We are a married couple of photographers. Within years of career, we discovered what’s really matters - we want to make people happy. Weddings have it all: new interesting people, touching stories, warm family relationships, tears. A lot of tears! Oh, don’t forget dances and sparklers! So, it’s fun! 🙂 Also, we love weddings because it’s the most challenging kind of photography in the field, it combines all the genres. It make you think, move and react quickly in constantly changing surrounding. We have no room for mistakes. So It’s never boring! 🙂

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot recommend Tati and Roman enough - not only did the photos turn out gorgeous, but also Tati and Roman are both so lovely to work with. They made the entire experience fun, thoughtful, and personalized. Even our family was commenting to us about how much fun they had with the process. Thank you, Tati and Roman!

I believe love is love and happily photograph couples of all backgrounds, orientations, religions and gender expressions. I aim to create authentic and emotive images for my clients and edit true to color so the work will be timeless. My personality is friendly and warm, which helps make my couples feel at ease and open up in front of the camera. I donate $100 from every wedding day package to a non profit organization (either the ACLU, End the Backlog or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation) because I believe paying it forward in honor of love is an excellent first step into marriage.

Awarded Best of Zola
Looking back at the day of our wedding we know if we had a different photographer, the vibe would have been completely different. Not only is Jenna extremely professional and talented, but she provided a sense of calmness throughout the day. It was exactly what we needed. Her communication with us was top notch from the moment we inquired about her services. & to top it all off we are obsessed with our photos!! We would book her again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her!

Eddie was our photographer for our wedding on 10/7/22. From the initial phone consult to receiving our photos, Eddie was amazing! Eddie is good at what he does! Eddie was a good communicator on the day of- he was fun and kept everything on schedule. Our bridal party even mentioned how great and nice he was! We had several little kids in our wedding, and he was so good with them as well. He was not pushy AT ALL and stuck to our "photo list." We were very pleased with his work and the end product- over 1000 amazing photos capturing our special day. We could not recommend him enough!

You know that all encompassing feeling when you’re revisiting a vivid memory? You can smell the fresh air, feel the way the sun hits your face just so, hear the voice of the loved one next to you, remember the joke that they delivered and instantly you’re laughing all over again. That magic is what I hope to capture as your photographer. It’s my job to hold those moments in time so that they don’t have to fade. You’ll forever be able to revisit the moment, see the exact way they smiled, revisit that incredible sunset, relive the memory and turn back time.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the day we met, I knew would have a great working relationship and friendship. Jessica's professionalism and communication was perfection from day one! We kept in close contact throughout the entire wedding planning process. On the day of, She rallied everyone perfectly and took the best pictures of our Big Day! So great in fact that we are having trouble picking photos to print for our home and families. We haven't stopped looking at the photos since we received them. We had our doggy in attendance (best decision ever) and she made sure he was included. Jessica made us both feel super comfortable. Reliving this day through her photos is absolutely amazing. Just stunning! Cant say enough good things!! Hire Jess, you wont regret it!

When I’m not photographing freaking awesome people, you can find me sitting on the couch in my husband's pajama pants, drinking coffee, snuggling my pets, and editing. Coffee and snuggles are my two primary love languages. My favorite Netflix binges are The Office, Shameless, and Friday Night Lights. Clear eyes, full heart. Speed date: I’m obsessed with Vermont, avocados, dark chocolate, and cats. Pinterest is only my friend for recipes. My favorite fair food is fried dough but I’m allergic to it - what kind of cruel joke is that? I didn’t study photography in college (gasp), but I did study music, and that kind of relates...right?

Booking Erica was by far one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. She is extremely easy to work with, is remarkably professional, and, importantly, the pictures are spectacular. From the first chat with her to receiving the finished images, each interaction was a joy. Erica is fully present, thoughtful, and responsive. We never felt like we were being told to just do the same poses that she does with every couple - it all felt really authentic to who we are. She made us and our families feel comfortable in front of the camera with such sweetness and encouragement. Erica and her co-photographer on the day of were somehow everywhere and nowhere. They knew how to seamlessly capture every moment while somehow not being in the way of any moment. This is evident in the pictures we received. Not only do we have stunning pictures of us as a couple in settings and poses we never would have thought of on our own, we have countless candid shots of all our guests enjoying the event. If you are considering hiring Erica, do not waste another minute. Do it. Now. Before she's booked on your date. You won't regret it!

Cappy Hotchkiss Photography

5.0

Beacon, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000

I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light. I have since moved on to photographing people with better equipment and I still always search for that perfect light. I now live in the lovely Hudson Valley after a long stint in NYC and Brooklyn where I trained under fashion and editorial photographers before starting my own photography business almost 20 years ago. Full disclosure, I'm a little scared of the ocean.

Cappy was a pleasure to work with from the very first interaction I had with her. She is full of joy and excitement about her work and it really comes through. We are extremely happy with both the engagement photos and our wedding photos—especially the photos of our reception. She captured the joy and excitement of the day so incredibly well. Looking through the albums allowed us to relive the day together and gave us so many fun snaps of our guests enjoying the party. Neither of us are comfortable in front of a camera, but she somehow managed to help us relax and enjoy the experience, making the pictures even more beautiful. Cappy was there for every important moment of our day without being overwhelming. We all laughed with her during the posed shots of our family and bridal party and she managed to somehow work her way around the dance floor seamlessly to get the most amazing pictures of the party. Being able to see these and share them with family and friends has brought us so much joy and laughter. Cappy is incredibly talented, fun, and easy to work with—zero drama and all smiles. She was on time with everything, including the turnaround of the albums. She brought a second photographer with her to our wedding, Teresa, who was also amazing and they made a GREAT team. We would recommend her work to anyone!

