“We had our wedding at Elizabeth Farms and it couldn't have been a better venue! From the first visit through to the end of the wedding, we truly felt cared for and that they wanted our day to be as special as we did. The entire grounds and Barns are gorgeous and well taken care of. Everything is so pretty that we didn't feel the need to do too many of our own decorations, which meant less work and cost for us. The communication throughout the process was easy and very responsive. In the last two weeks before the wedding, I needed help making some decisions and the venue coordinator listened, answered questions, and offered advice. The actual wedding weekend was just the best time. We had a spacious and comfortable area to spend the day with our bridal party and get ready on site. All of our guests commented on what a great place it was and how beautiful it turned out. The staff is just so friendly and checked on us throughout the night. We loved everything about having our wedding here and wouldn't change a thing!”

“Landis Valley is a gorgeous venue if you like the rustic farm vibe. Cool old buildings, plenty of outdoor spaces, such a unique place. We got married there in September and it was so perfect—the weather, the beautiful grounds, the flowers and trees, the animals—it was exactly what we envisioned, and it made for some incredible photos! Speaking of, this place has soooo many cool photo spots. Luckily, our photographer David Naples had shot there before so he knew exactly where to go and got tons of amazing photos (if your photog has not shot there, insist they scout it before hand). The team at Landis was very helpful and easy to work with, especially Katelyn, the venue coordinator. She helped us so much with planning and answered every question, it was a huge weight lifted off us. We cannot thank her enough! Highly recommend this venue for a rustic DIY wedding.”

“CEI was the perfect space for our wedding day! The conservatory was gorgeous and the acoustics were great for our guests to hear the officiant and our vows loud and clear. The outdoor spaces offer a wide variety of photoshoot opportunities. Because the venue manages so many weddings, we felt that our onsite wedding planner was a little frazzled at times. Nonetheless, our day of coordinator did a great job and reassured us that we were in good hands. The day went smoothly and everyone had a wonderful time. The onsite room block at the Inn was a lifesaver and very much appreciated by our out-of-town friends and family.”

“Where to begin!? The Hertzog family puts their heart and soul into this venue, you and your special day. Kristen, Scott and Makayla were delightful to work with, understanding our unique needs and helping us plan for a safe and special day during a pandemic. “The Imperial Event Center at the Holiday Inn was the perfect way to end our wedding night. Having a ballroom available from 10:30 pm to 1:30 am gave everyone a place to keep the celebration going after the reception. Guests were still buzzing with energy, and the space allowed everyone to relax, laugh, play games, and reconnect late into the night. It also gave us the chance to spend meaningful time with guests we hadn’t been able to chat with earlier, which meant a lot to us. The pizza and drinks were a hit, and the room was the perfect size for our group. It felt comfortable, casual, and easy, exactly what a late-night after party should feel like, especially when it’s right in the same hotel where everyone is staying. “Where do I even begin to describe The Barn at Silverstone?! It is absolutely the most amazing wedding venue! Our wedding day was everything we could have asked for and more from beginning to end. Everything was truly perfect! All of our guest raved about the stunning venue, the delicious food and polite staff. Miranda is absolutely wonderful! When we toured the venue for the first time, she sat down with us and went over everything. Which was so calming because let's be honest, the beginning of wedding planning can be overwhelming. She made it so easy which was another big reason we picked this venue. She was truly amazing from our first meeting to the final moment at the end of our wedding. Communication was always quick and she was beyond helpful! She answered all of my questions, big and small. She made the whole process stress free. The day of our wedding, she was the first smiling face I saw when I arrived to the bridal mansion and the last smiling face I saw at my departure. All day I felt at ease knowing she was bringing my vision to life. She displayed every detail perfectly! I can't thank her enough for all she had done! The beautiful venue speaks for itself! Starting with the Bridal Mansion, which was perfect for me and 13 other girls to spend our whole morning. The Groom's Lounge was a great space for my husband, 9 groomsmen and 3 ring bearers. We got married in the Haybarn, which looks like a place out of a fairytale! The cocktail and reception area left our guest speechless! If you are looking for a wedding venue or still undecided, I 100% recommend booking The Barn at Silverstone! It was the best decision we made! We would choose this venue over and over if we could! Your wedding will truly be the best day of your life if you pick The Barn at Silverstone.”

“Our sister found this place and did a virtual tour and from the very first moment we saw Lauxmont Farms, we knew this place was special, but what we experienced exceeded every expectation we had. The venue is undeniably breathtaking, but it’s the people who made it unforgettable. Every single staff member was warm, kind, and genuinely invested in our day. The decorator went above and beyond in ways I’ll never forget, hanging décor from the tent ceiling and making our vision come to life with such care. Our day-of coordinator, Ally, and our attendant, Brandon, were incredible. They were attentive, calm, thoughtful, and detail oriented in every possible way. From our first visit to our final moments on the property on our wedding day, we felt supported, cared for, and truly celebrated. Lauxmont didn’t just host our wedding, it gave us an experience we will cherish for a lifetime. If I could give more than five stars, I would. 1000/10.”

“Historic Shady Lane is such a beautiful venue, both naturally and in it's structures. Working with Caitlyn and their recommended venues made my life so easy in planning because I was sure the whole day would turn out beautifully. We got married in July on what felt like one of the hottest days of the year, but all of our guests still had an amazing time and took complete advantage of the beautiful landscape and spaces HSL has to offer such as the gazebo, reception tent, green house, etc. When I started looking for a venue, I was keeping in mind something unique, natural looking, and beautiful and HSL was all of those things.”

The Manor at Mountain View

Harrisburg, PA
  • Up to 325 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,400

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

“I couldn't have picked a better place to get married. Everyone told me to expect at least one thing to go wrong on my wedding day. The only bad thing that happened was that it rained! (Obviously uncontrollable) however, the coordinators still made it perfect. The inside was set up perfectly. I only truly wanted our pictures outside. They literally followed me around with umbrellas and followed my bridesmaids around with hair dryers to dry our dresses and keep us looking our best all while they were getting wet! I received SO many compliments on my wedding. Multiple people during the days after said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended!”

“We had a great experience having our reception at the Hilton. The food was amazing and it ran so smoothly (we also had a day of planner not part of the Hilton staff). Many of our guests were traveling and had nothing but good things to say about the hotel and the restaurants in the hotel. We had an issue with our limo transportation and they volunteered one of their airport shuttles to take the groomsman and groom over to our ceremony venue, which was so nice of them. They really will go above and beyond to make sure it's a great day for you!”

“My partner and I got married at Goggleworks in May of 2024 and we could not have asked for a better venue. Between the thoroughness of Margaret's communication, to the versatility of the venue itself, and all of the steps that go into making a wedding a breeze - they have it all. We wanted to have a slightly untraditional food situation at our wedding, bringing multiple restaurants together to have a mixed menu and this space accommodated that perfectly. With no required food vendor, you have the ability to get really creative in this space. And when I say that the staff were incredible to work with, I mean all of them! Margaret was fantastic with all pre-wedding planning. We were able to rent the spaces for the day before to load everything in and lighten our day-of wedding load. Margaret was there waiting for us at the loading dock, and there to close up when we left - she is the calming and helpful presence that you want on your wedding day. We were also able to leave our things in the space until the day after the wedding, making clean up much easier on us. In addition to Margaret, her team is stellar, the housekeeping staff are incredibly generous with their time, and the desk staff were there to point our guests everywhere they needed to go. All around a great organization to work with. If I were to do it over, I would choose Goggleworks every time!”
