Built in 1921, the Martindale Schoolhouse is an official Texas Historical Landmark. The feeling of being inside a 100 year-old school building will transport you back in time to experience what a rural school was like over a century ago. The Martindale Schoolhouse is centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is perfect for weddings, special events, weekend getaways, and outdoor excursions. First, there’s the expansive five-room villa that was once the original school. Carefully curated with art from around the world, the schoolhouse sleeps 14 and has been fully modernized with a large kitchen, multiple seating areas, a great lawn and a covered veranda with an outdoor fireplace. Next, there's the Martindale Social Hall. Perfect for wedding receptions, dances, corporate outings, you name it... all hosted under the sky and stars within the walls of the original school gymnasium. To top it off, the crystal clear San Marcos River is a short walk away .

Our venue represents the most authentic, rustic ceremony and reception barn in central Texas. From the rafters and wood beams, to the shiplap and barn doors throughout (not to mention the silo bar, windmill and classic cistern), you’re bound to have guests talking about your wedding day for years to come. The barn has a capacity to fit 350 guests comfortably with additional seating room outside, under our beautiful pavilion, as well as in our artificial turf section. Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. Tiny T Ranch is a working ranch with a wedding chapel. We are SUPER laid back and we only work with super laid back couples. We are not a fancy high-end venue. If you dig nature, farm animals, and a relaxing time, we might be right for you. We invite prospective clients to come and see the place, meet the team, and see what you think. In addition to the Tiny Chapel there is a 1325 square foot reception hall. It is DIY. You set up and break down. You can rent our tables and chairs if you want. If you need an officiant, one lives on-site. There is a bridal cabin and a man shed for grooms. Or if you’re two brides or two grooms, y’all can flip a coin and see who gets what space. You can easily fit 80 guests in the reception hall so if it rains, you are literally covered. We have hosted hundreds of weddings from elopements to bigger events. Full of whimsical decor and antique furniture, you can contract us to serve traditional afternoon English-style tea service or bring your own caterer.
