    Wonderful venue, wonderful to work with

    We had our anniversary party at Wild Blue Waters and we could not have imagined a better venue to have our party at! Shawn and Blaze are just the kindest people and they are so accommodating and understanding. We had the best experience working with them and will continue to book their venue for our party every year! Shawn went above and beyond to be available to us the whole entire weekend to help us with various things and he was a total lifesaver quite a few times! The venue itself is a true gem not often found on Hawai'i Island. There was room for a huge tent and dance floor, along with several other smaller tents. We had about 250 people at our party and there was room for everyone to camp who wanted to, with plenty of room left over. We also rented out the house which was a perfect landing spot for us during all the festivities. The ocean view is spectacular and can't be beat! The hot tub and pool really took our event to the next level! It was SO nice to have two showers and a flushing toilet as well. We seriously do not have any complaints about Wild Blue Waters, we will recommend them to everyone over and over again!

They worked closely with us to bring our wedding vision to life, and the results were absolutely stunning. The venue itself was a true oasis - a secluded paradise with breathtaking views that set the tone for our entire celebration. The spacious layout allowed our guests to feel relaxed and fully immersed in the romantic atmosphere, and the beautiful natural scenery provided the perfect backdrop for our photos. Wild Blue Waters elevated every detail of our special day, allowing our vision to come to life even better than we could have imagined. Absolutely! We must simply make sure that safety and insurance measures are met first, with attention to the following: Service remains safe and responsible You follow all State of Hawaiʻi and Hawaiʻi County rules If your event includes bartending service, we recommend using an insured, professional bartender (and we may require it depending on guest count)
Yes! We have on-site parking and we’ll give you a simple arrival plan so guests roll in easily and you stay in that “main character” energy all day.
We’re a natural oceanfront venue, so some areas can include uneven ground (Hawaiʻi is beautifully wild like that). That said, we love supporting accessibility needs — share what you’re looking for (mobility support, seating placement, restroom access), and we’ll help you plan the most comfortable setup possible.
Your starting rental fee is all about exclusive, private luxury — meaning it’s just you and your people in a setting that feels completely yours. We keep dates limited and the venue fully reserved for you, so: The retainer/deposit is non-refundable (it locks your date) Other refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel and whether we can rebook We’ll provide everything in writing up front — clear, professional, no surprises.
Most guests fly into Hilo International Airport (ITO) (Approximately 30-40 minutes away). From there it’s a scenic drive, and once you book we send an easy-to-follow guide with exact directions, timing tips, and local favorites (because yes, we want this to feel like a whole experience).
Yes. It’s easy and usually inexpensive. It’s a simple way to protect your day (and your peace). We will provide a link where you can customize it with guest counts, alcohol service, or vendor setups.
Peak season is the “Hawaiʻi is showing off” season — typically May–August and mid-December through early January. Think: glowing sunsets, dreamy travel energy, and dates that disappear fast.
Off-peak is the hidden-gem season — typically September–mid-December (excluding holiday weeks) and January–April. You’ll often get more flexibility, fewer crowds on the island, and that “we found this magical place” feeling turned all the way up.
