We booked George to capture our wedding day at an outdoor venue in northern MA. As a photographer myself I have high standards when it comes to photos, so I was very selective when making my choice. But I'm happy to report that we made a great choice with George as his work is top notch. Before the wedding we had 2 phone calls to plan out the many scenes we'd want him to capture. We also shared some light guidance on editing style, which he happily incorporated. On the day of the wedding George arrived promptly (early even, which was good) despite the fact he was driving many hours from CT. George did a great job making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. He seemed very experienced as throughout the day he seamlessly transitioned from the foreground to the background as needed. He was never in the way, but always nearby and ready to jump in and capture whatever was happening. He also captured a variety of types of shots, from the wide, establishing shots to the perfectly composed closeups of intimate moments - with lots of extra detail shots and plenty of candids too. For the ceremony in particular, he displayed his great eye and quick reaction time to document every moment and every angle, including crowd reactions. He came well prepared too with 2 Sony mirrorless cameras and a large off-camera flash to ensure even lighting. From our 8-hour shoot he provided over 1,400 fully edited photos (each 61MP) via a Google Drive download link. We were extremely please with the quality and speed of our portfolio (fully delivered within 2 weeks). On top of that, George happily provided me with the full edited portfolio in TIFF file format, per my request. The file sizes are much larger so I gave him a 512GB USB drive which he loaded and shipped back to me. I really can't say enough good things about George. So just book him now and I know you'll be pleased with the results!

You've probably read a handful of AI written bio's by now, and I'm sorry. I'm Chris, and I think connections matter in this business. It's literally my job to capture emotional and physical connections, right? RIGHT. With 10+ years photographing weddings from Alaska to Mexico to Maine, I've learned that there are no algorithms that can replace winning over the MOB so she's your biggest fan the rest of the day. These types of connections are the difference between awkward moments and capturing heartfelt interactions the rest of the day. Trust matters. Confidence matters. Reliability matters.

Awarded Best of Zola
Chris was amazing to work with. From start to finish, the first phone chat really demonstrated his interest and passion and ability to make us feel comfortable, the wedding day was great and I felt like he captured so many amazing moments while also being able to take lots of candids while we danced and enjoyed ourselves, and the photos we received were amazing. I’ve gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the photos are and how talented our photographer was.

The day after your wedding, will you remember the groom's reaction when he sees his bride for the first time, the emotion on dad's face when he gives his daughter away, the tears that come when vows are said, the laughter during the best man speech, or grandma getting down on the dance floor? You have spent so much time planning for your wedding day and it goes by in a blink of an eye. That's why it is so important to professionally capture the day via photography and content.

NH Images Photography Content was an excellent choice for our wedding photography. From the start, their communication was knowledgeable, efficient, and very understanding of our needs. Visit my Instagram for contact info and more photography! — ErinWholleyPhotography • Weddings are a culmination of love, life, happiness, family history, commitment, art, and so much more. My love for photography and the importance it plays in remembering cherished moments spans decades. Photographs are one of the only tangible items you receive after your wedding day (aside from the memories) to help you relive this time for the rest of your days. I will hype you up all day long to make sure you are enjoying every aspect of your day with your partner— that’s truly what it’s all about!

My Husband and I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about Erin. She's based in Massachusetts, where we're from, and we brought her all the way to Cabo with us for our destination wedding — and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. Not only did she capture our engagement photos beautifully, but she also went above and beyond for our entire wedding week in Cabo. Erin was so much more than just our photographer — she became part of our wedding party. She hung out with us for multiple days, captured everything from our welcome party to our wedding day, and even took extra photos afterward that we hadn’t even asked for. She has this incredibly warm, down-to-earth energy that made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. So many of our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about her — they all said she truly enhanced the experience and felt like family by the end of the trip. All of our photos are absolutely fantastic. Just a couple of days after the wedding, while we were still on our honeymoon, Erin sent us 300 sneak peeks! She curated them in a way that told the story of the entire day from start to finish — it felt like we were reliving it all over again, and we loved reminiscing together while still soaking in the newly wed bliss. And when we received our full wedding gallery? Nearly 3,000 photos — every single one captured with care, emotion, and such an eye for detail. It’s insane in the best way possible, and we truly cannot wait to make our album. If you’re considering working with Erin — do it. She’s not only ridiculously talented, but also someone who will bring so much heart and joy to your wedding experience. We’re so grateful we found her!

