“DJ P did a phenomenal job at my wedding! I had a large wedding of 170 people, and he brought extra speakers, equipment and even a 2nd DJ assistant to ensure his music could be projected throughout the venue at no extra charge. After he setup his equipment, he helped us set up the venue by setting up tables and games we had planned without even being asked. He remembered and respected my blacklist of songs, checking with me any time someone requested one. He was on point on all the songs we asked him to play throughout the night, playing them at the right time. When the dance floor opened up, he had our guests dancing the entire night up until the last song. It was just one song after another that the crowd wanted. He even got on the mic and hyped up the crowd a few times. He worked really well with our wedding coordinator and MC, adapting on the fly as needed. After the wedding, so many people came up to us and complimented the DJ – it wasn’t the same dry wedding playlist they heard at most weddings they went to. It was truly something different, and unique to our wedding. When you speak to him you can tell he has a passion for this, and he knows his music. You can stop looking. DJ P is your guy.”

“DTB Productions was the preferred DJ vendor at our venue - specifically, DJ Mike was picked for our wedding! For me, it was a relief not having to worry about how to find a good DJ considering myself, my husband, and our guests are all from the midwest. However, I was still a little nervous of course! But trust me, ALL of those nerves left the second my husband and I first met DJ Mike over a Zoom call! He was energetic, full of ideas, and offered his honest opinion whenever we asked! We ended up trusting DJ Mike so much that we asked him to hand pick all of the songs for our ceremony prelude, cocktail hour, and dinner (while keeping our discussed genres in mind). He absolutely NAILED it!!! With that, his sound quality was AMAZING throughout the entire day! Our wedding was the first wedding where we actually could understand ALL of the DJ announcements! DJ Mike seriously did whatever he could to make myself and my husband happy, and we will forever appreciate that! “The Lucky Devils Band absolutely made our wedding reception! From our initial phone call with Meredith, we knew we were in excellent hands. She took the time to thoroughly understand our vision and musical tastes, making thoughtful suggestions along the way. Communication was prompt, fun, and Meredith was so approachable throughout the planning process. On the big day, the band blew us away with their incredible talent and ability to perfectly execute our song requests, from jazz to oldies to classic rock. As musicians ourselves, we were so impressed by their skill level and experience and professionalism. During cocktail hour, two musicians played jazz, then they switched to rock mode for the reception. They truly made it feel like our own personal concert and kept people on the dance floor for literally 3 hours! The energy was palpable from their very first note, and their song selections kept guests of all ages dancing all night long. They ended the evening with “Purple Rain” by Prince and it made my life. We can't recommend the Lucky Devils Band highly enough - they were total professionals and our biggest splurge, but SO worth it I’d do it a million times over!!”

“Keith was the perfect DJ. Honestly! There is nothing that we would change about our wedding night, it was truly perfect. Keith is a class act professional who makes no compromise between quality and affordability. He values his clients and offers extraordinary service at an affordable price. I went in with high (but reasonable) expectations for our wedding night, and he definitely delivered above and beyond!! We had read other reviews of weddings that Keith had DJ’d where the clients were musicians and they had curated a specific type of music they wanted throughout the night, and he nailed it. I consider myself a little bit of an audiophile, so I listen to a wide range of music, and I can also attest to just how amazing Keith’s music selection was! Part of a DJ’s job is to get you excited to go out on the dance floor, and we were already excited before the dancing began, because we just knew Keith was going to kill it (spoiler alert: he did!). He even mixed together multiple songs at once and it was amazing! Keith kept the atmosphere alive all night and there was never a dead moment. Most of the people were up and dancing, even people who have never been willing to dance before! It takes a skilled DJ to do that. It was electric. We had had a negative experience with another DJ company that we spoke to before we decided to look to Nocturnal Cafe, but just from the first conversation with Keith we knew he was our DJ. Keith was incredibly respectful to us, he was patient and understanding throughout the whole process, and he worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were going to have the best night of our lives. His process with his clients is great and made us feel very comfortable. He does a great job of avoiding the typical eye-roll cheesy songs (unless you request it, of course) and he picks songs that suit well for what you’re looking for. We gave him some songs/artists/genres we would like to hear (and some to songs to avoid) but we ultimately wanted to just give him an idea of what we were thinking and for him to use it as a guide more than a ‘must’. We gave him creative freedom to just let him work his magic and boy, was it magic that came out of those speakers!”

Nicole, the MC and Manager, was so organized throughout the entire process and made my life so much easier throughout the entire planning process. I am not exaggerating when I say that the dance floor was packed all night!! Bounce Band played an incredible mix of music and kept the dance floor high energy and fun all night long. They also learned two specific requests for me, which was so special. I am a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen and their saxophone player learned the solo from “Born to Run” for our recessional. Hearing it play as we walked back down the aisle was so incredibly special. I’ll remember it forever! They also learned our wedding song, “Baby, I Love Your Way,” and did such an incredible rendition; I felt like I was in a movie. I seriously cannot recommend Bounce Band enough. He was very early, and set up with plenty of time to spare. His speaker system and microphones for toasts worked great. He brought his own lights to add to the party and even added some to our sweetheart table to spice it up! He was very thoughtful, and even sang us L-OV-E by Nat King Cole very tastefully and casually while people were finishing dinner. Highly recommend… thank you DJ Dana!”

He announced everything well, communicated with our wedding coordinator and the other vendors, played our requested song list, and consistently checked in on my (new!) husband and I throughout the evening to see if there was anything that he could help us with. On our song list, we noted that we didn't want any country music played (unless it was a specifically requested song), and when one of our guests asked him to play 'Cotton Eye Joe', Terrell even came up to me and asked me if it was okay because he wasn't sure if I considered that country music! Overall, we are VERY happy with terrell! My husband and I would definitely recommend to other couples who are planning a wedding!”
