We are so grateful for everything Ashley and Nickie did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! From the very first conversation with our day-of coordinator, Ashley, we hit it off! It felt like talking to a friend we had known for years. As first-time wedding planners relying heavily on Google, we were nervous about the process, but Ashley guided us through everything, answered all our questions, and made time for us whenever we needed. On the day itself, she made everything run flawlessly, handled every detail behind the scenes, and even came prepared with a Tide pen when I had a stain on my dress! Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel completely at ease, and it honestly felt like she was part of our family. Loulu Palms was the venue of our dreams, with breathtaking ocean views, lush greenery, and a serene, romantic atmosphere that created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Nickie, our venue contact, was wonderful to work with—kind, accommodating, and so attentive to every detail. Everything came together seamlessly, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how stunning the space was! We couldn’t imagine a more beautiful venue or a more caring, capable coordinator to bring our wedding vision to life. Ashley and Nickie truly made our day magical, and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

We got married at Sunset Ranch in September 2025, and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery, sweeping views, and a peaceful, romantic atmosphere. Every part of the property felt intentional and special, from the ceremony at Fern’s Garden to cocktail hour at Sunset Vista and the reception at Charlie’s Pond. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible team behind it all. Ronda and the entire Sunset Ranch Ohana were amazing to work with. They were kind, organized, and so genuine in making sure everything went smoothly. We felt supported throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day itself, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful and seamless everything was. It was the perfect mix of natural beauty and thoughtful coordination. We are forever grateful to Sunset Ranch for giving us the most magical day of our lives. If you are getting married in Hawaii, this is the place!

Hosting our wedding here exceeded our expectations in every possible way. I truly and honestly cannot recommend this venue enough. Big Island Last Resort is exactly the elevated, mystical, lush backyard wedding venue you've been looking for. It is an expansive yet intimate space that provides the perfect backdrop for a luxurious, natural vibe. You should have your wedding here!!! The owner property managers were also incredibly accommodating, communicative, and so easy to work with. Everything went so smoothly at every part of the planning process. And then they really made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed both during our stay and on our wedding day. The property managers, Jesse Madeline, are so incredibly kind and gracious and extended the warmest hospitality to us and our families. Truly a pleasure to interact with!! The houses themselves were recently renovated and you can tell from when you first walk in that no expense was spared. There are legitimate high-end finishes throughout the entire house -- floors, countertops, couches, tables, chairs, appliances, artwork -- everything is high-quality and expensive. But at the same time, the houses invoke a sense of home and tranquility, with a lot of natural materials and local aspects incorporated. It was just so pleasant to be in that space. The backyards of the 2 houses were also the perfect space for a wedding. It really feels like they were designed to have weddings there (maybe they were? lol). We had around 50 people and there was an abundance of space. We had the ceremony underneath this really amazing banyan tree in the larger yard (aptly called Banyan Yard). We then had cocktail hour in the smaller yard (Mango Yard), before moving back to the Banyan Yard for dinner, drinks, and dancing. There was more than enough space in the yard for food tables, a bar, dj, a dance floor, a couple of lounge areas with chairs/couches, and also seating for 50 people to eat. (And you could definitely comfortably fit more people). Having the two separate yards also created a really nice flow to the whole evening - it was nice to have the separation of spaces for different parts of the wedding. You won't find a space that comes close to offering what this space does. It really is the perfect backdrop to create a magical and unique environment. You're surrounded by lush vegetation and so much beautiful nature. I'm not sure we found any other venue on the Big Island that would have created an experience like we had at Big Island Last Resort. I have infinite good things to say about this venue, so I'll stop here lol. Seriously just book this place, you 100% will not regret it.

Our wedding at the Hawaii Polo Club was perfection! My husband and I booked this venue prior to seeing in person as this was a destination wedding. We were married on the beach and even though the heavy rains washed out some of the sand I hardly noticed on the day of and not at all in our pictures. Even though they do not have a space to get ready in, the clubhouse worked perfectly for me to get my dress on and take getting ready pictures with all of my 7 bridesmaids and mother in the clubhouse. Sugako, our day of coordinator was amazing and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. She was very communicative throughout the planning and any time I had questions or needed help deciding on something she was there to help guide and give suggestions. Jamie was our bartender and was so friendly and helpful. My husband and I as well as our guests were captivated by the natural beauty of the Hawaii Polo Club. Overall 10/10 for our experience with the venue and their recommended vendors.
