“I had the pleasure of working with Kalyna as our Day-of Coordinator for our wedding on October 21st, 2023, at Arden Hills Country Club, and I can’t recommend her enough! While the venue had its own coordinator, Kalyna was absolutely essential in making our day run smoothly. One of the biggest challenges we faced was having a large wedding party, and Kalyna took charge of wrangling everyone, making sure that all our bridal party members and vendors were exactly where they needed to be. She was super organized and kept everything on track, even when things got a little hectic. Kalyna’s ability to troubleshoot any logistical issues that popped up was amazing. Whether it was managing timing or helping with last-minute adjustments, she handled everything seamlessly. She was calm under pressure, and we felt so relieved knowing that she was behind the scenes making sure all the moving pieces came together. In addition to managing the big day itself, Kalyna also helped us with finding vendors leading up to the wedding. “Sugako was INCREDIBLE to work with. I was a destination bride and my entire wedding was traveling from the mainland. I booked the venue and all of the vendors sight unseen so there was a lot of anxiety going into how it would all pan out. When I arrived, oh my goodness. Words cannot describe how on top of things Sugako was. I texted her multiple times, at any time of the day, leading up to the wedding and she was prompt and had the answers to everything. The vision came to life more than I could’ve imagined. Destination brides- this is your girl. You will not have to worry about a single thing. Sugako we loved you!!! “Seriously, you need Annie. I am such a type A person that I thought maybe I didn’t need a wedding planner, but from the first consultation with Annie we decided immediately we needed her. She added value from day one, and saved me from making a horrible venue mistake. She knows everyone, all the vendors, and who’s the best fit for you and your wedding vision. What she doesn’t know (which is rare) she figures out - for example, I had a request to have a magician, a friend cleanse the space with sage smudging, and a sound healer at our wedding, and she handled all my unique requests so well and was up for anything. She is very detail oriented and pays attention to everything- all our bills being correct, caught mistakes I made, and paid attention to all my strange requests. Most weddings are full of some strange interpersonal dynamic challenges, and Annie knew exactly how to navigate each one, paid special attention to the dynamic issues with my family and was fully ready and prepped to keep certain people happy and apart. She dealt with last minute changes seamlessly, including a no-show bridesmaid and last minute addition of a flower girl. There is no one I trusted more with my wedding (and at this point my life, I mean, can I keep her?!!) than Annie. On my wedding day and for months leading up to it I knew that whatever happened to go wrong, whatever last minute issues I would have, Annie would handle it and figure it out and I would barely know the difference. And that’s exactly how our day went. She is perfect and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Ps- mango season band was amazing too!!”

The most expensive part of any wedding or vow renewal is photography and/or video and since we personally do both, we pass the savings on to our clients. We have the A-team of florists, limousines, musicians, etc. Our hair and makeup stylists come to you and everybody on our team loves what they do as much as we do. We also believe in prompt delivery of the finished product(s) taking a day or two, not weeks.

“Aloha! Eight years ago was a very special day. Our beautiful ceremony took place on Waialae Beach in Kahala. We chose the White Roses Package, which included two leis with red and white rosebuds, we stood in a heart shaped leafy ring and our wonderful singer David Asing played his ukulele serenading us with Hawaiian Wedding Song; Kuuipo. We also released beautiful white doves out into the Hawaiian sunshine. Our hair and makeup was arranged for at our hotel on the big day and, a limousine collected us also. A truly fabulous day thanks to Leah and her husband Mike, who also took our photos and videoed the ceremony. Leah lovingly came to our rescue, when we both had a slight malfunction with our dresses! Needle and thread at the ready phew! We highly recommend Hawaiian Eye Weddings. Mahalo nui ia ‘oe!”

“We worked with Sandra for about a year leading up to our wedding at La Pietra, and truly, we don’t know what we would have done without her. We’re both busy professionals based in SF, so we knew we needed someone in Hawaii who could really take the reins. Sandra was a godsend. The biggest thing for us was that NOTHING fell through the cracks. If we mentioned something once, she remembered it. She was also somehow always calm. Even when we were indecisive, changed our minds, or threw something at her last minute (oops), we never once saw her rattled or annoyed. Special shoutout to Kandis too, who helped coordinate so many details throughout the year! We also loved that Sandra wasn’t afraid to tell us what she thought. We were initially against having a tent because we thought it would ruin the look of the wedding. She ultimately left the decision to us, but made sure we understood the realities of Hawaii weather. We're so glad we listened! It rained the day before, was insanely windy the day of, and the tent ended up being a great decision. Her vendor network was another huge plus. After so many years planning weddings in Hawaii, she knows who’s good. She gave us a handful of trusted options for each vendor, we interviewed and chose who felt right, and we ended up LOVING everyone we hired. They also consistently told us how incredibly “on it” Sandra was. And on the wedding day, we just… enjoyed it. Everything ran so smoothly that we could be fully present. Seeing everything we’d spent a year planning and envisioning finally come to life, even more beautifully than we imagined, was so special. It genuinely felt like the perfect day, and we know it wouldn’t have been possible without Sandra and her team. We’d recommend Sandra a million times over.”

