Joy des Fleurs
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $500
  • Serves Hamlet, NC
  • Offer

I discovered my passion for floral design nine years ago while creating the arrangements for my sister’s wedding. That joyful experience inspired me to launch my own floral design and decor business, Joy des Fleurs. Since then, I have designed for a wide variety of occasions, with a special focus on weddings.

From the moment I met with Carrie at Joy des Fleurs, I knew I was in good hands. She was a thorough and creative communicator, listening closely to my vision for the retirement party flowers and offering thoughtful, beautiful ideas to bring it to life. The flower arrangements she created for our retirement party tables were the perfect complement to the theme, adding a vibrant pop of color that set the tone for the party. Carrie's professionalism and visionary approach made the process seamless, and the end result was breathtaking - the floral designs were creative, thoughtful, and truly elevated the entire celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better florist to be a part of our special day.

You will have time to connect and build a relationship with me and I who will be there with you during your wedding day. Although I am not your typical neighborhood florist, my prices are still average but I create luxury with my skills. Minimal investment for full service wedding start from $5000 A-la-carte service minimum investment start from $500 I will be glad to make your wedding beautiful and magical!

Awarded Best of Zola
Sofya is the best—& I mean, the actual best. I’m a huge stickler for flowers, truly the pickiest person when it came to them. There are plenty of high end florists that will do the same stereotypical floral designs. But not Sofya. I looked long & hard at many florists before picking her and I could not be happier. Not only does she have the best eye for design, but also, she has high standards for the quality of flowers she chooses. Her work was truly beautiful and better than I could have ever imagined. She really does pay such close attention to detail to make your look perfect. I cannot say better things about her, or her work.

At Kevin Lear on Main we are committed to creating bespoke arrangements that complement your wedding style. With attention to detail and creativity, we will help transform your vision into reality. Specializing in luxury weddings and sophisticated corporate events, our approach combines artistry, precision, and a passion for storytelling. Every arrangement is tailored to your unique vision, making each moment extraordinary.

Working with Chris Hodge at Kevin Lear on Main was one of the best parts of our wedding planning process. From our very first meeting, I felt heard. Chris made sure he understood my vision and respected every non-negotiable I had, but he also brought his incredible talent and creativity to the table. I trusted him completely and I’m so glad I did. I have to say, my bouquet was one of the highlights of the entire day. We had talked about adding greenery to help it stand out against my dress, but in the end, we kept it all white and it was perfect. Elegant, soft, and exactly what I didn’t even know I needed. I’m absolutely in love with how it turned out. Chris was not only talented, he was genuinely excited for me throughout the process. That joy, paired with his artistry and care, made every floral element unforgettable. From the bouquets to the arrangements, it was all breathtaking. Just look at the photos! If you’re thinking of working with Chris, do it. He made my day more beautiful than I ever imagined.

I recently hosted a large baby shower. Elizabeth was wonderful to work with! She was great to help me focus on a look and style for the party. We decided on several low table arrangements full of white hydrangeas, pink roses, gorgeous white dahlias and other pink flowers too. She created a corsage and a beautiful complimentary large welcome table arrangement. I received so many compliments on the flowers! Everyone wanted to take an arrangement home. I really enjoyed working with Elizabeth. She was kind, punctual and her prices were reasonable. I have since recommended her work to several friends and every one of them has been very glad they chose Elizabeth. I will definitely continue giving Elizabeth and Petals my business!

  • Serves Hamlet, NC

Something Borrowed Blooms is the premier rent-and-return floral and décor company in the U.S., offering beautifully curated premium silk floral collections. Couples who choose to rent typically save up to 70% compared to the cost of traditional fresh flowers. Our collections include everything you need for your wedding day, from bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to boutonnieres, garlands, centerpieces, aisle markers, cake flowers, swags, flower combs and crowns, wedding décor, and more. Each design is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive, elevated look from ceremony to reception.

