A graduate of Baldwin Wallace University’s Conservatory of the Arts, Lance has spent years as a music educator and currently serves as a 6–12 choir director. In January 2025, The Deneckes released blue & gold, an album comprised of songs Hannah wrote while artist-in-residence at St. Gertrude’s Monastery in Cottonwood, Idaho. In April 2023, The Deneckes released their debut album, lady of the gardens, and in September 2023, they released an EP of old American folk tunes, pilgrim songs from the sacred harp.
