originally from a small city in tennessee, at a ripe age of 17, i started this passion i now get to call my job. a few years into it i started shooting weddings and had no idea where life was going to take me. i went on to shoot weddings in the south for 3 years until I realized that the south wasn't for me... so I moved to hawai'i! since the move, its been nothing short of incredible. from traveling across the world to shooting here on the island of oahu, i've loved every second!

In 2018 we gathered 60 of our friends and family in Costa Rica, rented a beachfront property, surfed by day and partied by night, and become officially husband-and-wife. That week remains the best week of our lives and taught us the value of investing in your wedding celebration. Now, after eight years of marriage and raising two kids together, we make films that help couples hold on to the feeling of that day — real, unforgettable, and always one-of-a-kind.

Now I combine everything I’ve learned towards wedding storytelling, giving an authentic, adventurous, emotional, and cinematic style to it. I specialize in Wedding & Elopement Videography in the Hawaiian Islands. I’m based on Maui, but available for worldwide travel.

Wise Elephant Hawaii LLC is Oahu-based photography and video production company owned by Fabio Cardoso. After majoring in film at Pratt Institute, receiving an MFA in acting from the Actor’s Studio at New School University in New York City, and working in theater and video production, Fabio and his wife Kristi moved to Honolulu in 2003. Shortly afterwards he began working in the wedding industry and later expanded his work to include commercials, non-profit, corporate and event videos.
