The venue staff were friendly, responded to emails and calls in a very timely manner, and kept communications concise and helpful leading up to the big day. For the Poconos area, we found Stroudsmoor to be very affordable for both the ceremony and reception. The food was fantastic - all of our guests raved about it! The servers were also excellent, very professional and attentive throughout the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our special day. “Magnolia was a dream for me and my husband!! I was very discouraged by the venue search and had almost given up when I stumbled across Magnolia. It looked so gorgeous I was afraid the pictures were misleading me. But while the outside doesn’t look like much when you drive up, inside it’s a fairytale world. We were in love from the moment we saw it, and all my guests were stunned. The space felt rustic and secluded—like you’re out in the woods somewhere with the sound of the river all around you. And Magnolia has built up the property with an elegance that makes it even more dreamlike. And I can’t say enough about the venue coordinator, Cheyenne! She literally worked miracles to make it possible for us to have our wedding there. This woman is sharp and incredibly knowledgeable and organized. Her recommendations and tips saved me so much. She’s super honest and upfront about things, and she does her best to take the stress and pressure of the wedding off of you. She also is very caring. Throughout the entire process, she was attentive, and I felt like she cared about me as a person, not just another client. On the day-of, she created space for my husband and I in the bustle and went out of her way to help with whatever we, or the wedding party, needed. It never felt like having a stranger around, and I knew I could trust her to handle any mishap. I highly, highly recommend her wedding planning services even if you don’t end up using the venue itself. Some tips: I personally think Magnolia works better for smaller, more intimate weddings. We had about 60 people, which filled the space nicely, but I have trouble imagining how the max amount of people (120) would fit on the dance floor. I wouldn’t recommend having a lot of vendors and tech either. I think it would clash with the space. We also really enjoyed renting out cabins for our wedding party. The rooms are nice, and it allowed us to soak in the weekend. Another great thing: the property is the perfect size for getting cool photos—small enough to walk but large enough to find lots of lovely locations. Definitely take advantage of that! I highly recommend Magnolia. I don’t know how our wedding could have been more beautiful or peaceful, and I thank all the staff at Magnolia for caring for us.”

“Kelly and his small team were absolutely fantastic to work with! We had a 50-60 person wedding there in August. The venders list and recommendations they provided were absolutely key in planning our out of state wedding in only a few months. We had an unexpected last minute change in lead photographer and they made sure she could see the venue a few days prior to get the lay of the land. They were able to make special accommodations for handicapped guests. Their day of coordination made sure the day of went off without a hitch which left us stress free. Lastly, from the barn to the ceremony site and everything in between was absolutely picturesque truly an amazing venue and experience all around for our special day!”

“Taken from an email that we sent to Lori, the event coordinator @Memorytown! “Whew, it's been a week since our big event, and we are still recovering! :) Please know that we are so grateful for you (especially you! you really took care of us!), your service, your staff (Curtis the bartenders and servers) , and all of the intricate workings that made "our" event for our only daughter a tremendous success! Jake and I can't believe how seamless everything was, and there was not one thing that disrupted our special day! From the vendors, to the cake, and the dinner, everything was amazing! Even the weather decided to cooperate as the day progressed! Our friends and family had such a wonderful time and have complimented the event, as the most fun wedding ever! Thank you again and again! Somehow I missed the entire cocktail hour with regard to seeing and eating the buffet; but I relished the passed horderves! I hope Katie took pictures of it inside! “Our wedding at Shawnee was nothing short of magical. Our wedding took place on October 5, 2024, at Shawnee Inn. From the moment we secured the venue, Tabitha was incredibly supportive and consistently available to assist us. We hosted our entire wedding weekend at this location, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Upon our arrival on Thursday, Jorge welcomed us warmly and provided invaluable assistance in transporting our wedding items to the conference room. On Friday, our guests participated in a round of golf, with JJ and Nick playing a pivotal role in organizing the outing. That evening, we held a welcome barbecue for all attendees, where the food was fantastic and the staff exemplary. On the morning of our wedding, we were treated to brunch while we prepared for the ceremony. Tabitha checked in frequently to ensure everything was proceeding smoothly. Our wedding ceremony was held outdoors on the lawn, which was breathtaking. It was followed by cocktail hour under the pavilion, which was truly stunning. The food and service during the cocktail hour were outstanding, with LaCresha ensuring that we, the brides, were well-fed and had drinks in hand. The reception took place in the main ballroom, where the dinner was delicious and the staff continued to impress us with their service. We concluded the celebration at the Brewery, where the staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. It was a flawless day, and we are immensely grateful to everyone involved. We had no complaints whatsoever. The following day, we hosted a farewell brunch on the front porch, and once again, the staff was attentive, and the food was remarkable. The bloody mary bar was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the wonderful time they had at Shawnee. The hotel itself is beautiful and exudes charm; although it is an older establishment, it possesses a unique character. The friendly and helpful staff significantly enhanced our special day. We highly recommend Shawnee to anyone seeking a memorable venue.”