She founded Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii in 2010, inspired by her sons: Zen and Jude. With extensive experience, including six years apprenticeship under notable coordinators, coordinating concerts for emerging talent for a Miami Beach record label. Yanicke brings expertise and passion to her work. She earned a Fashion Design degree from Miami Art University and devoted early years to the Fashion Industry before focusing on event coordination.

“Our experience planning our destination wedding in Oahu, Hawaii with Yanicke, where we first met and fell in love, was nothing short of a fairytale. As a newly engaged couple living in New Jersey, we had been ideating on whether we should pull the trigger on organizing our wedding in Hawaii - the ultimate destination wedding location - not to mention, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Just knowing this, we assumed it would be out of our budget, especially given that we were planning a big fat Polish-Indian wedding spanning multiple days, faiths, cultures and more! We began emailing quite a few planners via The Knot and Wedding Wire just to get a feel for what we could except from planning a wedding in Hawaii in general. Beyond worrying about our budget, we were torn on whether we could logistically execute something so elaborate being so far away….until that fateful Monday morning back in 2024, when Yanicke called me out of the blue. She quickly introduced herself, mentioning how she had received our inquiry, and immediately dove into her ideas for our special day. I just loved that she took the initiative to do that, especially given the crazy, 6-hour time difference! She explained how she had worked with a venue that could double as accommodations for us and our immediate family, something we knew would be one of the best ways to actually host and easily organize the wedding weekend of both Indian and Polish wedding festivities. For us, Yanicke REALLY shined when it came to tapping her vast network of vendors and and managing our budget. She advised us on what we should prioritize and invest in, and what we could do without, while still maintaining the overall vision and vibe we wanted to create for ourselves and our guests on the the big day. She was EQUALLY impressive on both our rehearsal and wedding days. She suggested we rehearse not just the Catholic, but the and Hindu ceremony as well, which was so worth it given the many rituals and parent involvement. The timeline she had started putting together months before our wedding, plus the finalized version accounting for vendor arrivals, additional notes and moments we needed to incorporate, was exactly what we envisioned and needed the most, and everyone was locked in and delivered once the big day came. On our wedding day, Yanicke managed every vendor, navigated any delays with grace, and even helped with family drama all while keeping us perfectly on track. We felt supported, celebrated, and completely stress-free with her by our side. Yanicke is a real gem with years of wedding planning wisdom and sharp networking skills that is truly hard to come by these days. She advocates for both her clients and her network, and will make you feel like family from Day 1.”

“If you read any review, read this one. For context, I'm a producer, my entire career is planning big scale events, productions, and hiring people. We went through 3 coordinators before finding Tara and it was because I had such a high standard for who I wanted to help me on my wedding day. Tara was, hands down, the best thing that could have happened to us for our wedding. We had multiple setbacks and last minute changes and none of them threw Tara off her step. She was honest with us 100% of the time about what was possible and what wasn't possible. And whenever either of us had concerns, Tara's response was always exactly what we needed to hear. She assured us that everything would work out and she would take care of it and she absolutely did. We did all of the decorations for our wedding ourselves and relied on Tara to set it up and execute our vision. Not only were we both FLOORED walking down the aisle seeing what she had done, it was actually better than we could have ever imagined. Additionally, after the wedding I found out that there was an issue with our credit card that almost prevented the vendor from delivering the items on time - Tara took care of it without telling us (the best thing a wedding coordinator can do) and I really appreciated how it was handled without needing to ask us. I can't say this enough, Tara was the best thing that ever happened to us for our wedding. Truly I don't think we paid her enough. We are so incredibly grateful for what she's done for us and if we were to ever have a huge event in need of planning, I'd hire her in a heartbeat. Stop looking for a coordinator, just hire her. “I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! I could write so much more on how incredible Events by McKenna is, but to sum it all up, they are the best choice for your wedding planning and coordinating needs and you will not regret choosing them for your big day!!”

“HIRE CASSIE!!! There are so many reasons to hire Cassie, including that she is absolutely a lovely human being, but it really boils down to she will make your whole wedding better, both from your perspective and your guests’. We were definitely that overly anxious couple who thought about eloping at every other decision. Cassie greatly reduced the stress on our plates by doing all the research so we could actually enjoy making the decisions and envisioning our day. Anything we didn’t absolutely love, Cassie would come back to us with new options, helping to fine tune the vision so the day perfectly fit us. When we were worried we were behind schedule or over budget, Cassie and her phenomenal organizational skills always helped reassure us of the timeline and that we were in fact coming in under budget for our wedding. And she did all of this while we lived in California, planning our Massachusetts wedding. At one point during the process, my partner,Cassie, and I were in three different states, but she always found the time to meet and made sure she was always available for us. The day of the wedding, we got so much feedback from our parents and the bridal party that they have never seen a wedding run so smoothly. Even the hairstylist noted she had never seen a bridal party so relaxed and on schedule. At our wedding, with Cassie handling all the day-of coordination, we were able to simply be guests of honor and enjoy the evening. Our wedding ended up being beyond our wildest dreams and it is really all thanks to Cassie.”

“Annie from Before You Say I Do was an exceptional day-of-coordinator for our special day. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. I can only imaging if we would have booked her whole wedding planning service, our wedding probably would have somehow been even more perfect than it already was. We are so grateful for her dedication and attention to detail in making our wedding day perfect. I highly recommend booking Annie!”
