The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “If you're on the fence about your wedding DJ, stop looking and book Jacob from District Remix. From the first time we met Jacob, we knew we were on the same wavelength. He immediately understood the atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the night, from a vibey dinner reception to an absolutely packed dance floor. He's incredibly professional, easy to work with, and genuinely knows his music. Jacob met with us several times leading up to the wedding and was always open to our ideas. We gave him a list of songs and different genres we loved, and he took it to another level by creating an incredible "Power Hour" set. He seamlessly mixed our songs with others that perfectly matched the vibe, keeping each song to around 90 seconds or less so the energy never dropped. I can honestly say there wasn't a single moment during that set where I wanted to leave the dance floor. Every transition kept people engaged, and the dance floor stayed packed. Beyond the music, Jacob was excellent on the microphone. He was professional, clear, and never overbearing. He knew exactly when to step in and when to let the music do the work. Looking back on our wedding, hiring Jacob was hands down the best money we spent on any of our vendors. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. “I've known Uriah for 7 years and in that time, I've never seen him late for a gig, or unprepared to perform when he got there. He has a unique ability to both be the star of a performance and uplift others within it. He has a comprehensive understanding of what music moves people. He can improvise on a theme at will. Of the talents listed, one that I've personally witnessed is his ability to learn new music. I once saw him listen to a verse he did not know. By the second verse, he was playing it. By the third verse, he was singing it. In my opinion, Uriah's talent and professionalism surpasses most of the famous talent of our day.”

“We had a wonderful experience working with the team at 3 West! During our initial call with Matt, the owner, it was clear that they offer an impressive selection of entertainment options that can be customized to any wedding or event. Matt was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. For our DJ, we selected Steve S., and I’m so glad we did! As a self-proclaimed “Type B Bride,” I didn’t have all of my song selections finalized until the last minute. Steve handled this like a true professional, offering suggestions and a backup plan for any songs we may have missed. This made the days leading up to the wedding much less stressful, and I felt confident that everything would run smoothly. For the reception, I gave Steve a few songs and ultimately left the rest up to him—and he absolutely nailed it! He put together an amazing mix that spoke to my millennial heart, he even included the perfect amount of Hamilton and Latin hits. He also did a fantastic job transitioning between songs and different parts of the evening. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! Steve was professional, attentive, and so easy to work with. He played a huge part in making our reception fun and memorable, and we would absolutely recommend 3 West and Steve for any wedding or event!”

“First and foremost we’d like to say Desmond is like family to us. We hired Desmond for our wedding in August 2025. One thing that must be pointed out is how committed he is to playing his role in any event, he had a whole tv trailer to make things so much more convenient as a traveling DJ/ entertainment. He did an amazing job executing our song requests and making a dope mix including all our or favorite genres and artists and keep the party going. In addition, Desmond was very attentive and hands on during our wedding, he made it his mission to meat everyone on the team and get to know family. We love love loved having him as our Dj and would t change a thing about it. We highly recommend hiring him and we promise you won’t regret it. Trust we will be partnering up again if the opportunity presents itself in the near future. We were absolutely blessed to have an amazing team for our special day. 100/10!”
