“We chose Kindred because they were close to our venue, they were budget friendly for us, and their portfolio was lovely with shots and lighting we really liked. We got lucky that they were available for our wedding even though we were planning a bit more last minute than most (4 months)! We had Ben for our wedding. He was kind and relaxed, lovely to chat and work with on the day and he took some beautiful shots for us. He has a good eye for finding spots with nice lighting especially with sun coming through the trees outside. They over delivered on the quantity of professional edits and captured some really lovely moments. We love so many of the photos he shot and had a hard time deciding which to print as there was a lot to choose from. Overall, definitely recommend Kindred for your wedding! One thing we wish was better was responsiveness and communication. We had a difficult time getting ahold of and making plans ahead of the wedding to talk through the day of details which led to a bit of anxiety and we wish there was more of an opportunity to get specific about the group shots and who was captured in candids since we had such a short window of time with them.”

Not only is she fanTASTIC at what she does (for reference: the lighting in the venue was kind of sterile and too bright for most of the night because we couldn't figure out how to dim the lights and then it was pitch black once we turned them off, but you would never know in the photos!), but she was also so so sweet and made us feel confident and beautiful. From posed to candid, you can trust her to capture you in the best way. As 2 fat brides we thought a lot about photography because we knew the common poses/ photography styles might not translate for us, but we couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out. “We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Ihor. He photographed both our engagement near Beacon, NY and our wedding in Glen Ridge, NY at the Glen Ridge Women's Club, and the results were incredible across the board. For our engagement shoot, which was mostly outdoors, Ihor recommended the best time of day so the lighting would be perfect, and it really shows in the photos. We moved around to several locations on the property, and even though the shoot was only about an hour, we ended up with tons of great shots. He was easy to work with and gave helpful direction that made us feel and look comfortable on camera. On our wedding day, Ihor arrived on time, stayed engaged the whole evening, and captured so many meaningful moments. Our venue was fairly dimly lit, but everything came out sharp, colorful, and beautiful. He did a great job capturing both the big moments and the candid ones in between, along with the emotion throughout the day. He also delivered way more photos than we expected, including a preview just a couple days after the wedding. Beyond the photos, Ihor is a genuinely great guy and a pleasure to have around. “Michaela and I got married on September 6, 2026 at The Madison in Cleveland, and booking Sean was one of the best decisions we made. Before the big day, Sean checked in with several times, making sure our vision would come to life. His attention to detail during these touch points was so appreciated. He did a great job of condensing the things that both my wife and I wanted. On the day itself, Sean was calm, professional, and genuinely easy to be around.
