, NC in 1997. They set to work in Dublin to meticulously restore the unique Victorian bar in the middle of the Charlotte pub. Rí Rá is located in Charlotte's busy banking district. Since opening, it has become a favorite hot spot for downtown locals and visitors alike. The pub is unique in that it was built from an actual old pub in Ireland. It was first built in the early 1800s for the officer's mess in the Phoenix Park Barracks in Dublin.
