Laid back luxury so close to Austin
Booked a weekend with Melrose for our dearest friends - we floated the river daytime and spent the afternoon at the pool before utilizing their brand new event pavillion. We even did a casual dinner one night under the Veranda which I loved. The lighting and charm of the space left us stilla t the table after 10pm. Morning after a group of us took our coffee and sat down by the river. Some sat, some swam. The kind of low-key, high-quality, high-low weekend that's harder to find than it should be. They fill a huge need in central Texas. The team was fantastic - they took care of returning our floats to the vendor without us even asking, and generally just let us do our thing. The property has this dialed-in vibe where everything's thoughtful but nothing feels fussy. My friends are still bringing it up months later, which says everything. It's rare to find a place that gets the details right without making a production of it. Easy drive from Austin & San Antonio which makes it a perfect destination for gathering.
Your dream wedding venue
From the moment we first reached out to the team at Melrose River Club, they were incredibly accommodating and attentive to all of our requests. They truly captured the fun, cool vibe we were going for with their funky, eclectic decor and ample gathering spaces that allowed our guests to mingle and make a whole weekend experience out of our wedding. It's like a boujie summer camp for adults, where all our guests got to stay on-site and really soak in the celebration! The Melrose River Club team saw our vision and made it come to life in the most amazing way - we couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our special day. It would also be the perfect place to stay and have a rehearsal dinner for weddings happening in the area, or the ideal corporate retreat venue!