Sadowski Photography

I'm Marc Sadowski, a New England wedding photographer with 20+ years of experience capturing weddings across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, and beyond. My approach is candid and documentary — I stay back, watch, and wait for the moments that happen when you forget the camera is there. I learned photography as a photojournalist, where you get one shot or you miss it forever. That instinct drives everything I do on your wedding day.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Marc! When we were interested in booking him, he recommended we have a call first to discuss our vision for our wedding and the logistics we knew of so far. After we booked, we had another call the month of the wedding to go over all of our details. He left no question unanswered and was able to make sure we incorporated everything we wanted for photos into our wedding. Day of our wedding, Marc could not have done a better job capturing our first look, family photos, portraits, ceremony, and reception. He led us through a series of poses that felt natural and had us both at ease the entire time. We relied on his expertise for backgrounds and overall vision of the photos, and he exceeded our expectations. He was great with our friends and families, and captured any photos throughout the night that we requested. He went above and beyond getting the photos back to us in a timely manner. I can’t recommend enough hiring Marc for your wedding or event!

My husband and I had some trepidation around choosing a photographer for our elopement, mainly because we really wanted any photos taken to reflect the two of us, and our relationship, authentically. We wanted intimate, personal, simple, and classic...and we found all of these things in Tessa. Tessa always put our vision at the forefront of her work, and she worked with us every step of the planning process to make our elopement seamless. She suggested venues, worked with our busy schedules to coordinate planning meetings, and even served as our officiant. Throughout it all, she was the perfect balance of honesty, warmth, and professionalism, and we would work with her again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Tessa, for everything. You are amazing!

Available for MICRO-WEDDINGS & ELOPEMENTS only: I’m a Virginia transplant who makes her home north of Boston! I’m obsessed with the diversity and energy of the city, but also with how easy it is to escape to nature in New England. As an introvert, I definitely need both! I’m married to a handsome fellow creative (of the wordsmithing and storytelling variety) and we love our homebody life together. I’m a photographer because I think people are fascinating. Because memories are fleeting. Because we all need some beauty around us to help us remember how incredibly blessed we are to be alive.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I got legally married a year before our wedding (thanks COVID) and we were both concerned that our photos were going to reflect that we had done this all before. They didn't. Lorna managed to capture the retake of our special day - we love our photos so much.

Hi, I'm Jess! I'm a wedding photographer who loves capturing real love stories. My style is relaxed, joyful, and focused on those unscripted moments that make your day unique. Let's create timeless photos together!

I am so glad my husband and I found Jess for our wedding day photographer! She was amazing to work with from the start, she was always quick to reply and even was willing to meet with us in person before our wedding to get to know each other! Despite our rainy outdoor beach wedding, Jess remained calm and professional, and kept everyone on track, and didn't let the weather ruin her enthusiasm for taking our photos that we will cherish forever! We look forward to working with Jess again in the future!

I’m a photographer for people who don’t resonate with traditional wedding photography. For those who want their weddings to be told like a story that features every bear hug, belly laugh, stolen glance, spilled drink, booty shake, and happy tear. For those who prioritize genuine and unscripted moments over trends and shot lists. For those who don’t want to feel like they’re wasting their day posing for the camera. For those who are inspired by the past and hopeful for the future. For those looking to create a little bit of future nostalgia.

Prose Florals was sooo lucky to have worked weddings with Caroline. Not only is she the sweetest, her work is just incredible. She captured our florals for a wedding at the Rockfor Art Museum in September of 2022 and we still can't stop looking at them. From her photos we have gotten SOOO many compliments on the floral work we did for the wedding. Her talent is unmatched.

Terri Unger Photography

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been lucky to make it my life’s work for decades. I specialize in capturing people in their environments, the connections between them, and the small moments that reveal their humanity. Weddings are a favorite because they’re full of real joy, love, and the moments that make life feel alive. My approach blends a documentary eye with a fine art perspective, creating images that feel honest, thoughtful, and true to the people I photograph.

Terri was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. We booked her just one week before our wedding day. Regardless, Terri was prompt and professional in her communication. On the day, Terri guided us through the various shots, capturing the day, the scene, and our outfits with stunning color and light. She put us at ease despite our camera shyness. One of our favorite photos was an unplanned shot of us on my motorcycle as we passed it on the street. Upon seeing it, we instantly knew that it would be the one we frame to capture the day. We were thrilled with her work capturing our elopement and highly recommend Terri.

