Responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process. Mike made sure to walk through the venue with us ahead of time so that every logistical detail was locked in well before the big day. He handled all the traditional wedding DJ responsibilities flawlessly, but he also embraced our more unique requests without hesitation. We asked him to play video game lo-fi music during cocktail hour and dinner, and he absolutely nailed it. We're also huge fans of metal and rock, and we were initially worried that might not translate well to a wedding dance floor. He was able to mix those songs in live and keep the energy high all night. It turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the reception, and honestly something we weren't sure we'd get to experience. “It was an amazing experience working with the three amazing people we were assigned for our wedding. We booked a photographer, videographer, and DJ through this company and I don’t think I could have asked for much more than what they did for us! Finding vendors for these three jobs was very important to me as a bride because I wanted to make sure it was going to be a stress free and memorable day. I wanted to make sure everything was captured and that friends and family would have the best time possible celebrating with us. To start with our photographer Sean, he is such an amazing individual and was such a light hearted and fun energy to have. He got along with everybody and was so patient with our youngest and oldest family members. The photos we received were amazing and captured so many great moments without feeling posed. Our videographer Jason captured such great moments for us and cracked so many jokes throughout the day. Our video is absolutely amazing and was pretty close to what I had imagined before receiving it. When your videographer willingly whips out a kart wheel to show off to a group of dancers, you know he’s passionate about his job. Lastly our DJ John was the perfect DJ for our party! He was so attentive and absolutely hilarious. An amazing MC and worked with me to create several surprises throughout the night. As a dancer and perfectionist, I could not have asked for someone to have read the room any better! I never had to ask for songs to be skipped and my guests felt so comfortable to approach him with requests. I don’t know if we could ever put into words how well they worked together. Everyone that we dealt with through this company made our experience so easy to manage.”

“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers - even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. We worked with Brent, and he did a fantastic job taking our inspiration playlists and expanding on them to play music we loved for cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance floor. He also brought in a disco ball and lights that made the dance floor so fun. The dance floor was never empty, and my friends and I were screaming to songs for hours! Brent could read the room and kept the perfect flow with how the crowd was feeling. Brent was also very communicative and was self-sufficient the night of so that we could relax and be fully present. We would definitely recommend using Alternative Wedding DJs!”

“DJ Fidel was an absolute class act for our wedding. His open communication was amazing! He likes to meet on video call and even has a worksheet to help get everything set for the special day. Fidel was MC’ing for us and was incredibly flexible. When I brought up connecting my sibling’s instruments for the ceremony he immediately offered to help. For our wedding we did Welcome drinks before the ceremony, Cocktail hour after, and the reception. We wanted each part to have its own kind of music and he killed it. I think everyone hopes that the DJ that they choose is able to bring the vibes they want and ensure that everyone is having a great time. DJ Fidel was without a doubt that person.”

“We went thru a process of interviewing different djs in the early stages of wedding planning. We interviewed two prior to Joe and after meeting Joe we canceled the next two. We knew he was going to be the best choice without even looking at the other two. He has top of the line professionalism, punctuality and downright talent behind the decks.
