My name is McKenzie. I was born in Georgia, but have lived in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia for most of my life. I grew up loving weddings and being taught to celebrate love! I simply evolved into planning…making lists of everything needed for my own wedding and the weddings of friends. I had the privilege of working at a wedding venue where I learned from professionals regarding the details that are involved in coming alongside people to plan their special day! It was through this time that my passion for weddings had the chance to flourish! And that is why I decided to launch my own business planning weddings!

I have taken lessons from certified MAC artists. I furthered my education by completing bridal styling / updo courses from the Bridal Beauty Salon by Lati, hairstyling course with Stephanie Brinkoff from Hair and Makeup by Steph, Heather Chapman online styling education, Kristina Gasperas Hair and Makeup Academy, hairstyling courses by Renee Marie Bridal Hairstyling Academy, hairstyling training with global educator Andreeva Nata and completed The Chrysm Institute of Esthetics program.