Hi there! I’m Alexandria, a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in the Boston area. I’ve been in love with storytelling through photos since I picked up my first camera at just eight years old. My goal is simple: to create timeless, authentic images that reflect the joy, love, and little in-between moments that make your day uniquely yours. Before I turned my focus to weddings, I built my career photographing red carpets and editorials for Popstar! and Cosplay Culture Magazine, where I had the chance to work with artists like One Direction, Bella Thorne, and Stephen Baldwin.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we first reached out to AKM Photography, their communication was consistently friendly and professional. On the day of our wedding, they were an absolute pleasure to work with - so personable and helpful in capturing all the special moments. The photos they delivered were truly beautiful and magical, perfectly reflecting the joy and love of our special day. It was clear that AKM Photography was genuinely invested in making our wedding experience amazing. They even understood the video game references we incorporated, which just solidified that we had found the perfect photographer to document our unique celebration. We couldn't be happier with the memories AKM Photography helped create for us.

My work is vibrant, moment-driven, and authentic. I love focusing on your connection as a couple, what makes you and your wedding unique, and your interactions with family and friends as you celebrate together. My approach to wedding photography leans toward a documentary or photojournalistic style with a fine art element (I graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in studio art). While I might suggest an area with great lighting to stand in, I will never ask you to “pretend” to do anything. Ever.

We met Danielle at an LGBTQ wedding expo while searching for photographer that had experience photographing two dress weddings, a niche market we quickly figured out, and immediately fell in love. Her photos capture the moment and never feel overly posed, which won over my camera shy wife immediately. We did our engagement shoot on the streets of Salem and Danielle managed to capture the love we have for each other and made simple store fronts look like a Christmas wonderland without making the shoot feel like work. By the time we got to our wedding day, we had absolutely no concerns about her ability to capture the day as a single shooter and she definitely didn’t disappoint! She created the most perfect first look so we could take a moment together before the ceremony began, melted into the background and got a million candid photos of our night, set up the PERFECT photo flash dance to get some silly photos of our friend groups, and corralled our blended families for gorgeous group shots.

We had to reschedule our engagement session a few times due to the pandemic but Nicole was super accommodating and understanding through it all. She even helped us with our location research and we ended up with some of the most breathtaking golden hour pictures I have ever witnessed like my goshhh. We were also so so grateful to have her during our wedding - an intimate backyard wedding in western MA. She drove all the way from Boston and captured a piece of 2020 for us that we hold so dearly: our eternal love that we shared with all the people we care about. Hi, Mark Here! I love telling stories with photographs and photographing a packed dance floor. For the last 17 years, I've been a documentary wedding photographer. Since then, I have developed a method and approach that enables me to document weddings that keep the day stress-free for you. My laid-back personality makes people feel at ease. This lets me catch honest moments showing how special it is when family and friends celebrate you. If you want your wedding photos to be stress-free, unscripted, authentic, and love a dance party, we should chat!

Five stars simply isn’t enough!!! Our experience with Mark was everything I could have hoped for and more. My husband and I chose to not make our wedding day about posing, re-posing, making sure we got the right shot, etc. We wanted to remember our day in film and photographs that actually captured the million little moments. We wanted art we can look back on and feel what we felt on our wedding day. That is why we chose Mark. Somehow, he was everywhere he needed to be, but never in the way, never taking over, never overstepping. He is kind, accommodating, easy to communicate with, amazing to work with. I cannot recommend him enough!!!

Brilliant Lens Photography

  • Serves Hathorne, MA

Photography has been part of my life since 2009, long before it became my profession in 2015. My background is rooted in fine art, where I learned to slow down, observe, and pay attention to the subtle details most people pass by, the way light shifts, the space between moments, the emotion that lives in quiet gestures. That perspective naturally led me to wedding photography. Rather than staging every moment, I approach weddings as living stories, unfolding in real time.

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who captures the day without making it feel like a photoshoot, Jason is truly exceptional. From the moment he arrived, he was incredibly professional and thoughtful, but what stood out most was how discreet he was. It never felt like he was in the way or orchestrating moments that should have been natural. Because of that, my husband and I were able to fully be present and soak in our wedding day—and somehow he still captured every meaningful moment. I’m Indian and my husband is not, and Jason beautifully captured both the cultural intricacies of the day and the genuine emotions behind them. Looking through our photos, it’s amazing how many moments he caught that we didn’t even realize were happening at the time. We also received our photos sooner than expected, which was such a pleasant surprise. And the quality is absolutely stunning. The memories he captured, the quality and his eye are priceless. If you’re considering him for your wedding, do it. You’ll be so grateful you did.

