For context, I have been photographing portraits for 10 years and have photographed two weddings. There's a LOT that goes into both weddings and good photos so we (I, haha!) were really picky when choosing a wedding photographer. I was going through some major health issues at the time of my bridal portraits and just didn't feel or fully look like myself. Emma found a way to make me look stunning. -- I'm really proud of these photos and will show them to every and anyone who asks (or not, haha!). She truly helped me feel beautiful in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, Canyon & Pine's thoughtful and personable demeanor helped us stay calm and focused on enjoying the moment. The quality of their work was absolute perfection - they captured every detail with incredible precision. Nothing was overlooked and they took great care to make sure every single feeling was highlighted throughout the day (and there were a lot!). Special and priceless moments were constantly caught on camera despite the craziness of the day. On our day, there was a significant issue with the coordinator that threatened to derail the whole wedding. Emma stepped in and saved the day, ensuring our wedding ran smoothly and playing the part of coordinator and photographer. What do you imagine your wedding to be like? Imagination is a nice gift we have. It helps us building our identities and shaping our individual uniqueness. Imagining carries a degree of anticipation, depending on our past experiences and who we are, of how something that hasn't happened yet is going to be when it actually happens. Like traveling to a place where we've never been before and we take photos of its landscapes and people living there: we tend to capture in those photographs how we had imagined that place. A wedding is a destination in the journey of life, perhaps the most important one.
