Where do you photograph?

What gear do you use for weddings?

I use 2 Canon R6s with dual slot memory cards with 35mm, 24-70mm, 85mm, 70-200mm!

How far in advance do I need to book with you?

Accepted Answer

For elopements or micro weddings, 4+ months and for full weddings, days, 8+ months is recommended, but not required. Spring & fall are peak seasons, so booking in advance set us up to be the best team way ahead of the game!

What is your booking process like?

Accepted Answer

We will move forward to a zoom call for the next step so we can meet face-to-face, and discuss all the wedding magic and questions. Afterward, if you say yes to the photographer, I can start the paperwork which is easy peasy.

Question 6

How much is the retainer? Do you take payments?

Accepted Answer

The retainer is 20% of your wedding's total cost and is due with the contract. I am more than happy to create a monthly payment plan for you. I totally get weddings are pricey so if you ever need any accommodations to book, please just talk to me! :)

What if I only need you for more or less than what you offer?

I highly recommend using one of the many packages I offer but we can definitely chat about an 'A La Carte' wedding package that works for you!

What is your turn around for weddings?

Accepted Answer

For engagement photos, 3/4 weeks, and for weddings, 4/6 with also a sneak peek within week one!

Will I need a second photographer?

Accepted Answer

Depending on your wedding size, I always suggest having a second photographer for weddings of 30+ A second photographer can help capture more photos and be in places I physically cannot like with your partner while I am capturing your moments!

Why should I book a wedding photographer?

The cake, the flowers, the first kiss, the groovy moves on the dance floor- all of these make the perfect wedding but they all are gone the next day. Could you imagine not having them captured? This is why it's crucial and important to hire a photographer for your wedding. Your photos will last a lifetime and no price tag should ever hinder forever.

If I had a dime for every time I heard that lol Trust me when I say I got you! My job is to ensure you look your best with the right poses and candids.

What is your travel rate?

I have two rates that help save you money! 1.) For weddings over 150 miles away from me and over 6 hours of photography coverage, I charge a flat fee of $160.00 for gas and housing. 2.) If over 60 miles away from me, and less than 6 hours of coverage I charge Texas's .62 cents per mile rate. *All travel fees are prepaid a month before the wedding

This a great question and the answer is maybe or maybe not. But my response to that question is I am a seasoned professional who loves and welcomes all types of venues. It's so much fun seeing a venue for the first time and making magic happen with what is around us.

You sure can! When you receive your online gallery, there is an option to order prints from a professional lab with exact coloring, Did I mention I offer a 20% off coupon when you order through me?

What is in your wedding guide?

My wedding guide was created with you in mind, my wedding clients. Over 50+ pages long, it goes through photo-related topics like engagement sessions, details, recommended vendors, and so much more. It might even have ideas that you didn't even think about! :)

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

I have never not been able to fulfill my weddings but if this very rare situation does happen, It will completely fall into my hands to handle for you. I will either have my second step up or find a replacement photographer that you are satisfied with. Payments will also be made by Manuel Ayala Photography to the new photographer. Once the contract is signed with the new photographer, we will be separated in all legal manners.

Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be edited from color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge if needed.

Can we request specific shots?

Absofreakinglutely, I will be sending you a wedding questionnaire before the big day so I can get your family formal list and anything else you would like me to get.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am through the Professional Photographer of Americas. You may request proof of insurance.

Will you be posting about our wedding on your website and social media?

Accepted Answer

With your permission by signing the contract, I share photos of your beautiful wedding and love for each other. Very minimal will be shared, but if this is an issue, please chat with me so I can respect your wishes.