Hello my dears- I'm Connie. Through many years, I’ve devoted myself not just to image-making, but to discovering what makes a life beautiful: the simplicity of slowness; the quiet intimacy of touching a loved one’s face as sleep arrives. I’m drawn to kindness, feeling terrified but moving through to the other side, dancing alone in public, covered in sunlight. My work is shaped by watching how others love, by giving more than feels comfortable, by laughter so deep it brings tears. I try to see without judgment. To stay curious. To exist, as much as possible, with joy inside this fleeting, incredible moment we’re in right now.

I’m so grateful my husband and I had the opportunity to work with Connie for our wedding this winter. She is an absolute delight — professional, thoughtful, easy to work with, and truly exceptional at what she does. During our search process, it was important to me that we find someone we felt genuinely comfortable with. From the beginning, Connie made us feel at ease. She brings a calm, warm presence that makes you forget there’s a camera in the room, which shows in the photos. And the photography! Connie has a remarkable talent for capturing the small, magical moments of intimacy and connection — between family members, friends, and throughout the celebration — as well as the overall feeling of the day. Shortly after the wedding, Connie shared a highlights video, and my husband and I were blown away. The quality, artistry, and emotion she captured felt like true craft. Your wedding won’t feel like “just another event” to her, which feels very rare. We’re so happy we found Studio Atticus and could not recommend Connie more strongly. You will not be disappointed!

When I received my own wedding photos, I hoped to relive the magic—but instead, I felt something was missing. That experience became my “why”: no couple should ever feel that gap. Today, I photograph weddings and families in Greater Boston with a relaxed, genuine approach so you can be fully present. My goal is to give you timeless images that capture the magic and emotion of your story, letting you feel it all over again.

We can’t say enough good things about our photographer! She was absolutely amazing on our wedding day — calm, organized, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We were blown away by how quickly she sent over our sneak peek photos (and they’re STUNNING). Every shot perfectly captured the joy and emotion of the day. Jim has truly become such a great friend in this process. The biggest thing you want to feel on your wedding day is comfort and support. Jim goes out of his way to make this happen. We first met and worked with Jim for our engagement photos. We had so much fun! Jim wasn't afraid of getting in the sand and water to get our pictures in the ocean. When our wedding was postponed, Jim was there to shoot our elopement (and keep the secret)! After waiting for eight months, we finally had our wedding. Even though it was raining, Jim captured every moment of our amazing day. We will be working with Jim for all of our photography needs in the future. Thank you, Jim!

Hi! I'm Amanda! I am a lover of color and light, whose portraits are full of genuine emotion and life. I am a documentary style wedding photographer, and I very much enjoy capturing all the little in between moments as much as I do the big moments of your day. I want you to be able to look through your album and see the moments you may have missed while you were saying I do- your sister getting a little misty while you take your vows, your aunt taking shots with your besties. I want you to see the love you share with your partner reflected in your gallery.

I haven’t even seen all my photos yet, but I don’t need to, to write this. Amanda is the absolute best. Obviously her photos are stunning but she’s so much more than that. They day of the wedding she is everything, acts as a second coordinator, keeping the time, making sure we have everything (flowers, the rings, literally everything) and in my delusion not having prepared any umbrellas, she had extra cute white ones. She even was the one to put my veil on when my bridesmaids disappeared into the venue. Her calm demeanor creates such a sense of security. We truly would’ve been lost without her. It’s pretty much just a bonus that her photos are insane.

Alyse Grimm is the creator behind Things to do in Salem [dot] com. In addition to working in tourism in Salem, MA she is also a wedding photographer with 200+ weddings of experience and her work has been published on major wedding platforms. Her knowledge of the north shore combined with her experience makes her a natural fit for your north shore wedding. Alyse's style is photojournalistic with an eye for small details. She is less fond of posed photos. Alyse is open to travel but is giving priority to weddings on the North Shore of MA and to weddings that are non traditional/showcase the individuality of the couple.

Alyse worked with my fiancé and I for our engagement shoot at Beacon Hill. Since we are from out of town (NY) and the shoot took place at the height of Covid, this required some strategic planning on both ends. Alyse was so kind and flexible to work with. She assured us that even if last minute changes due to Covid had to happen, she would work with us. I was very stressed with the entire situation, but Alyse’s calm, reassuring personality put my mind at ease. She has many great ideas, but also listens to your vision and is open to doing shots that you like. We loved the way she captured who we are as a couple, in a place that is special to us. We received many compliments on our save the date cards which featured the photos from our shoot. If you are looking for a photographer who is easygoing, open minded, and knows the MA area well, then Alyse is your girl!