Sarah's professional abilities are endless. She works well with couples, listens, adjusts and always puts the client first. We are a COVID-19 couple and had to change our date several times due to the ever changing restrictions. Sarah was always there to support and understand us. Nina Marin Photography

5.0

Walden, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,600

Hey! I'm Nina. I'm a pretty energetic and charismatic person that loves love and enjoys life. Documenting through photo is my favorite thing on this planet. I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras to using flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. I have used writing, art, and photo to document my life and it is an incredibly special thing to be able to share that with my clients.

Awarded Best of Zola
I'd been following Nina Marin on Instagram for a number of years so once I got engaged, I knew exactly who to reach out to to capture my engagement shoot and elopement. As someone who cringes at being in front of the camera, she made me feel at ease and didn't hesitate to pose us or adjust our awkward hands/faces/etc. The pictures we got back felt like us — Nina was able to capture not only the visual aspects of our special day, but also the sheer bliss. I'm so grateful to have worked with such an easygoing and trustworthy photographer.

Hi, Thanks for reading! Here's my photography short story: 2017, after 13 years of teaching, I said goodbye to the classroom and pursued Olympic weightlifting photography- my company was Everyday Lifters. Shortly after, I launched my wedding business. The Long Version: Weightlifting has taken me to places like Turkmenistan, Germany, & across the country! The weightlifters started getting married, and along the way, I received training to advocate for diverse bodies as a photographer. During this time of transition, I started taking documenting courses through the International Center of Photography and work on documenting local stories.

I have reached out to Viviana in 2019 for our wedding in May 2020. She was accommodating and gave us a lot of information and We just clicked right off the bat. Our wedding was postponed due to Covid and she was so helpful along the way and making the rescheduling as easy as possible from her end. We got married July 2021 Viviana was amazing. My fiancé and I are not big in to pictures but Viviana made it easy and the pictures were absolutely amazing. Throughout the entire day guests would comment on hell she was all over the place getting such great pictures. She even got pictures that I had no clue she even took and when I received all of our pictures was amazed at what an amazing job she did. I would recommend her to anyone.

Little Cacti Photography

Poughkeepsie, NY

  • Starts at $3,200

Welcome! I'm Anita. I aim to freeze moments in time, ensuring they never fade away. Picture this: the exact curve of a smile, the hues of an unforgettable sunset, the ability to relive a cherished memory and rewind time. I value creating a safe haven for every facet of your humanity. Whether you're camera-shy or uncertain about interacting with a stranger, I strive to make the process comfortable. Let's not just capture moments; let's craft an experience where, perhaps, we'll both discover a new friend in the making.

We chose little cacti photography after meeting with a bunch of different photographers for our micro-wedding/elopement ceremony. Anita was such a pleasure to work with and knew exactly what we wanted to make our special day extra special. She lived up to our expectations and then some. We couldn't be happier with the way our pictures turned out. She is prompt, professional, funny, caring and really loves what she does and it shows in her work. We couldn't be happier with how she captured our special day. We highly recommend Little Cacti Photography.

Hi, I'm Jen -- a semi-awkward, nice person and a wedding photographer based out of the Catskills of New York. I am a huge fan of dogs. I love to tell stories -- even more so, I love to tell side stories, so rambling - I guess I just love rambling. I'm down to earth - easy going - and always intimated by writing descriptions about myself.

I've worked alongside Jen of Story & Gold Weddings for a few years and I can honestly say that besides being an incredibly talented photographer, Jen is an all-around wonderful person. She's creative, kind, reliable, and dedicated to creating a high-quality product and experience for her couples - and her artistic vision on wedding days continuously blows me away. I recommend Jen to all my family and friends who are looking for a modern, bold approach to wedding photography - don't hesitate to hire her!!

Rebecca has been working as a professional photographer for over 10 years. She began with a small film camera, taking photos at her favorite concerts. I'm Alex. I spend my free time with my husband and our dogs Conor & Belle. I'm lucky to live in the Hudson Valley surrounded by amazing nature and upstate lifestyle. Art is something that I fell in love with at a young age and has always carried me through life- it lead me to photography. The mixture of art and emotion is one of the things I love most about wedding photography. When you look through your collection of photos I want you to feel and see the emotion, love and fun you had on your best day ever.

As a wedding florist, I've had the pleasure of working with some extremely talented and gifted photographers throughout the years and certainly have my favorites. Alex from White Poppy weddings is for sure one of them. She is kind, genuine, very easy to work with and I LOVE that she has an eye for not only only capturing the tender and important moments, but the beautiful details that tell the story of the day. I am always excited to work with Alex, whether it be a styled shoot or a wedding because I know the vibe of the day will be easygoing and fun and the photos are going to be GOOD!! I could not recommend this sweet, talented gal enough.

