Ana Carita is a professional violinist with over 30 years of performance experience, now based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Originally from the West Coast of Canada, she trained at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and in Contemporary Music + Technology at Selkirk College in Nelson, BC. Her artistry reflects a versatile and refined approach to live performance, blending classical, contemporary, folk, jazz, modern pop, and timeless classics to suit weddings, events, and cultural engagements throughout Tampa and Central West Florida.

I’ve spent close to 30 years behind the decks and have DJ’d more than 1,500 weddings. I’ve worked traditional, multicultural, religious, themed weddings, as well as Bar and Bat Mitzvah, unconventional and wonderfully quirky celebrations, along with major corporate, political and private events. I love the challenge of bringing very different people together through music. Every event is different, and my job is to listen, understand what matters to you, build the right musical experience, and keep the reception moving naturally.