“I enjoy visiting Tom Quick Inn in Milford for occasional dinner, glass of wine, dessert. A decision to choose this venue for my daughter Quinceanera came to ma easy. It was a great choice. The communication with my event coordinator, Keighla, was great. We had few in person meetings, communicated via email or phone. She helped me adjust the menu to create what I wanted for that special day. I felt taken care of in any way possible by her. It felt great to meet the chef, Mike, who was in charge of the meal preparation, before the event and to be able to discuss the menu with him. He become another person I could turn too, if I had any questions. The venue accommodated my needs to decorate the venue the night before event. The event itself was fabulous. The day was warm as for late October, the colorful trees surrounding the restaurant, allowed us to take nice pictures in the nature. The food, as expected... delicious. Guest left the event happy, with full tummies. As for me... It felt as if I just had a wedding I never had. From our very first visit through to our wedding day, the owners and staff were an absolute pleasure to work with—professional, detail-oriented, and consistently communicative throughout the whole planning process. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy a stress-free experience. Our coordinator, Samantha, was exceptional from start to finish, and a special thank-you goes to our bridal attendant, Diane, who anticipated every need and ensured everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food—both the cocktail hour and dinner were outstanding—and our cake, created by Stefanie, was as beautiful as it was delicious. “We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.”

“My husband and I were married at Settlers Inn this October and could not have picked a better venue! The ceremony and reception were held in the undercroft room, which is a beautifully decorated room with a cozy fireplace for guests to enjoy. Our wedding planner, Tammy was amazing and was available for last minute planning calls and quickly responded to emails. The staff at Settlers are very friendly and accommodating. Our guests were very impressed! We could not recommend Settlers more!”

“If I could leave 100 stars I would. Sydney was my coordinator and major shout out to her for helping me stay on track with planning and helping everything move along. The day of was stress-free, not a thing went wrong, and they made everything so seamless and looks so effortless. Audrey was our attendant and she was on the ball. They just made everything so fun, high energy and stress-free. Carmelo was running things during the reception and honestly, I don’t think anything could’ve gone better. Every person that came to my wedding said that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The food was outstanding. The staff was incredible. The venue itself is just absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

Trout Lake

“From the moment we first reached out to Trout Lake, their communication was quick, helpful and supportive. The space for our whole day was absolutely stunning - great for our guests as they could be inside or outdoors enjoying the beautiful scenery. The bridal attendants were so thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed on the day, including making sure we had plenty of food to taste during our photos. Trout Lake truly went above and beyond for us, and the whole staff was incredible, making our day so special. “I would highly recommended The Pond at Triplebrook! The grounds are extremely clean and well cared for. The cabins they offer for overnight guests are darling and extremely clean. Ozzy's and her staff were overtime to make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. They even helped set out our decorations. I can't say enough great things about this place. Weddings are stressful and Ozzy tries her best to take as much pressure as possible. This place is gorgeous and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.”

From their excellent, prompt, and genuine communication leading up to the event, to the incredible value and quality of their unique, rustic, and historic property, we could not have asked for a better experience. Our coordinator, Jenn, was absolutely amazing. She and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Jenn was organized, responsive, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Her calm and confident presence made planning so much less stressful, and on the day of, she was a total rockstar — making sure every detail was perfect so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. The staff overall was incredible — attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They made us and our guests feel so well taken care of. Speaking of our guests, they are still raving about the food and the views! The cocktail hour spread was unreal, and the dinner was equally impressive. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking — it gave our wedding the perfect backdrop and made for some stunning photos and unforgettable memories. A huge part of what made our day so unforgettable was the incredible service provided by the Director, Nick Serraino. From our very first meeting, Nick went above and beyond to ensure all your requests were accepted. He was incredibly kind, and always available to answer questions (which we had many of) or offer help! “Lake Mohawk Country Club was a fantastic venue for our wedding. Their communication style was very flexible - they were happy to chat with us over email or get on a call whenever we had questions. They went above and beyond, unpacking all of our wedding decor and setting it up perfectly. The food was also delicious! If I had to say one negative thing (just so you know this is real.) ... was the cost of the bridal suite and the den, which felt a bit high.