Arius Photography

Stone Ridge, NY

I like to find beauty in the balance between the shadows and the light. They are rarely inseparable. They are complex and totally opposite and yet they can not live without the other. Just like real connection. What is real is beautiful. Only love is real. Your wedding day is important. To you. To your families. To me. And I don’t take it lightly. I understand that you’ve never done this before and you may not even know where to start! Don’t worry- I got you!

Sam June is simply an artist. There is an undeniable coolness with her vibe and an authenticity she brings to her work. From the first phone call, through the delivery of our wedding album, Sam shows a passion for her clients and is genuinely able to connect on a deep level through her photography. We were lucky enough to have her genius to capture our wedding day. We had heavy rain the majority of our October wedding in the Hudson Valley, which Sam navigated beautifully at Red Maple Vineyard. Looking back on the photos has allowed us to remember a joyous day in our lives with our friends and family. Sam's eye catches stunning moments you can marvel at. Our family and guests also commented on how much they appreciated Sam's warm presence. We loved every second we got to spend with Sam and will be forever grateful for all her recommendations and guidance throughout the entire wedding process! We have so much love and gratitude for her.

If there is anything I'd love for you to know the most about me, it's this: I will show up for you with compassion, courage and patience (and a little unconventional when inspired). My superhero strength is to see things that you don't; capturing significant moments or your 'perfect side.' I will transform your misconceptions about how you look on camera. It's empowering. I want to do that for you. I received my BFA in fine-arts from Pratt Institute and shot my first wedding in 1992. Photomuse was founded in 2002 and has gone on to become an award-winning photography studio.

Hey there love! I’m Malyssa, the onewoman circus behind M Quay Photography. I fell in love with photography one morning while I was waiting at the bus stop. Since then I've been seeing the beauty in everything. I want to be the person who helps you see your inner beauty. As your wedding photographer, I want to be the person you come to freaking out about wedding planning, the person bring you water, hang out with your kiddos, and tell you that you are the bomb! I want to adventure with you. Truly, I just want to be your best friend. And maybe take some photos of you in the process.

Malyssa was so easy to work with. She made my now husband and I feel so comfortable when we first met and did engagement photos and was always there for us throughout the entire wedding planning process. Debbie Gander Photography

5.0

Poughkeepsie, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

When I’m not photographing amazing people, you'll find me hiking in the Hudson Valley with my family, brunching with my girlfriends, or planning my next vacation (mostly likely on a beach somewhere). I'm obsessed with warm weather, family gatherings, and sunsets. When it's chilly out, you'll find me with a hot cocoa in hand. If there's music on, it's likely country or throwback 80s jams. ALL people and love stories are welcome here!

Working alongside Debbie was a joy! I was a videographer to a wedding she was photographing. To the couple, Debbie was patient, calm, and professional throughout the day, and helped the couple not only stay at ease during some stressful moments, but also enjoy their wedding day amidst the hiccups. To myself and the other vendors, Debbie was collaborative, creative, and flexible to each of the fellow vendors specific needs for the day. Her photos from the wedding were authentic, timeless, and stunning! I would highly recommend Debbie Gander Photography to any couple looking for a photographer for their wedding!

Blue Jar Photo

My passion for photography started at a very young age. Polaroid,Kodak, disposable cameras anything I could get my hands on for as long as I can remember. After working for several years in photojournalism and editing I decided to make the switch to a full time wedding photographer in 2010. I haven’t looked back since. I love the rush and excitement of the wedding day. The ability to meet new people and travel new places. Every weekend I get to experience different families, friends, foods and cultures. It’s not a job it’s a gift. My gift in return to you is images I pour my heart and soul into.

My husband and I could not imagine our wedding without Blue Jar Photo. Meg is truly an artist and captured such beautiful and unique shots of our wedding. If you're looking to commemorate the candid and intimate moments of your special day, Blue Jar Photo can do just that. I could not be happier with our engagement and wedding photos. I highly recommend Blue Jar Photo! Absolutely amazing!

I've been snapping photos for over 25 years now. What began as a fun little hobby quickly spiraled into an all-consuming passion. For more than two decades, I've been knee-deep in the world of consumer packaged goods (CPG) as a marketing executive, rocking the suit-and-tie look like a champ. But you know what they say about following your dreams? Well, I finally listened. I ditched the corporate scene to capture the joy of weddings and to preserve the intrinsic beauty that surrounds us. Through my work, I aim to preserve memories, highlight untold moments, and foster a deeper connection between the viewer and my images.

I have a very photojournalistic approach to a wedding day — I want to capture all of the beautiful, loving, silly and fun moments as they unfold with warmth and honesty. When it comes to portraits, I love to get more editorial and incorporate bits of what makes you, you (as a couple) with the surrounding light, nature and architecture. Most importantly, when you look back at your photos I want you to remember how it felt.

I’ve been photographing amazing couples since 2009. I am known for my authentic moment driven images. Some of my clients think of me as a camera toting ninja. Many are amazed by my calm and collected presence during the chaos. My clients want photos that make you feel and show the fun, joy and spirit of the day.

I was born and partially raised in Southern California. After a few years + an exceptionally long cross country road trip - my parents decided to move us to the east coast. We've been complaining about the beaches ever since. My sister was always the artistic one. She sold her first piece while she was still in middle school, it took me a lot longer to figure out what I wanted to do. When I started doing photography - I honestly didn't realize how much I'd love it. It's not just about the lighting, filter, or the pursuit of the perfect Instagram feed. Sometimes it means going into the ocean to get the perfect shot.

