“I would definitely recommend my sugar wishes especially if you have a food sensitivity. Connie is very easy to work with and a great experience overall. I ended up having two complimentary Cake tastings with her, at the first meeting I expressed interest in two flavors that she did not have prepared gluten-free at the time So we did a second tasting and she made them GF I also brought some of my floral with me and we were able to confirm the floral display for the cake, which took a lot of stress off me the day of my wedding since I did not have to worry about my wedding cake.”

“Don't think twice - book A.M. Productions for your wedding now!! We knew how crucial it was to book the right DJ & entertainment to deliver the energy we wanted for our wedding and they EXCEEDED our expectations. We got married in April 2025 and had DJ Forum (Alex) mixing and emceeing. Aaron (the owner) also graciously came through to ensure a smooth event. We came to learn about A.M. through a recommendation from our wedding planner. It was also validating to later see them on our venue's (The Peach Orchard) preferred vendor list! During consultation, we were drawn to their extensive services/add-ons, quality of work, and competitive pricing. We selected their Super Star package (most popular) and chose subwoofers and advanced uplighting. We also added on their photo booth which was exactly what we needed - a backdrop, self-service, no props, digital gallery, present the entire wedding, and the convenience of having it handled by the same team. Leading up to our wedding day, the A.M. production team were well-organized and provide you with a wealth of tips, resources, and instructions. We filled out their comprehensive "Wedding DJ Planner" sheet that helps them prepare and provided them playlists of 10-15 songs each for cocktail hour, dinner service, and dance floor (we used Spotify) to help inspire the mood/energy we were looking for. The wedding day was FLAWLESS! They went above and beyond, surprising us with moving heads AND a CO2 gun which was a crowd favorite. DJ Forum read the crowd amazingly and his mixes were fire. Our guests spoke very highly of them - with some intending to book A.M. for their own weddings in the future! “Let me first say this venue is absolutely stunning! My fiance' and I were looking for a place that needed minimal decor and we stunted across Ashton Gardens will looking through The Knot. The chapel is gorgeous and the windows really do set the tone for an elegant wedding! The reception hall which is just a few steps away is equally beautiful, not needing really anything at all to enhance the look. My wedding planner is Sheila and she has been fabulous along the way. With the being my FIRST and ONLY marriage, I have so many questions and believe me I had emailed Sheila probably more than I text my fiance, but she is super sweet and has answered every question I had without any hesitation. The service is amazing and I really could have not prayed for a better venue; mind you I looked at 30 locations across the Texas area.”

“Jackie was hands down the sweetest lady to work with! She is so talented at what she does. The BEST MU artist. My group of girls were definitely a hand full to work with (as a bride, I let them choose to pay for their own H&MU if they wished to have it done, and a few changed their minds wanting both services done, and Jackie accommodated each girl without hesitation and made a new timeline for us). I was going insane, but she made working with her run so smoothly it put my mind at ease. Jackie is very professional, well mannered, shows up on time, and gives you EXACTLY the look you are wanting. She seriously shows up for all her clients, even if it means waking up at the crack of dawn to glam an event and then drive hours to come and glam you (the bride and your party), she shows up!! “Alchemy Bake Lab provided the mini cake and mini desserts for our wedding a few weekends ago. We had SO much fun coming to the bakery for our tasting! They really made us feel so special. “We got married in April here and it was amazing! The venue is beautiful and there is a lot of space. My planner, Madison, was very helpful during the process and would answer any questions I had. Our coordinators Janeen and Jackie were awesome! They helped make the day flow perfectly and if we needed anything they were on top of it! The DJ was great as well and was included in the package. The only compliant I have was that they ran out of food even though less people showed up then in our final guest count. We got the steak option and it was delicious but the portions they gave out were small and they somehow still ran out...”

“AvantGarden (and Mariana, the owner) did a great job with our wedding, especially considering the extreme weather we experienced! We appreciated that the venue was mostly all-inclusive, especially when planning the event from out of town, and for a very reasonable price! The event space itself has a casual, fun vibe with plenty of room for our guests (175) to explore and excellent food and drinks. Many of our guests made a point to come up to us and tell us how much fun they had and how awesome the venue was, and we were shocked by how many people said the taco truck (venue recommendation) was the best wedding food they had ever had! The staff was great and made some excellent cocktails and I also have to shout out DJ Dillon for bringing such a fun vibe to our karaoke after party (another Mariana recommendation). You do need to put your faith in Mariana and be prepared to "let go", however. If you're looking to be very hands-on and are particular about all the little details, prepare to be frustrated because that's not the way Mariana works. She has her own process and knows what will and will not work based on experience, and she can be tricky to get in touch with until closer to the wedding date. Ultimately, though, she came through and did an excellent job for us. Trust in Mariana! Overall, it was super helpful that AvantGarden took care of most of the wedding planning (including delivering our flowers to our off-site ceremony venue), and the space made for such a fun atmosphere during the reception. I would definitely recommend AvantGarden as a wedding venue, especially for couples who are looking for a less stuffy and more unique atmosphere and who are looking to be more hands-off in the planning process.”

“Manny was one of THE BEST vendors that I hired for my wedding! From the moment that we met at an open house, he was incredibly professional, warm and kind, and the most supportive person! I also really was drawn to his photography style, which was bright and colorful and had amazing composition. Upon hiring him, he provided the most detailed photography guide I’ve ever received with a myriad of wedding tips so I was already so impressed from the very beginning. Manny both took my bridals and did photography for our wedding. For my bridals, we were looking to do a Spanish vibe and so we planned a location in San Antonio that was colorful and vibrant. The day of, he was quick on his feet to pivot plans when our original location ended up being too crowded, and I actually ended up LOVING our second location even more. During the entire session, he had so many great ideas for poses, and also helped my mom get involved while she helped me with my dress. The shots he took blew me away! The colors, the poses, my dress, the flowers - he captured everything so perfectly! Come wedding day, Manny and his assistant were so on top of every single moment and pose - making sure that we captured all the important moments and the fun little ones in between. He had so many ideas for things to capture and helped my bridal party and family with a variety of poses. My bridal party raved how much they loved Manny and how comfortable he made everyone feel while taking photos. Wherever we were, there was Manny or his assistant making sure they got the shot. We got the sneak peeks a week later and the full set almost two months later and again, I was blown away with all the photos! From the details to the dancing, he captured so many fun and great moments that we’ll cherish forever! I promise you Manny is THE PHOTOGRAPHER you want to hire, hands down! His professionalism, talent, playful attitude, and passion for what he does will make him your favorite vendor that you’ll hire!”

“We absolutely ADORE Carlos Ramirez and his Photo Booth Assistant, Sofia! It was sheer luck that we found him, and he was absolutely perfect in every way. Carlos made contact with us regularly, walked us through how to use the Vibo app, worked with our venue coordinators at Crystal Ballroom at the Rice (Alexis Kent), worked with our planners at Whimsical Creative (Jen Molina), had a week-of call to finalize details and asked us all the right questions, listened to all our needs, and gave great suggestions for things that made our night special that never would have even occurred to us! Oh… and the lighting he provided in the ballroom was spectacular! Our venue and planner are even adding him to their preferred vendor list, which makes me so happy to know. I really can’t praise Carlos and Sofia enough! They read the crowd with perfect accuracy. The dance floor was never empty, and the photo booth was in constant use. Our guests had an absolute blast!
