“Magnolia was a dream for me and my husband!! I was very discouraged by the venue search and had almost given up when I stumbled across Magnolia. It looked so gorgeous I was afraid the pictures were misleading me. But while the outside doesn’t look like much when you drive up, inside it’s a fairytale world. We were in love from the moment we saw it, and all my guests were stunned. The space felt rustic and secluded—like you’re out in the woods somewhere with the sound of the river all around you. And Magnolia has built up the property with an elegance that makes it even more dreamlike. And I can’t say enough about the venue coordinator, Cheyenne! She literally worked miracles to make it possible for us to have our wedding there. This woman is sharp and incredibly knowledgeable and organized. Her recommendations and tips saved me so much. She’s super honest and upfront about things, and she does her best to take the stress and pressure of the wedding off of you. She also is very caring. Throughout the entire process, she was attentive, and I felt like she cared about me as a person, not just another client. On the day-of, she created space for my husband and I in the bustle and went out of her way to help with whatever we, or the wedding party, needed. It never felt like having a stranger around, and I knew I could trust her to handle any mishap. I highly, highly recommend her wedding planning services even if you don’t end up using the venue itself. Some tips: I personally think Magnolia works better for smaller, more intimate weddings. We had about 60 people, which filled the space nicely, but I have trouble imagining how the max amount of people (120) would fit on the dance floor. I wouldn’t recommend having a lot of vendors and tech either. I think it would clash with the space. We also really enjoyed renting out cabins for our wedding party. The rooms are nice, and it allowed us to soak in the weekend. Another great thing: the property is the perfect size for getting cool photos—small enough to walk but large enough to find lots of lovely locations. Definitely take advantage of that! I highly recommend Magnolia. I don’t know how our wedding could have been more beautiful or peaceful, and I thank all the staff at Magnolia for caring for us.”

“We had the best day of our lives at the Madison Hotel! We actually found them through Zola, having never heard of them before. When we toured, we fell in love with the Conservatory, which is ultimately where we had our ceremony and reception. The day was amazing - the food was delicious (and there was so much of it!), the hotel was beautiful, and it was convenient having our guests onsite for all activities (like our after party). I only deducted one star due to communication; I felt like most of the communication was driven by us, such as scheduling our final venue walkthrough. Everyone was very helpful, but I would have liked a bit more communication as a type A planner. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a better celebration of our love.”

“As a wedding officiant, I've had the pleasure of working with many venues, but The Olde Mille Inn truly stands out as an iconic, singular celebration site. From the moment you step into the inn itself or its historic restaurant, "The Grain House", (recently voted one of the most romantic restaurants in NJ!), you feel the warmth and hospitality they're famous for! There are so many pretty photo backdrops in every season! Having a beautiful, dog-friendly hotel on site so the wedding parties and family can gather and celebrate together is another amazing bonus that helps the day run seamlessly! Their people are just phenomenal, from their planning staff to the day-of coordination. They go above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect, allowing couples to truly relax and enjoy their wedding celebration. Literally, nothing is left up to chance! For couples seeking a truly personalized ceremony and reception, I can't recommend the Olde Mill highly enough. They're incredibly accommodating and flexible, allowing you to create a day that reflects your unique love story. (And they have the best fried calamari in the state!) I'd encourage any couple searching for the perfect wedding setting to begin their search here. It may be the first and last place you tour!”

My guests felt so taken care of and absolutely loved the grounds, the food, the service and the lodging. Kate and John were an absolute pleasure to work with and really went above and beyond to help make our big day memorable. Andrea’s service at the rehearsal dinner was unmatched! We tattooed each other at the alter and had greek dancers preform after dinner; John immediately asked what we needed so he could get it done. “My husband and I had our wedding here this June and the team at The Arnold House was so amazing to work with throughout the process. I truly do not think we would have had as great of a weekend if we had done it anywhere else. Everything felt very personally cared for, they approach everything with a 'yes' attitude (and offered comparable alternatives if option A was truly not possible), and in general they were so hospitable and communicative that we never felt nervous about their ability to execute the wedding weekend. By the time we were heading into our wedding weekend we felt nothing but excitement to experience and see everything we and the AH team had planned and to share it all with our friends and families. As a venue itself there are a myriad of options to choose from for hosting all the different parts of a full wedding weekend, and we never needed to repeat using a location over the course of the 7 different scheduled events (rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, farewell brunch). It was great being able to host the majority of our guests on-site as well, and minimized the amount of coordination we needed to plan in advance for off-site guests, like hotel blocks and transportation.”