Hey there!! My name is Marilyn and I'm so glad you're here ♡ I am a couples + wedding photographer based in New York City, and happy to travel to wherever your day is at! I've had pink hair for the last 6 years so at this point it has become a personality trait and I'm 100% okay with it. I love the outdoors, pat every dog I can, and thrive on ben and jerry's. My ideal place to be would likely be frolicking in wildflowers in a dress that's way too long, but the longer the better. The patio of my NYC apartment with a good book is a close second favorite though, for sure.

Awarded Best of Zola
Thoughtful, kind, spunky, hilarious, down for listening to your vision, and infusing your day with her own artistic style and capturing expertise (oh, and will hike to a waterfall with you in your wedding dress): just a few ways that I can describe Marilyn! She was phenomenal to work with, all the way from engagement photos to the big day, and I cannot recommend her enough. She has a way of capturing the big moments beautifully, and even more so, the little in between moments that were such a lovely surprise when we got our photos back. It felt like a friend was along for the ride with us and no matter what little hiccups happen on the day of, you’ll know that she’ll be gifting you with some of the most gorgeous imagery of your days on the other side of it all. Above all, she is a pro and I know we will continue to support her in the coming years as our family grows and basically, any chance to work with her again!

With my whole heart, I unapologetically embrace inclusivity & all forms of love.

I highly recommend Bailey. Her photos are beautiful - ethereal and real at the same time, which is exactly what I hoped for and wasn't sure I could find. One of our friends in the wedding party is a professional photographer, and even (indeed, especially) they were really impressed by Bailey. After having done quite a lot of research on wedding photographers I'm confident in saying that her prices are an amazing deal for the quality you get. Plus, she's willing to talk to you openly about budget and what's possible in a given budget. And she's just a really nice, fun person. Having her around felt like having an extra friend at the wedding. Basically, hiring her was a great decision and you should also do it.

In the 20 years that I've been photographing professionally, I’ve honed my skill of knowing when to step in and make things happen, and when to step back and simply *allow* things to happen. Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Christopher does excellent work! Very responsive by email and phone, takes a lot of time to learn about his clients, which adds a very personal touch. On the day of, Christopher did a wonderful job at directing the shoots. His assistant was excellent also. While they took many beautiful photos throughout the day without interrupting the flow, they were also very receptive to requests. Christopher even captured so many details we weren't expecting, but they were such a nice touch to the photo collection. 10/10 would recommend. The engagement mini-photoshoot was also a lot of fun!

️️️️️ Choosing Drzazga Photo for our wedding was hands down the BEST decision we made while planning. Since getting our gallery back, we are still getting compliments on how gorgeous and unique our photos turned out. When we met Carly during our engagement session we knew right away that she and Kasey would make us feel comfortable and would be the perfect pair to capture such an important day in our lives. We loved our engagement pictures so much we used them for everything (bridal shower invitations, wedding invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations and thank you cards). I think we looked at them all 1,000 times. They captured our love for each other and excitement so perfectly. Our wedding gallery was like looking at pictures from a fairytale. Our getting ready pictures, portraits, ceremony and reception photos are beautiful. They captured gorgeous pictures of us, but also of our family and friends whom we shared such an important day with. I love thinking about how someday these pictures will be shared with our own children, grandchildren and family. Weeks after our wedding we decided to become puppy parents to an adorable Cavapoo named Teddy. The Drzazga’s have captured such sweet moments of our love story this year. We couldn’t think of a better way to end it than a trip to Cleveland in November for a holiday mini session at their studio, with of course the newest addition to our family, Teddy. Thank you Carly and Kasey for capturing all of the sweet moments of this amazing year. You are truly the best of the best. Love, The Rishers

And whether we’re there for the happy moments or the emotional moments, we want to document it all.

Awarded Best of Zola
There’s not many things in life that you get a do-over with. I think as a covid bride none of us expected even the simplest things in this process to be difficult or even heartbreaking- by the time the day comes you’re just happy you got to say I do - whatever that looked like. Whatever money wasted and whatever discontent. One of the collateral damages of my covid wedding was bad weather, stressed out skin and a photographer that oversold their services. Almost a year later it broke my heart to look at our un-edited photos unhappy with what was captured and all we paid. Another couple we are close friends with recommended Jenn and Steve telling us why don’t you do an anniversary shoot with them! They showed us their amazing wedding photos and raved about their experience. I said you know what- after all the money we spent all the heartache we deserve to have some photos we love. Booking and communicating our vision was so simple we met with Jenn via zoom, she was flexible on date (and rain date) professional, kind and clear on the services included and I felt wow this is what I wish we had done the first time. So the shoot day comes and I put my dress back on, we got dressed up, we did all the things we WISHED we did that day and had so much fun with Jenn capturing it. The experience and light heartedness of the day was a true pleasure. In a few short weeks when I got my photos back nothing can quite describe when the image of yourself, and your love, since you were a little girl- matches the reality in a photo. When someone captures that feeling and your love so perfectly when you look at yourself and feel like the best version of yourself as a bride- the colors and the emotion, NOTHING can top that. Jenn and Steve gave us the best anniversary gift we could have ever asked for. We now have photos I’m proud to show my kids and say hey look how hot your parents were. I am so happy we decided to do this and so grateful to Jenn for making a little girls dreams come true3 Thank you.

