Kaitlin listened to our requests, asked us questions to get a better understanding of what sort of coverage we’d like, and checked in multiple times leading up to the wedding day to go over plans.
On the day of, Kaitlin was incredible. She set her flash units up perfectly to give a beautiful sense of lighting to our indoor pictures. Kaitlin was quick and professional with our family formals without feeling like she was rushing anyone. We love our newlywed portraits, largely due to how natural it felt to work with her—again this was huge for us as two people who are a bit camera shy. Our reception photos are equally beautiful, she captured meaningful candid moments without feeling like she was standing between us and the moments happening around us.
If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple.
At no point did we feel like Kaitlin was commandeering our schedule to check off boxes on a shot-list. She was seamlessly integrated everything. Genuinely, I cannot recommend Kaitlin enough. Working with her is like having a best friend there take your wedding photos.”
