Established in 1977, Matterhorn has become one of Elkhart’s most treasured and long-standing venues. The expansive building features three separate banquet halls, all of which can be combined to accommodate larger gatherings. The East Room is the venue’s smallest space and provides a cozy setting for up to 80 people. The helpful staff can easily join the East, Oak, and West Rooms into a combination that best suits the desired needs and capacity. Located on the corner of Ridge and Plain streets in La Porte, Indiana, the La Porte Civic Auditorium is a highlight of the City of La Porte and the La Porte Park and Recreation Department. This beautiful, regal building was a gift to the City of La Porte from a local philanthropist, Maurice Fox of the Fox Woolen Mills, in honor of his parents.