I'm Chrysa- a self-taught photographer since 2014. My entire life I've always been in love with taking pictures. Whether it was using a Polaroid as a kid, bringing the ole digital point & shoot along to the bars in college (until I dropped it in a vodka RedBull - RIP) or finally growing up & buying my first big girl DSLR in my early 20s, I have always had a flare for anything creative. I'm sure my parents wished I had a flare for performing heart surgery but here we are... I love travel & all things adventure/outdoors (Want to climb a mountain to elope? I'm your girl. Want to exchange vows in a National Park? I've been to 29, count me in).

My husband and I decided to elope. Being that we eloped, I had no one to help me get ready for our small ceremony, and Ali immediately became my honorary bridesmaid. She ran around looking for items or products I needed, all while capturing precious moments. I am forever grateful for her help on such an emotional day. As a photographer, she worked with the lighting in ways I would have never known were possible. We got married on a boat, and she worked with the captain to ensure that the boat was in the proper position in the ocean for best lighting . Truly amazing. It was such a pleasure to work alongside Ali; she made two camera shy people like ourselves effortlessly take pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Photographing weddings and elopements is a privilege that I do not take lightly. I treat each moment with as much care as if it were my own! While I am happy to take on weddings of any size, I specialize in intimate weddings or engagement sessions where I can embrace a documentary, candid approach. My favorite moments to capture are those quiet, unplanned interactions. I adore the small details. The moments that sometimes get overlooked but often times help tell the story of your wedding day the most. I thrive with couples who aren’t afraid to be silly and embrace the moments as they come as opposed to forcing it.

It was incredible getting to watch Sydney in action when we worked a wedding together this past year! As a newer wedding vendor she welcomed me with open arms and I learned so much by watching her interact with the couple, wedding party, family, and friends! She consistently was one step ahead and always seemed to know exactly what everyone needed! She spent the day as so much more than a photographer which I can only imagined enhanced the bride and grooms day and took so much pressure of their shoulders! Not to mention the photos turned out absolutely gorgeous! I would love to work alongside Sydney again in the future! Any vendor that gets to learn from her is lucky!

We booked Shelby after checking out her Instagram and website portfolio. Initially, we were going to use her for the proposal but due to timing ended up using her for our engagement photos. Shelby was incredibly sweet and responsive throughout our communication. No question was too small, and she helped us solidify our location based on the vibe we were looking for. On the day of our pictures, Shelby was very good at helping us relax and ensuring we had fun. We were both a little nervous as we didn't know what to expect but the time went by so quickly, and our photo session was so fun and romantic. Shelby is hilarious, sweet, compassionate, and high-energy. We completely trusted her vision and we were rewarded with wonderful photos for it. She sent over a preview incredibly fast and those pictures were gorgeous! She truly captured the essence of our relationship in her photography. We received our full album a month or so later and are so happy with how the photos turned out. Our friends and family LOVE them and were so impressed. You can genuinely feel the love jumping off the screen, as well as the overall New York energy. If we hadn't hired a photographer for our (CA) wedding by our session, we would have hands-down hired Shelby for that as well. That being said, we look forward to taking pictures with her again! There is truly no one better than Rayleen and Tim. My photos were probably the top of my list of important things when it came to my wedding day and Meraki Photo produced everything I dreamed of and more. I have received so many compliments on our absolutely stunning wedding photos and I get asked regularly who my photographer was. The photos Rayleen and Tim create are truly a work of art. They make everything look like absolute perfection and capture such stunning moments. They are so creative and do so well at making you feel so comfortable behind the camera. I loved each and every photo they took during our wedding and engagement shoot and I look at our photos often. I feel so lucky and blessed that I had a photography team as amazing as Rayleen and Tim. They are it for me! I will use them again and again in the future for family photos, ect. Thanks Meraki photo for your kindness and unbelievable talent. You made our day so special and I'm so thankful to have these photos for the rest of our lives. If you are thinking of booking Meraki, you will not regret it and prepare to stun all of your friends and family with beautiful photos. I truly don't think there is anyone better than them! The team who captured our couple's photo session left an indelible impression on us. They took the time to understand our vision for the photoshoot, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about making this experience special for us. The photographer's expertise shone through in every shot. They had an incredible knack for not just taking pictures but for capturing authentic moments of our love and connection. Whether it was a stolen glance, a shared laugh, or a tender embrace, the photographer managed to freeze these moments in time, preserving the essence of our relationship beautifully. They were open to our suggestions and actively encouraged our input, making the session a collaborative and enjoyable process. Throughout the shoot, the team's friendly and reassuring demeanor put us at ease. They created an atmosphere where we could be ourselves, allowing our love to shine through naturally. We never felt rushed, and they were patient in capturing the perfect shots. The end result was a collection of images that surpassed our expectations. The quality of the photos was impeccable, with stunning clarity and attention to detail. The colors and lighting were exquisite, creating a visual narrative of our love story that we'll cherish forever.

This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements, to hiking engagements, to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York and California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, and candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few awesomely unique shots on top of it all.

