Hi, I'm Emily - a journalism major drop-out turned wedding photographer that loves all things editorial and story telling. Think back to any impactful photo you've seen in the media, the key to remembering it is that it made you *feel* something, and that's what I strive to bring forward in the wedding photography industry.

Wedding photography should be a lot of things, but it shouldn't be emotionless. So much of wedding photography in 2024 is "go here. stand here. do this" and then the picture is taken. When you look back, you remember it wasn't a real moment. On the other end, you don't deserve a photographer that leaves you flailing around all day wondering what to do! That would suck. So, that's where we find our passion - in creating real, beautiful, images that tell your story without making it feel like a photoshoot, while making you feel comfortable behind the camera at the same time.     Amazing Wedding Photographer!

    We loved working with Emily Michelle Photography to capture our wedding day! From the beginning, Emily was incredibly communicative and made everything stress-free from start to finish. Her array of packages give you numerous options to fit any of your photography needs and she provides guides, tips and advice as you approach your big day. On our wedding day Lauren, our lead photographer, and Devin, our second shooter, were absolutely wonderful! They brought such great energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to every moment. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and had so many fun and natural posing ideas. What stood out the most was the effort they put into capturing the simple, authentic, genuine moments throughout the day. We are so grateful for their talent and care and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for photographers who are both professional and passionate about what they do!

    The EMP team was AMAZING throughout our entire wedding process. From the initial time of booking, the EMP team sent over multiple emails with important/helpful information and they were always responsive via text. On the day of our wedding the team was extremely attentive and made sure that our day was going according to what was important to us. They were great with any photos we asked for and efficiently captured all our big moments and still managed to get the overall vibe of our large 200 person wedding. They were calm throughout the day and made it easy for myself, my groom, our families and our wedding party to relax and be authentic. I could not recommend the EMP team enough!!

    Amazing experience!!

    Emily shot our engagement photos and it was such a great experience! She was so flexible with some enforceable hiccups involving the sheriffs department landing a helicopter where we were taking photos! Lauren was the lead photographer on our wedding day and she was amazing! She was calm cool and collected! She had great posing ideas and was eager to capture all of the photos and poses I had selected!

    BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER

    We booked Emily Michelle Photography for our wedding and couldn't have made a better choice. From our first conversation, Allison was easy to work with and really listened to what we wanted for our photos. On the big day, she had such a calming presence that my husband and I felt completely at ease in front of the camera. She took charge of everything and we didn't have to worry about a thing—she just did her thing and nailed it. The photos turned out unbelievable; we look so good and she captured every moment perfectly. If you're in the setx area, you should definitely book with them.

    Amazing experience!

    Emily and her second shooter Devin were AMAZING to work with at our wedding. My now husband and I got pretty nervous right before the ceremony and Emily did a great job at helping us loosen up in front of the camera. Her personality is hilarious and the good humor did wonders for keeping the vibes high with our wedding party and family. I got several comments on how fun she was to work with. She has such an eye for detail, and her editing style is exactly what I had been searching high and low for when trying to find a photographer (which took me MONTHSSS). Also by far the most responsive vendor I had. Could not recommend EMP enough!
