DJ Rx Studios started overseas after a friend introduced me to DJing, and I quickly fell in love with the way music brings people together. “DJ Rx” combines that passion with my lifelong calling as a Doctor of Pharmacy. Just as I believe healthcare starts with understanding people, I believe great events do too. Music has always been a source of healing, connection, and celebration for me. Now, I get to share that feeling with others—one dance floor, celebration, and unforgettable memory at a time.

You're not just hiring someone to play music. I take a vested interest in you, your vision, and what will make your event feel uniquely yours. I personally invest the time to listen, prepare, and focus on the details so you can enjoy the moment.     ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We cannot recommend Matt with DJ RX highly enough! From the moment he arrived to set up on the beach for our June 26, 2026 wedding in Navarre, Florida, everything was handled professionally and flawlessly. Matt went above and beyond to make sure our beach ceremony had perfect sound, despite the unique challenges of an outdoor venue. Every word of our ceremony was heard clearly, and the music created the perfect atmosphere as we exchanged our vows overlooking the Gulf. The reception was just as incredible. Matt kept the energy high, read the crowd perfectly, and had our family and friends on the dance floor all night. He seamlessly transitioned between heartfelt moments and high-energy celebrations, making the evening unforgettable for everyone.     DJ Rx Studios delivered an incredible experience at our Annual Domi Awards event. The music selection flowed seamlessly with the event and kept the energy exactly where it needed to be all night. Our guests especially loved the added elements like the photo booth and strobe lights, which brought a unique and memorable touch to the evening. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10 experience!!

    Matt is an awesome DJ! Never a dull moment on the dance floor. Offers great variety and can cater to any music style! Would recommend for any type of event.

Yes, we have fully supported liability insurance, which may be required by your venue. When booking, please ensure that you provide our information to your point of contact at the venue so we can coordinate and provide these documents (or other requirements) to them as requested.
Normally, the goal is for ~2 hours in advance of the event for preparation and set-up. There may be instances where coming earlier or more closer to the event will occur.
Absolutely! Just let me know as we begin working together as to what your preferences are. If you have a playlist of sample songs/artists, that will be a huge support in ensuring that we are on track with what you are looking for. The set list is never a secret, so we can always share and discuss it with you as we go.
Short answer - yes. For most events, travel fees are already set in the price. We have been asked to perform at venues/locations much further out (2-4 hours or more). While we have no objection to this, these will incur a reasonable travel fee (ranging from $50-$200 for most locations) to help cover lodging, food, fuel, and other travel-related expenses to best support you.
Yes. The easiest way to do this is by using our planning portal to upload your specific requests before the event (i.e., must play these songs, do not play these songs, play if possible, etc.). We can support on-site requests, but these may take a little time to work in depending on song availability.
Yes! If you are a military member (active duty/guard/reserve), teacher, healthcare worker, or first-responder (fire, EMS, police), I offer a 10% discount on services as a thank you for all that you do for people who you impact.
My style mostly involves watching and responding to the crowd. I play a wide variety of music and will bounce around the genres, but I will also target specific types of music given your input and what your guests are interested in. I have had a lot of experience with this and enjoy blending and shifting around the spectrum as it best suits the event and your vision for it.
Yes, and a dry ice machine! Before booking, please double check the requirements with your venue as some will not allow one or either of these to be used due to various policies or code restrictions.