Awarded Best of Zola
I would recommend her as a photographer to anyone who wants to have pictures that will allow them to keep reliving their wedding day. She was a joy to work with, easy-going, and yet very astute to our wishes as a couple. Kathryn made our already fantastic day one that we can keep visiting for many years to come. I don’t even know where to start. I think Kathryn was fated to be our wedding photographer. Nothing else explains how well it all turned out. Whenever I look at my wedding pictures, I relive my wedding so vividly that it is unreal. The way she was able to capture our day was beyond amazing, and it’s the same sentiment expressed by anyone who has viewed our photographs, from our wedding guests, family, and friends who didn’t attend, to strangers. Simply beautiful and magical. We found her online after months of searching and talking to many other photographers. She caught our attention with her pictures first but kept it with her personality and quality of work. We were able to feel the spirit, emotion, and genuine joy in them. Her attention to details and being able to capture all of those emotions spoke to us immediately. The creativity and sense of adventure that shined through her pictures secured her role on our joyous day. Her style matched ours so well. First of all, she was so easy to work with her. At the onset, our interactions were seamless, from the first conversation on the phone to the contracting process and the delivery of our photos. I have heard so many horror stories from friends and family about their photographers and being unhappy with the outcome that I was scared that my experience would be similar. However, working with Kathryn was indeed a dream, and my photos are beyond lovely. I don’t think a day has passed when we do not look at our photos with smiles on our faces. Her pictures are clear and full of energy. So well done that you can feel the emotions, hear the music, and experience all the joys. I can’t imagine anyone else being able to capture it the way she did. She was able to get little moments in-between moments. She was omnipresent yet invisible if that makes any sense, but it’s the best I can explain it. She was there when the Bridal party was getting ready yet not in the way. She captured the ceremony in a way that you can feel the love, the sincerity of our vows, and our audience responded to it all—documented the fun of the dance party to a point where you can hear the music that went along with the moves frozen in time. We hardly felt her presence in the room, but we know she was there because we have these captured moments. If you can book her, just do it!

I am so glad you're here! I LOVE my family and I am OBSESSED with anything Kate Spade and if I could live in yoga pants, I would. My favorite thing to do other than photography is cook. I am lucky my husband and kiddos love eating as much as they do! We love the beach and anything Disney! I fully believe in having ice cream for breakfast and I cannot pass by a good Italian restaurant without going in. My heart melts when my boy says I love you or kisses my cheek. Being a photographer has allowed me to freeze some of our sweetest moments and I hope to be able to do that for you. xoxo

I don’t have enough words to describe how much we love Lauren! We were recommended by a friend to Lauren for our wedding in 2017. We had met with 8 (yes eight!!) photographers before Lauren and from the minute we sat down with her, we knew she was special. Her attention to detail and care about us and our family was exceptional. I don’t even really remember seeing my own wedding planner more than twice on my wedding day but Lauren was there every second keeping me calm and making sure I was ready for every moment of the day and night. A few weeks after our wedding, we received our photos and my husband and i cried tears of joy looking through the best day of our lives. Your wedding is the fastest day of your life and to be able to relive it from the outside through these amazing photos was the best gift we could receive. Since 2017, we have used Lauren for ALL of our family shoots for holidays and special occasions. We will never look elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and contact Lauren! It will be the best decision you will ever make for your wedding!!

Hi! My name is Siobhán, pronounced shiv-awn, for anyone who hasn't heard the name before it's one of those many Irish names that does not sound anything like how its spelled! I am a photographer based in New York. At home my dog Duke is often on the other side of my camera but when its not him I love capturing real moments with couples and my clients.

Siobhan was amazing to work with. Incredibly responsive from when we reached out initially. We did an engagement shoot with her which really helped to get to know her so we were both more relaxed on the day itself. She came up with some really creative ideas on the spot that have ended up being some of my favorite photos. She catered to any ask that we had - we asked for an additional photographer close to the day itself. She also stayed beyond when I expected and capture some great photos towards the end of the night. She delivered the photos in the timeframe that she had committed too and we loved them! It was like having a friend taking the photos! Book her - you won't regret it!

After working 10+ years in corporate America in NYC, California and traveling the globe, I found myself wanting more than what the traditional career path had set for me. I stumbled into photography while I was on maternity leave with my oldest and started a side hustle that I had no idea was going to turn into a complete career change years later. From the very first wedding I shot, I knew I was onto something. And ever since then, I haven't looked back.

Hi, I'm Jaci Berkopec! A self portrait of me would include a frozen pizza, caesar salad bag, and a bottle of white wine. But more importantly I am a wedding, lifestyle and adventure elopement photographer based out of NYC. Weddings and elopements are one of my passions because witnessing love and marriage is one of the most beautiful things we can witness. When shooting with me, expect to have tons of fun and lots of laughs because I like to be weird! Life is too short to be normal! I photograph all types of love.

Jaci is really incredible. She's so talented, super professional and fun! It's important that you're comfortable with your photographer, especially on your wedding day. She allows you and your partner to relax, enjoy taking photos and let your true selves shine. We trusted her completely and loved having her by our side taking photos. She allows you to be yourself and still make you look incredible. In addition to making you feel great, she's so creative with locations and the photos are works of art. My partner and I didn't know we could look that good! We took photos with Jaci during COVID and while that added another layer of difficulty, Jaci didn't miss a beat. She was still able to instruct us while keeping distant and really made us feel comfortable. When we got the photos back we were so excited and honestly, surprised at how amazing they came out. They were better than ever expected. HIRE JACI! She will exceed your expectations. She's worth every penny (and even more!). Thank you Jaci!

