We also found their offerings to be at a great value. Their communication, attention to detail, and rates make it clear that their heart and passion is in the coffee and connection. They made a custom menu for us and, in addition to standard offerings, had decaf, alternative milks, flavor syrups, chai, teas, and hot cocoa available. There was absolutely something for everyone! The Elm Roastery coffee cart would be a lovely addition to any gathering, but for us personally, it was also a great way to offer something fun and new drink-wise after a late lunch as we did not have alcohol at our celebration. If you are also looking at throwing a sober wedding (or any other kind of wedding), I would highly recommend and consider having the Elm coffee cart! “For my son and daughter-in-law's wedding at Greenpoint Loft in the spring, we hosted 170 guests and ultimately chose Melody and the Eventfull team. We started our search over a year in advance, and Melody immediately stood out. Over the course of what must have been a thousand emails, she remained exceptionally responsive, positive and accommodating to every unique idea we proposed. Her extensive experience and deep familiarity with the nuances of Greenpoint Loft—a beautiful but raw and empty warehouse space requiring everything from ovens to tables to be brought in—were invaluable. Melody navigated our complex culinary vision with ease. Late in the planning process, the couple decided on appetizers from their favorite Korean restaurant and dinner from a preferred Italian spot. Melody took complete charge of this logistical challenge, coordinating directly with the restaurant chefs to manage food quantities, delivery timing, plating, and presentation. Her ability to oversee the kitchen and timing for external vendors was truly incredible. Beyond catering, Melody managed all rentals—including tables, linens, servingware and silverware—and flawlessly executed the bar setup with our provided alcohol. Her team handled every detail, from setting tables with name cards and menus to diligently tracking guest food allergies. The day was seamless thanks to Melody’s proactive communication with our other vendors and day-of wedding coordinator. From the first conversation all the way through the end of the event, everything was handled with so much professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Planning an event can be stressful, especially when you’re trying to make sure the food, setup, timing, and overall experience come together the way you imagined. The team at Maison D made the entire process feel so much easier. They listened to what we wanted, communicated with us throughout the process, and were very accommodating when it came to the little details that mattered to us. The food was honestly one of the highlights of the event. Everything tasted fresh, was seasoned really well, and the presentation was beautiful. “I had the chance to work with Renee at one of my client's engagement party where she managed the bar and food service for a big swanky summer barbeque. The setup was smooth, her team was incredibly competent, and the bar was a major hit with the guests. “As soon as we visited On the Marc for our food tasting, we knew that the food would be fantastic—and more on that in a minute—but OTM really set itself apart with the service. They greeted our guests with flavored waters when they arrived (hugely helpful for a mid-summer wedding), had servers ready with drinks and food as soon as cocktail hour started, prepared an appetizer platter for a quick private moment as newlyweds, and much much more. A few things stick out over all though: first, the servers were so attentive that they realized a friend of mine was absolutely smashing one of the appetizers and kept bringing those to her (even learning to take the mint leaf off as she did). Second, they rolled with the punches as we realized we may have screwed up some food placards, accommodating our request to check with each guest to make sure we had it right. Third, they had servers march out all at the same time to bring courses during dinner services, a super-professional touch which gave the service a white-glove-service feel. The food was delicious, and everyone kept commenting on it (even on the dance floor where they brought desserts!!). Overall, the food was amazing, the only thing better than the food was the service, and we highly recommend OTM to anyone considering them!”

“My husband and I are food people, and from the start, we knew we wanted our wedding to feel like hosting a large, intimate dinner party rather than a traditional catered event. Everyone says wedding food is never great—we took that as a challenge. Marlow Events ultimately delivered a meal our guests are still talking about (especially the carrots, and the She Wolf bread, which reached near-legendary status). When we began our venue search, food was our starting point. Through some Instagram sleuthing, we discovered that Marlow Events catered at Shell’s Loft—and given how much we adore their restaurants (Marlow & Daughters, Borgo, Roman’s), it felt like a natural fit. Once we confirmed they were fully integrated with the venue, it felt like a no-brainer. Our initial tasting was exciting and reassuring, and we felt confident moving forward based on the quality of the food and hospitality. We had a very specific vision and requested a few nuanced elements—specialty cheeses, particular preparations, and thoughtful details. Some of these were beautifully executed, others evolved differently than expected, but overall it was a collaborative process. On the wedding day itself, the food was excellent. Guests raved about the meal, the pacing was thoughtful, and the experience aligned with exactly what we hoped to create—warm, generous, and centered around great food. That’s what we’ll remember most. That said, future couples should be aware that Marlow Events operates under a unique contract structure, and fees can be higher than typical industry standards. While we had a wonderful experience working with our original contact, the later planning stages introduced some challenges—particularly around fee clarity and flexibility—which required more back-and-forth than anticipated. These conversations were not always handled with the same level of grace we experienced earlier in the process, and navigating them took patience. In the end, the meal and experience were truly special, and we’re grateful for the food we shared with our friends and family. If food is central to your wedding vision and you’re excited by a restaurant-driven approach, Marlow Events can deliver something memorable—just be sure to review the contract carefully and allow extra time for alignment in the final planning stretch”

“From our first call to the day of our wedding, Lorrielle's was always there when we needed them. They responded right away to every question and made planning feel simple and stress-free. The food was fresh and delicious, and their team thought through every detail from decorations to helping us find lodging for our guests. What really impressed us was their crew—there were enough people on staff to handle everything, even keeping the bathrooms spotless all night. When our photographer accidentally broke one of our flower arrangements, they cleaned it up instantly and turned the broken flowers into petals for our flower girl to toss.
