“So first off, the first things I asked her were; are you LGBT friendly, can you handle my anxiety, and can you photograph fat people?? Her answer was yes to all....and she exceeded my expectations. I do not talk much nor do I speak my mind ever, but I felt immediately comfortable with Taylor the second I saw her. Prior to that actually because we had texted a lot. She’s very hands-on. I booked her almost a year ago it feels like, but because of covid and other things out of our control we had to reschedule multiple times. Taylor was SO accommodating every single time. She never seemed bothered by us even though I guarantee she had to be. We are a hot mess! We changed the location multiple times, including TWO DAYS before the ceremony, I was late to my own elopement and on the way there my daughter spilled make up all over her clothes so we had to turn around for an outfit change!! Taylor was so kind and friendly. We told her in the beginning that mine and my wife’s height difference was an insecurity of ours and she made the angles work to where we didn’t look that far off at all. I’m telling you this, I have never been confident at all, I have never even liked the pictures other photographers have taken of me.....I cried when I saw Taylor’s pictures. I felt so beautiful and worthy of good photos!! I HIGHLY recommend her and will forever cherish everything she’s done. I was so uneasy about picking a photographer, it was so stressful because I’m from out of state and I knew nothing about Colorado or anything. I’m blessed to have found Taylor, she gave me everything I wanted and more!! Every single time I travel back to CO I will always have he take our photos!! “We would highly recommend anyone that is considering working with Tomi. We first heard about him and his work through other online recommendations, and quickly enjoyed the ease of his website and clear offerings. His packages aligned well with our budget and he was so responsive from the start, we knew we were on the right track. We had an engagement photo shoot with him first, and had some rescheduling due to weather. He was so helpful keeping a close eye on the weather and communicating with us to make sure we were all on the same page (because we had a bit of a drive to the location). Day of the shoot, me and my fiancé made the call to keep on schedule, even though it was pretty windy. Little did we know that we would endure insane winds up on the mountain view we picked. We ended up laughing the whole time and having so much fun with it, I think a huge part due to the energy that Tomi brings and his creativity to make things work. We loved the pictures, and even laugh at our hair swirling around in some of the photos. We met with Tomi a few times virtually to talk through our plans, shot lists, wedding day timeline, etc. He led us the whole way, because of course we haven’t planned such an event before. While we did do our homework, he did a great job assigning to us what we needed to think about and plan so he could give us exactly what we wanted in the end. On the day of our wedding, Tomi was prompt and ready to go. He even snagged some images that we may have been in too much of a whirlwind to realize or remember on our own. Our pictures are just stunning, and we have SO many of them. We just loved the creativity, catching the perfect moments, and candid nature of our pictures. Even our guests were having a blast with him, and we’ve had many tell us how cool our photographer was. It was amazing to see our guests connect with him in this way, and I think it made for more awesome snaps as well. He also did a great job with the kiddos, keeping their attention and getting their perfect smiles. Thanks Tomi! 10/10 would recommend.”

“My husband and I were very happy to find photography in our budget through Yellow Paddle. I didn’t really interact with the company at all, but Mark and Santana were both excellent. Our primary photographer was Mark Whitrock. He did our engagement photos and our wedding. He suggested a beautiful location for our engagement photos and they turned out great. He used both film and digital which was not something we had an opinion on, but we really loved how the film ones turned out. Mark had good suggestions for posing and was also happy to try out our ideas. He was easy to get a hold of over text as well as having a phone call with us right before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page. He was respectful, approachable, timely and easy to work with. We love how the outdoor photos from our wedding turned out, they were true to life in style/color. He also caught some candid shots that I hadn’t thought of which were a nice surprise. Santana Garcia was our second shooter and his work is stunning. His editing style was not something I was particularly looking for but I’m in love with how the photos turned out. The style and lighting is beautiful and the vividness of red (our wedding color) still came through. I didn’t communicate with him directly before the wedding, but he was timely, easy to work with, and brought some of his own ideas which we appreciated. He caught detail shots at both the ceremony and the reception I hadn’t thought to ask for. Dancing was a big and important part of our reception and he did an amazing job capturing crisp, beautiful photos of people in motion in dimmer lighting. We had a panicked moment the night before where we realized we wanted the ceremony to be recorded (not edited or anything special, just captured) and Mark and Santana made it happen for us which was truly above and beyond their jobs and meant a lot to us.”

“We had the most amazing time working with Ali! We had kind of a long engagement and we initially started working with Ali over a year and a half before our wedding to get our engagement photos done. Not only were the photos beautiful, but Ali made us feel super comfortable and at ease throughout our session. Leading up to our wedding day, Ali was amazing at coordinating the day of timeline with our coordinator and making sure that all the elements that were important to us were included so that we had enough time to capture the moments. One of my favorite things about working with Ali is her calm presence. Every time I was stressed about something in the planning process about the timeline I would talk to Ali and she would immediately make me feel at ease. She was constantly reminding me that the most important thing on my wedding day was to be present with our friends and family (and as a type A bride this was a much-needed reminder!) Ali also came to take photos at our rehearsal dinner and welcome party which was great because she got to know our families and our family dynamics before our big day which was a huge help! On the wedding day Ali and the second shooter Scottie were rockstars! They went above and beyond at every opportunity from helping the boys tie a bow tie, climbing out on my fire escape to get a crazy photo that I had in mind, moving locations at last minute, dealing with rain, helping bustle my dress, and of course capturing all the beauty of our perfect day. I will not hesitate to work with Ali and her team again! She’s amazing, a true professional, and I hope we have the chance to have her capture our big milestones in the years to come.”