Kara was a pleasure to work with! We booked her almost a year out for our September 2020 wedding. She always stayed in touch, and when the pandemic hit made sure to let us know that she is available to figure out solutions incase we cannot go through with our original plans. Kara was incredibly professional and gave us suggestions for poses, scouted photo locations, and met with us before our elopement. She was very flexible and understanding when we had to change our wedding to be smaller and then to an elopement all together. On the day of she came to photograph us on time, gave us great direction and made us feel comfortable during the whole process. It was like having a friend around, which meant a lot to us since we had o one but us on our special day due to COVID. We had so much fun shooting we didn't notice our time was up! She was so excited about our photos she send us sneak peeks within hours of our ceremony, while on her layover. Needless to say we were thrilled and amazed with the end photos she provided. She had the final gallery ready for us within the timeline she provided in her contract ( actually even earlier than we expected!) The photos were presented in an easy to access gallery where you can also print them or make them into an album. We are absolutely in LOVE with the photos she took of us! We will cherish them for the rest of our lives. Thank you Kara!

When your man hugs you so strong, that you can't breathe or when your dad is crying (for the first time in his life!) listening to your vows at the altar. I do believe, that these un-staged moments are more meaningful than classy portraits on a sunset (but no worries, you'll plenty of both!) If you feel like we are on the same page - let's talk! Write me a few words about who you are, tell me your story and let's create something beautiful together!

All the posing and picture ideas, we didn't have to worry about. And finally, the pictures came out amazing! We were so happy with the photoshoot process and the photos that we knew we wanted her to be our wedding photographer. Dasha was with us from early morning till almost midnight and we couldn't be happier! I even felt like she was one of my bridesmaids and closest friends, always helping around and making me feel less nervous! We just got our wedding pictures a few days back and we just wanted to share them all at once! We're very happy with our choice!! Thank You Dasha for everything!

Are you frustrated with combing through page after page of the same old cliche'd wedding photos? Looking for something classic and timeless but with a bit of an edge? We got you. I've been creating wedding day memories for over a decade now. New Orleans. Chicago. Minneapolis. The PNW. NYC. We travel all over this country, and even internationally, when the right opportunity presents itself, documenting love stories for our amazing couples. Our goal with each new wedding, is not to be just good or “good enough”--the goal is to be world-class, one of the top wedding photography teams in the world. Each couple helps us accomplish this.

Quality: Jay was excellent. He captured so many great moments, great candids. Anything he lined up took a beautifully natural, but edgy look. He's great at this and it shows in his work and the way he makes his subjects feel comfortable and confident during the shoot. Responsiveness: he responded to all of our inquiries immediately, the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, until the day of, always communicating. Then kept us posted on the status of the photos after... which, by the way, were done within TWO WEEKS of the wedding. He even sent us some sneak peeks a few days after so we could share on social media. Professionalism: we contacted Jay to do a boudoir shoot prior to the wedding, which is always odd and a bit nerve-wracking bringing a stranger into such a personal setting, but he was professional to the extreme, great coaching, made us laugh and feel comfortable and had us looking our best. Value: he was with us for the entire day of the wedding, trying to catalog every moment as it happened. For the price, for his style and incredible skill, for the speed of return, for HOW MANY photos we got back (over 1,000!), his value can't be beat. Flexibility: he shot our private boudoir (indoors), pre-wedding (outdoors), wedding with friends and family, around-town reception on Halloween night - vast array of settings and styles with seamless transition. The dude is just that good. You're done shopping around.

As a wedding photographer myself, I had the pleasure of working alongside my colleague Tati on a recent project, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. Her professionalism and ease in handling even the most challenging moments were truly commendable. Her keen eye for detail and ability to capture those fleeting, candid moments added depth and richness to our collective work. Tati's collaborative spirit made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better partner to share the responsibility of documenting such an important day. Their expertise and dedication undoubtedly elevated the quality of our work, and I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate again in the future.

Hi there! I’m Djaniella (or dj for short). I love storytelling, adventures, and creating connections with people. I’m attracted to a meaningful image, and being able to relive that moment in my mind. A coffee shop and an ice cream parlor is always on my list whenever I visit a new town. I love the sound of waves crashing along the shore, I love people-watching, I love basketball, I love spending time with my family, and I love good food. Thanks for visiting! Let’s work with each other :)

DJ was absolutely amazing! She was able to capture these beautiful moments from start to finish. Both my wife and I aren’t the most smiley but because of DJ working with us and talking it through with us at our engagement session by the time we got to our wedding day it was so effortless. We absolutely love the pictures but we love the ones of our family even more. She absolutely photographed my family which had darker skin tones beautifully which was one of my concerns when looking for a photographer but DJ did amazing and we have these stunning photographs to forever remember the day. She herself is so kind and delightful and is so cool to work with and worked so well with our other vendors too.