Awarded Best of Zola
Something Borrowed Blooms provided the florals for our wedding and their service was expert, clear, and concise, though lacked any personal touch. The quality of their work was great - the florals looked beautiful, especially from a distance, and they were competitively priced. However, their shipping turnaround time was awful, with the flowers due back just 2 days after the wedding. This is more of a business than a vendor, so don't expect a lot of personalized care. While I ordered more florals than I ended up needing, it was worth it to have the full, lush look I was going for on our special day.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Hamlet, NC

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
Use The Faux Bouquets! I know there are a lot of options out there for faux florals, but this company really stands out. Absolutely gorgeous selections. We chose one of the more basic options because of our color scheme but there were so many more stunning, fun and colorful options out there as well! We used them for the bouquets and boutonnieres and it made life so easy. No need to worry about the flowers staying alive or getting water stains on your dresses. We had everything in bins ready to go before wedding day. Great pricing. The bouquets are so full and you can see the thought that goes into choosing the colors, type, and placement of each flower. The company communication is quick, kind, informative, and they are just all around amazing!

Awarded Best of Zola
Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Pickup was a breeze and all of the flowers were so gosh darn gorgeous. Initially, it was Leah and my fiancé who coordinated ideas for our venue (so extra props to Leah for helping my husband understand florals and knowing how to interpret his ideas of what I wanted). Leah was thankfully in our budget and we had the best time collaborating with her. Leah PERFECTLY brought my ideas to life and made them even better. Leah truly went above and beyond for my wedding and I truly cannot express how grateful I was and still am for her. Not only did she finesse the wedding of my dreams, she showed up for me as a pillar of calm and reassurance on multiple occasions. J+M Event Co
Rating: 4.8 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Hamlet, NC

Founded by Jordan Taylor and MKayla Summerlin,J+M Event Co. is a team of experienced creatives dedicated to crafting weddings and events that are elevated, thoughtful, and flawlessly executed. From planning to design, every element is curated to align with your vision and style. Based in Charlotte, NC, we serve couples throughout North and South Carolina, as well as destination weddings worldwide.

I connected with J&M about 4-5 months out from the wedding through my wedding coordinator. They had some pics of past work, not much that was really my style, so I was nervous about that but they assured me they could customize anything to my taste. Since they didn’t have what I was looking for they said they would order what I wanted. The problem started when to secure my date they required I sign a contract for a specific number/type of center pieces (charging a set price/centerpiece) before I had my venue booked. I ended up needing to change the numbers we had agreed on when I finally booked my venue because we had estimated for the contract since I didn’t know how many of each table size/shape the venue would have. J &M did not want to let me change the numbers on the contract (which we had both agreed at the time we came up with them were only estimates) and only did so once my wedding coordinator contacted them about it. They also were not able to give me any pictures of what my center pieces would look like at any point before the wedding which was a little scary as a bride who likes to have everything planned out well ahead of time. The centerpieces and decorations ended up looking great the day of the wedding, but the whole process was more stressful than I would have preferred. Their communication was mainly through email and often they would not reply for over 24 hours, which was frustrating if we needed to have a 2-4 email exchange about something because it could take days to resolve a simple question. Their pricing is very competitive in the market and the work they did ended up looking amazing, but overall working with them added a lot of stress to my planning process. They also did my bouquets and decorated the arch I provided and those two aspects came out looking wonderful as well. I would recommend them if you are super chill and don’t care to be involved in any details and have your venue booked by the time you contact them.

Petrichor Floral Design
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Hamlet, NC

I have always loved weddings. My earliest memories consist of creating weddings for my dolls and stuffed animals. I love flowers. They're beautiful, unique, fun, whimsical... any adjective it can be. Each flower is so unique and has a story to tell just like each person. They're present for some of the most important moments of our lives and a beautiful reminder to savor the moment. Petrichor Floral Design's desire is to create your floral vision for any and all of these special moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
Petrichor Floral Design was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding! From the very first interaction, Michelle's communication was clear, responsive to our needs, and highly organized. She listened closely to our vision for an elegant but vibrant color palette and brought it to life with beautiful, whimsical floral designs that were even better than the inspiration photos I shared from Pinterest! We were in a bind 6 weeks before our wedding, planning from out-of-state and frantically searching for a new florist after being ghosted by someone who pocketed our deposit. I am SO happy that we found Michelle at Petrichor. She was sympathetic to our situation and quick to pull together a fresh floral plan that fit our timeline and remaining budget. Her advice helped us choose high-impact arrangements, and we never felt coerced to spend more than we wanted on flowers we didn't need. The end result was stunning - our guests (and folks online) are still raving about the flowers two months later! Michelle's creative vision, affordable pricing, and dedication to making our floral arrangements feel as fun and beautiful as our relationship made her a gem to work with. I can't recommend Petrichor Floral Design enough - if you're planning a wedding in the Columbia, SC area, you need to book with Petrichor TODAY.