My name is Charles R. Bullard, and Tell Your Story Studios allows you to get impactful photos that capture memorial moments in your life. I aim to ensure you feel exceptional and natural when I capture a piece of your life's journey in a fun and colorful look. Celebrating the next chapter in your life should be one you constantly want to look back at and smile. Finding the right photographer to work with is essential. Trust and comfortability make the dynamics between the client and the photographer create magic. Like looking for the perfect pair of shoes to an outfit. It makes you look great, feel confident, and represent your style.

I am beyond thrilled with the incredible work of Tell Your Story Studios! Initially, hiring him to capture our engagement was one of our best decisions, and calling him again to photograph our wedding in October was an absolute no-brainer. From the first moment we met Charles, he impressed us with his professionalism, creativity, and passion for photography. His ability to capture the essence of our relationship and the emotions of our special moments is genuinely remarkable. Our engagement photos turned out beautifully, and they perfectly captured the joy and excitement of that milestone in our lives. If you're looking for a photographer who will go above and beyond to capture the magic of your special moments, look no further. We cant wait for our wedding day.

Hey future newlyweds! I'm Jarrod, a wedding photographer that specializes in story telling. Tired of all the bright, overposed, cookie cutter sh*t you keep seeing? Let's create wedding images with real emotion, story, and intention to them. I know being in front of the camera can be awkward. That's why I choose not to pose couples, but instead prompt you to do something like "take off your shoes and run across the field" or " get inside the car and kiss everywhere except the lips". These prompts will help you feel comfortable and also help create candid images. Check out my website for more info :)

Jarrod did an amazing job on our wedding day! We were so very grateful to have him there with us. He was absolutely amazing and did a great job collaborating with our other vendors and coordinating logistics and timing of what we wanted to have done. We were so happy that we got videography done for our big day- feels like we’re reliving it each time we watch it! Highly recommend and very worth it!!!

We’re Anton & Natalie - your new adventure buddies! On our first date we spent the day doing what we love most, getting outside. That’s also how we spent our wedding day, and most other significant, life-altering moments in our relationship. We fundamentally believe that the best day of your life should be spent doing what makes your heart sing. You’re not here because you don’t care about your day, you’re here because you care more. You don’t want the ordinary and traditional. You want care more about experiences rather than material possessions. You want the authentic, intimate, and intentional day which focuses on YOU as a couple.

Awarded Best of Zola
Natalie and Anton were fantastic. They were super easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable with all things COVID. Our wedding was smaller than originally planned and they just made working with them so easy. They did a fantastic job the day off and we got our pictures back way sooner than I expected. They are great!! Can’t wait to work with them again next year.

A dad, a son, a brother and a jack of all trades musician that loves to rock out any chance I get. I grew up in New York City. My inclination towards photography came from classic street photography and photojournalists from all over the world that told their stories through a lens. It made me pick up a camera and start shooting. Now, living in Maryland I shoot all sorts of stories and moments locally, domestically, and abroad. It's taken me a while to figure out what my "thing" is but I've come to figure out that I'm a milestone photographer. The moments your life that have proven to be meaningful -- I'll be there.

Sam was not only the best vendor we worked with but also the most fun. Non stop laughing. We forgot to bring a bluetooth speaker while we were getting ready, Sam had it covered. My husband needed a button restitched, Sam had a sowing kit in the car. The man is prepared for absolutely everything. The only thing I regret was not finding him sooner. He has since become out family photographer and several of our guests have booked already. Cheers!!!

Eugene did an amazing job for us at our wedding shoot. Helping with all aspects of the shoot, getting the most out of the location, and the pics with individual family members. He got fantastic pics with our 1-year-old son, which isn’t easy. He was polite and courteous throughout kindly guiding us to get beautiful pictures that we treasure. The end result was much more than we could have imagined!

Melissa photographed our May 2022 wedding, and I would definitely recommend her! We first contacted Melissa after a friend referred us to her.  Melissa was consistently communicative, agile, and punctual throughout the entire process.  Her vibe aligned exactly with what we were seeking, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The quality and style of her images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s both modern and timeless.   The connection and ease we found with her shows through in the final product.  Melissa’s eye for detail is astounding, and beyond her technical expertise, she is a joy to work with.  We have the most beautiful and unrushed photos from our magical, big day.  If you’re looking for a cheap photographer, Melissa definitely isn’t the one for you. But if you value photography and want someone who is a master of their craft and a true professional all-round, look no further.  Plus, she offers something that not all photographers can – true artistry.  Our wedding photos are completely unique to us and our event, we framed a print that hangs over our couch and receives frequent compliments. We also purchased a fine art album which is quite simply a work of art. We will cherish these photos forever. Thank you, Melissa Marx Photography!

I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world! All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camcorder or camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera + tons of film. I documented everything. When film turned into digital, that was a turning point in my life. Since then, my memories, large + small, have been organized on my computer, by year. So I can go back + revisit so many wonderful memories from my life...most which I wouldn't remember without pictures!

My husband and I got married at the start of the pandemic. Who would’ve thought that not long after I met the man of my dreams the world would be turned on its head! But there we were, starting a new life together during an uncertain time. Our wedding plans went through many changes as you would imagine. But Nicole was understanding, and did her best to work with our requests. She seemed to be just as excited about our plans as we were. My husband and I both agreed that she was easy to reach, and she was always very pleasant whenever we did so. She actually showed up to my wedding before I did! I would positively recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for a special event. I’m very pleased with how the pictures came out. I would like to hire her again to do some family photos.
